For a casino it meant to serve very good food , they charged me £25.00 for steak 🥩 which I returned to the kitchen twice almost. First I asked medium to rare and it was a vey thin steaks ( could tell it was frozen ) very thin meat which they put on the grill straight a way and instead of medium to rare it was cooked very wel done like hard pice of wood 🪵 with black onion ring and overcooked fries . Unbelievable because it was very quit and not busy at all !!!!! How on earth ???!!! Second time they tried to bring me medium to rare again it was hard as rock 🪨 £25.00 payed and I hardly eat few fries as I was so hungry . No wonder their restaurant is always quit and hardly see any body eats there.shame as they have a potential to be one of the best but instead they are the worst restaurant I have ever payed high price for few bits of over over frozen cooked food. The chef doesn’t know what it medium and what is welldone . What do you expect !!???? Cheapest frozen food which over cooked and when your fries or onion rings is dark . That means they are not clean too it indicate the black oil need to be changed . WONT RECOMEND THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL. . Stay away from this restaurant !!!!

Sorry I play redtooth poker here ,but it has let itself down since covid ,it's all about the cash ,games everything has gone to pot .They use to serve you food ,and you use to get a lot more for your buck .It's all about the money .You can spend most of the day there playing poker,and the only freebies you get is a cup of tea or coffee ,food you pay for now also all soft drinks .

Tuvimos una gran noche de principio a fin, nuestro aparcamiento era gratuito ya que estábamos usando el casino, tuvimos un vistazo y había mucho que hacer La sala de poker estaba muy ocupada, pero no jugamos ya que no sabemos cómo. I can’t believe they took what I won that’s scam I charge 20£ and they gave me 30£ as bonus so I lost my 20£ so I played with my 30£ bonus so I won 95£ I charge my account about 300£ to play blackjack I was playing and I withdrew all money I could take because I needed and they removed that 95£ as well I called they they didn’t answer that’s scam I never play with them again 95£ gone unbelievable

Every Grosvenor Casino I visit, the staff and reception all know me. They smile and chat - it's a wonderful atmosphere. I'm a poker player and all the dealers know my name and make a fuss of me. It's so lovely!

I went here as part of a work reunion event. Casinos aren't somewhere I usually go, so I can't comment on that aspect of the venue, but we had a good large space booked for three hours with plenty of seats and a bar (and access to the casino if we wanted it) and it was a great space to chat and catch up. Loads of parking space.

The bad - their minimum bets are far too high. A minimum of £10/per spin on roulette is unacceptable and is designed to rinse people as soon as possible. The good - nice casino, good atmosphere, nice receptionist, great parking, free soft drinks, nice beer, great food (their burger was awesome).

Went for the first time to the Grosvenor casino tonight. Had a fab time great decor inside and well laid out. Reasonably priced drinks and food were available. Staff were lovely and helpful, especially for a novice roulette player. Can definitely recommend it and suitable for a range of ages!

Visited here on 31/10/2022 after several recent visits when it had improved after the departure of the previous manager. However, after playing for a couple of hours it because increasingly difficult to get a drink at the bar. It was hard enough at first, as there was nobody staffing the bar and a queue was forming, and a customer had to go and hunt down a member of staff who served us, but she was unable to locate the gin, and then a bottle opener and finally didn't put any ice or garnish in the G&T. I wasn't convinced that my 10% had been applied either. It was almost laughable. Finally, after a couple of drinks, nobody would attend the bar, even though I enquired via the slot host and the receptionist, so decided not to give them any more of my money and went elsewhere. In times when businesses are feeling the squeeze, it seems odd that they don't want the custom. Oh, the WIFI didn't work either.

Was a good night until the manager who refused to gives his name. Bold head and black teeth, asking for my partners number. When approached told me he can do what he wants. To which I got told the footage would be reviewed. He grinned at me. Shocking. This is the date and time for the manager on 22/08/22 23:18 again bold guy, teeth like a burnt down fence

On 27th Feb and 12th June I took part in the Redtooth regional poker tournaments. On both occasions I ordered food from the casino's restaurant on site. In Feb I ordered a sausage and egg sandwich, which was absolutely amazing. In June I ordered a bacon and egg sandwich. Omg... Such a massive disparity between the two. The portion, the quality, the price... When I complained I was offered a refund, which I rejected. I don't complain for financial gain, i complain for a reason. I eventually accepted two drinks vouchers. Great service and customer care but the restaurant need to improve.

Went in for a cheeky pint about 4am in the morning on the 30th of june (gaming date 29th) decided to have a little punt. The dealer called josh made sure we was having a good time his customsr service was brilliant. The rest of the staff was very polite and easy to talk to aswel. First time I've ever walked out a casino winning tipped about £40 in total I know it's not much but in for £60 and cashed out £300 was more than enough for me 😊 oh and I must say the casino itself looks lovely better than what it did like 4 years ago.

A very sleezy aggressive foreign guy came up to the wife whilst playing roulette on the machine, he asked for her surname, (not myself, sat next to her), I can only presume because she had a short skirt on,. She obviously objected because she felt threatened and it's intrusive! Sleezy guy called her manager over to confront us as apparently its company policy. The guy next to her was so interested in our conversation he preceded to spill his lager all over her, (you just couldn't make this up it was like a comedy sketch). Wifey refused to give her surname as we had already checked in at reception with our full name and address Manager said we had to give her name or we would be asked to leave, which we did, leaving our new drinks on the side. A lady sitting behind us overheard our interactions and said something derogatory about sleezy guy. Needless to say we will not be returning again 😃

Came for some food as we had seen the Sunday Menu advertised online only to find there wasn’t such a menu when we arrived, or at least we was told there wasn’t. Instead we received just a small menu with around 5 meals on. We took the plunge anyway and ordered 2 small plates and 2 mains. When the food arrived we asked for some cutlery and received 2 forks, no knife, napkin, sauces ect. The haloomi was laid on a Bed of what can only be described as very sad old rocket and the haloomi was way too over cooked and tasted like cardboard it was so well done. I believe they gave us the wrong order as the chicken satay was definitely not chicken, I’d like to go into that one further but unfortunately it was indescribable. Pizza and burger was nothing special but better than the side plates. The burger did have a large amount of sauce on which wouldn’t be so bad if nakins hadn’t gone extinct before our visit. I understand that maybe there’s staff shortages or still problems due to covid but if that’s the case then I would strongly recommend taking food off the menu until you can solve the issues you currently have or risk ruining what used to be a good reputation for food

Don't even try to get a game of poker ANY night unless you're prepared to wait and wait and wait hour on hour unless you sign up to the poker app, put name on waiting list about 5pm and get there for 6pm. All the minimum bets on Blackjack (£5) have gone up after 7pm if i remember and £1 on roulette. Lots of poker players hanging around for a game as the management obviously don't want the thousands in rake they're throwing away each week by not putting poker dealers on to accommodate the demand (great business sense) The service at the bar is poor with on many occasions it being unstaffed. No more live acts by the look of it but plenty of bandits standing like an army of robots. Go somewhere else, it's rubbish here and getting worse every time i go...... I'm a poker player and obviously a masochist, i've wasted at least 20hrs of my life waiting for games in the last 4 weeks and twice not even got a game the waiting list was so long. Rubbish

Thought we would visit before they had to close again and the managers attitude was disgusting. Accused me of videoing the casino when I was talking to my son. Under no circumstances should staff talk to customers the way he did. No cleaning taking place, people sat at machines vaping and laid out in the sports bar on the seats vaping. This casino used to have great standards but over the last 12 months it has seriously gone downhill.

Phoned a week ago to enquire about rules since covid, was informed everything was same apart from sanitiser, screens and mask called in today with my partner who is a member was told I couldn't go in because I had no id, and was treated like a criminal, my boyfriend went to use toilet and I was told I couldn't go any further, the so called manager was called Shakara, won't be going back and will inform my friends and anyone else that uses this place unprofessional, staff clearly not informed of procedures

Visited on the first day of reopening and it was a very disappointing experience. Social distancing and mask wearing wasn't enforced properly. One customers was vaping whilst playing a slot machine and the manager, when approached was arrogant and unprofessional. I have had a poor experience here before and was willing to give it another try but I won't be visiting again.

The car park is a total con, there are signs around the site that state £4.50 to park all day you then get a fine because it is private land. I appreciate that this is operated by a 3rd party but Grosvenor Casino should be ashamed to associate with such a scam. AVOID AT ALL COST

I have just visited the Grosvenor Casino for the first time and I cannot fault it. The staff are so friendly and the food and service was amazing thank you I will certainly come back again.

I visit here regularly and the service can be a bit hit and miss but there are a couple of staff members who shine. After I received an email offering me free breakfast upon paying a £5 slots match play I thought I would check it out. The match play has to be redeemed at the cash desk, but it was closed. Hmmm. Whilst I waited for someone to open it I played a little blackjack, dealt by Harv who was fantastic and a credit to the casino. After around 10 minutes the cash desk opened and I was able to pay my £5 match play and obtain my breakfast voucher, which I took to the bar. The staff member working the bar didn't know what to do with the voucher (why not?!) so someone else was called over who asked me if I wanted brown or white. It transpired that the free breakfast is just toast. Really? Ok, I wasn't expecting lobster thermidor but come on. That's a pretty tacky trick to play and I ended up solely using the match play and then going to 'Spoons and having a full English for £3.65. There is a serious lack of consistency at this casino. I've been three times this week and once it was great and the other two times it was a poor experience due to unmotivated or untrained staff. This, coupled with the high price of drinks and lack of comps, means that I will probably limit my play there and go to Victoria Gate in Leeds which has friendly staff and great comps for players.

Foods nice, prices typical of casinos, staff are friendly, decent mix of games available, modern deco, would recommend if you're into gambling or if you just like watching other people lose their money.

£64.50 to park for a day. Payed £4.50 to park for a day only to get a £60 parking charge ON TOP. If you decide to use the pay and display make sure you use the family spaces up and any spaces next to the fence whether you're a customer or not else you'll receive a fine for trying to be courteous.

The refurb has made it a bit better but it's still understaffed. They need more dealers to open more than one table.

My god, what a fabulous time I had! We went on Tuesday and first had a lovely drink. But then, disaster, I broke the slot machine. But then an ethereal Gabe came to our rescue and fixed the machine for us, he was so clever! What a capable man, our experience was saved; will definitely partake in another visit due to the fab service! Bravo Gabe!

Since the refurbishment (which is lovely), you only get a visiting act once a month, think I was told last Saturday of each month.... we used to come on a regular basis for the entertainment and a little gamble, but all you do now is gamble, not really a night out anymore, unless you only want to gamble.... disappointed

Visited here on a busy Saturday night for a ladies charity poker game. I had such a great night. all ladies received a free drink. I Won some prizes, player points and cash. A special mention to our hosts and dealers Shelley, Wayne, Amelia, Michelle and Jade. Despite a very busy night they were all brilliant.

Yo y mi pareja son visitantes regulares aquí. Solíamos ir a otro casino en Sheffield pero lo encontrábamos frío y sin atmósfera, así que decidimos probar el Grosvenor. Nos encanta aquí. El personal es amable y agradable. Hay una buena variedad de mesas.Las únicas dos cosas que podría criticar es que necesitan más servidores de bebidas alrededor de las mesas y el aire acondicionado siempre está demasiado frío en la mesa de Whist

Fantastic night out. Food was amazing. They had everything you needed for a fun night. We spent 9 hours here. The casino is clean. The staff are great and very acomadating. The entertainment was good. Will be back again next month.
