The park is good for family visit. A refreshing atmosphere and a nearby playground is available. The cafe is just for basic food.

I went to Dukes for a Christmas Lunch on 12th December my volunteers from Park Library. My supervisor Tracy chose Dukes because it is accessible by wheelchair and it is pet friendly. I had the pulled barbecue chicken and cheddar wrap. It was served with a green vegetable and carrot with vinaigrette dressing. The atmosphere was joyful. There were three dogs there in addition to my two cats. The menu has lots of choices. The food is excellent. The Christmas decorations are beautiful. I would highly recommend Dukes to everyone.

There was no queue and I had a dog that I could not tie up, so I pocked my head in the door and asked if I could pay here and get a coffee brought out. My response was a curt "no, no dogs allowed". I explained again politely in case she mistook my plight and that I am not trying to bring my dog in, I just cannot get to the counter as I cannot tie her up, again a curt and simple "no". In the past (without my dog) service has been friendly so I was super annoyed and disappointed to the jobsworth attitude, will not go again.

A beautiful park. Lots of people, many with dogs, going for a walk. Sadly the cafe is tiny and does not allow dogs. The building that houses the cafe is enormous so why such a small cafe? A lot of money could be made by having a dog friendly section. As it is we had to eat our meal, sat with our dog, outside on a cold, frosty day. On a positive note the food was good and the staff were lovely.

Visited here whilst waiting for the rest of the family who were shopping at Meadow Hall. The park itself is a reasonable size and a great place to take dog(s). There is a large orbit that takes you round the park with a large field in the middle. In the muddle is also the cafe. The cafe offers great home cooked style food from Sunday lunches, pies and home made cakes. We had Victoria sponge and lemon cake with tea. Both cakes were delicious and a couple of people we spoke to in the cafe commented how tasty their meals were. Would recommend park and cafe if your in the area

This review is purely for Norfolk park play park as there doesn't seem to be a page to review it! We visit here regularly, at least once a week, more so now since the new play frame has been built. Our 3 kids aged almost 4, almost 2 and 9 months absolutely love it, inf sctbts our eldest favourite park. I was sceptical when we first visited after the renovations as it appeared a lot of equipment had been removed and not replaced, such as the giant swinging bouncy see saw and load some of equipment in the toddler section. However, the main frame has so much new bits added to it, and now has a toddler frame in the same section too, something I was unsure of at first as older kids can get over excited and be a bit dangerous around the little ones, but so far had no issues. There's lots of adapted equipment for children with additional nee such a shame a wheelchair friendly swing, a few net swings and a wheelchair friendly round about. There's a rock climbing bit at the bottom now too. The toddler area looks really sparse when you first walk through the gate with only a few benches, a few swings and a mini trampet. All the other stuff has been removed. However, it's now been replaced with a car track so we make sure our kids take bikes or ride ons, and actually it's become a real selling point, they love racing and stopping at the zebra crossing to let people past, going over the bumps and round the corner. It's a bonus that there's a cafe and clean toilets on site. It could be made better by adding a sand pit and water play section like other parks in Sheffield of the same size! Overall, brilliant park, we love it. Suitable for all ages, right up to teenagers!

The Norfolk park cafe is a small locally run cafe situated in 'The Centre in the Park'. It is a small (about 10 tables), low cost (~£5 for a lunch) cafe selling a range of staple products (hot and cold). It's not exactly high quality food, but it's cheap, not too busy and is a lovely location at the top of Norfolk park. If you want a quite place for a family lunch it's a good spot. And if you have children you'll be pleased to know there are play parks very nearby. The cafe, for what it is, is very nice. And in a very good location.

Waiter gave us a menu and explained the process for ordering etc very promptly. Young lady behind the coffee bar took my order nicely and asked me to wait for the coffee for me to take to our table. No problem with that. However, whilst waiting, the initial girl and the other girl barista chatted very loudly, no rush to make my drinks. They were discussing a story between them and we're swearing f***ING loudly and persistently in front of me and other customers . Unaware this is not a great experience.

We heard that the Angel Inn had re-opened under new management, and that the pub had been given a make-over and were now doing really good food - so we thought we would go and check it out! We went along mid-afternoon on Thursday 25th January, 2024, the place is very clean, warm and welcoming, a nice, cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Louise the manager, who we took-to immediately, is so enthusiastic and passionate about running a good pub. They have a wide range of drinks and the menu although limited at present, is set to be extended, and they do Sunday lunch. The chef, an ex-army chef but with lots of civilian experience in restaurants too, is also passionate about providing great, home-made food. We very much liked the look of things, so we booked for Sunday lunch - we went along on Sunday 28th January - the food did not disappoint! We had a choice of beef, pork or chicken, or we could have some of each. The plate came out with the meat, Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, along with it came a large dish of vegetable and a gravy boat. As promised, everything was home-made, cooked from scratch and as we expected, totally delicious! Then came dessert, we all had treacle sponge with custard, but there was a choice of jam sponge, apple crumble or cheese-cake, - home made, and it too was delicious!, and all at a reasonable price - well worth it! We will be back - but we are also going to go along mid-week and check out their menu offers - they are going to be getting wine and drinks offers too - what more could you want! 👍😁.
