Great old very down to earth pub

Came up to Sheffield for the Spurs game with two mates yesterday and found ourselves in the Norfolk Arms. What a great pub - great atmosphere, friendly,karaoke going on and everyone enjoying themselves - how a pub should be. Plus great value Peroni and Baby Guiness shots. Shame it's not in London - I'd be visiting every night

Me, partner, and friend, went in for a quick drink on 6/7/24, due to being in town for our ice hockey fix, walked in and first thing woman behind the bar said was , excuse me have you any id, to my friend who doesn't drink alcohol, and is 22, because he didn't, he was told he couldn't be in the pub at all, now that's a first for me to hear that you need proof if age just to sit in a public house, and im only giving 1 star, as cant give 0,

This is where all the jihadists in Sheffield hang out. It's probably not a good idea to set foot here because the security services will pick you up.

God is great, the Norfolk Arms is the best bar in Sheffield especially if you like aggressive fat women.

Met a few friends there for a drink,the prices must be one of the cheapest in town eg.4.98 for 2 pints of johnsmiths and they do a dico and karaoke at the weekend.i enjoyed my night their and will be returning again in the future.

This is a real pub with loads of different characters drinking there. Good price. Clean ladies loos.

On the outskirts of the town and near to the hotel we stayed in. Cheap drinks, lots of locals and plenty of tvs with sport on including horse racing.

It is, what it is, a nice old fashioned friendly bar. Had a nice pint in there and was on my way.

Great beer and staff. Superb clientele

Terribly rude, racist staff- tattoed arms, tallish woman, with long dark hair. Went to the bathroom before ordering and got kicked out of the bathroom. Environment felt very hostile and unsafe. Would not recommend for anyone muslim, young, black or alternative. Genuinely feared for my safety, will not be a place I will go into or encourage others to go in and I never order there again. I felt scared and.thst is not what i want anyone else to ever feel.

You know what? I've been going to and from this place for years, and keep going back. No two nights/days are ever the same. Don't get me wrong - there's some characters that have gone in and out of these doors over time, but there is never a dull moment in here. The staff are ALWAYS so friendly and welcoming, and you'll never get bored here, in fact far from it! There are customers from lives so far apart in everyday living, but they'll do anything for anyone. Always a good place to have a laugh, joke, winge/whine etc, but for me. I love it!!!. Friendly pub good karaoke night on a Saturday

I hadn't been in here for over 15 years , it hadn't changed, still an eclectic mix of customers , full of character and John Smith's bitter at an unbelievable £2 a pint . So it's not in a sophisticated part of Sheffield , but it's an old fashioned public house that is definitely worth a visit.

A character pub pure class a brilliant mixture of people of all ages and differsenties.

Good night out, happy atmosphere, kareoki good beere at very reasonable prices.

Not been down for ages, had a good time catching up with people not seen in a while, game of bingo and pub quiz. Always has been a decent little pub with just as decent staff and punters, rough round the edges but sound as a pound.

Walking around this part of town my twin brother Stephen and I chanced upon this great pub and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, its a traditional pub ,the main room is dominated by a solid wood serving bar, pubby decor and furnishings, tv's to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its a good old fashioned back street boozer. We were here on a Wednesday afternoon, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of the bar team, we ordered Strongbow cider, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. Cider served here was really good, on a roasting hot afternoon an iced cold, sparkling cider really cut through the thirst, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a thirst quenching cider and planning out the day ahead. We really enjoyed our cider's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to The Norfolk Arms Pub we were totally impressed. The Norfolk Arms Pub is easy to locate along Dixon Lane. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 11am till 11pm. Friday & Saturday, 11am till Midnight. Sunday, 11am till 11pm. A great pub if you're in the area most definitely well worth checking out.

We were in Sheffield to watch heaven 17, got a fantastic welcome in this pub from the manager,staff and regulars. Great atmosphere, a good time was had by six travellers from Runcorn, thankyou.

It's a small pub but it is well run the staff are friendly so it's worth a visit also has a couple of real ales

The Norfolk Arms on Dixon Lane is a proper local pub with a local clientele that offers a good beer range.Housed in a traditional pub building which is just outside the main city centre and a minutes walk from a tram stop. The interior of this pub has a traditional pub look and feel with great seating options and a superb outside beergarden. Pubs like the Norfolk Arms are becoming scarcer and its very refreshing to see one like this that is in an out of the way area.This was the first place we visited on our last day of a three day city trip to Sheffield and was a nice start to the day. When we went here this pub was fairly lively with a few locals having a couple of beers and a very friendly barmaid and while we were watching the Horse racing we had a few glasses of fruit ciders from the Strongebow brewery which were served iced cold and well priced. The Norfolk Arms won't be to everyones taste but I like pubs like this that are sadly disappearing at an alarming rate and if we are not careful a great many of these pubs will disappear. The Norfolk Arms is easy to find from the Fitzalan Square/Ponds Forge tram stop it's a minutes walk to the Norfolk Arms. (This is my first review of the Norfolk Arms). Opening Hours. I find it very sad that the new landlady has no empathy with custoners. Went in for a pint. Stood up to look for someine to serve a second pint. Was shouted at for not wearing a mask when standing up. The landlady looked psd. I have been going in this pub for fifty years and never been abused like this before by drunken staff. I have the video to prove it.

Real local pub! Locals mad on horse racing they will also show the football if you ask but no sound!! nothing stops the jukebox!

Vi bodde på Ibis hotel, som er nabohotellet. Vi kom i prat med noen lokale bargjester som inviterte oss inn på en øl. Lokalet var slitt, og det var de fleste gjestene også. Men du verden for noen hyggelige folk, og stedet hadde faktisk en spesiell atmosfære. Live/karaoke i helgene, og bargjestene sang med. Kanskje en plass du normalt ikke ville besøkt, men ta turen inn. Puben må bare oppleves. Latteren sitter løst her inne. Rimelig drikke i tillegg.
