Noor Jahan Exquisite Indian Takeaway in Birmingham

This used to be my favourite curry house.. but this time around all my food was cold.. had to heat it in microwave. Chips had to go in the bin.

No salad or dips with the 2 starters. Food was luke warm when it arrived.

30 minutes late than I was initially told wouldn’t have ordered otherwise delayed me going somewhere shame because regular customer really need to manage their customer expectations better now they have moved

Disappointed with the food.. ordered a lamb buna and no one ate it… there was no salt or flavour to the food.

Was given a keema nan rather than the garlic nan ordered. Otherwise, tasty.

Burnt naan burnt chips chicken curry as tasteless and not extra spicy like I asked ..

Asked for extra spicy abs hot .. disappointing again chicken was tough to eat

Arrived over an hour late and was not hot. Quality of food bland

Sorry guys a big fat no from me. Naga tasted nothing like a Naga. Was very bland, watery and lacked any form of spice. Might of got an extra star if the rice and starter had arrived hot as it was barely warm

I always use noor jahan but so disappointed with our curry it had literally 1 prawn in the whole thing i should've just ordered a veggie curry overall flavours are good but next will not be ordering a prawn jalfrezi unless i call to make sure theres actually prawns in my order.

Although we had an early delivery and the food tasted good, I had requested no mushrooms in the lamb Tawa and unfortunately they were still in there and the cheesy naan had no cheese, chips were also on the cold side. However the actual curry flavour was incredible!

Thought I'd try somewhere different so tried this based on the reviews.. wish I never as the food is literally like Jar curry. Chappatis are not even proper chappatis. Food was tasteless and I'm very disappointed. Will not be ordering from here again. Barely any meat in the curry. Couldn't even eat it.

I keep returning as it's always consistently good quality.

The chef should go back and take training on his cooking skills. It s not tandoori chicken he cooked ,more like steamed or boiled chicken marinated on tandoori masala. He / she should be ashamed of calling his dish - biriyani. No fragrance no seasoning . Rice mixed with cooked lamb is not biriyani. Really disappointed.

Worse food I have had sorry to say I didn’t even eat it that’s how bad it was ruined my night 😩

Curry wasn’t spicy at all even tho it say in the description it is and also didn’t look like what I ordered

The food was 15 minutes late and we only got 3 poppadoms when we ordered 4. However, the food was absolutely gorgeous and reasonably priced! Would order again for sure.

Food was delicious as ever but we were missing a portion of rice, we ordered 3 but only received 2, I'm guessing they were v busy as food arrived slightly late - not a problem but often arrives early which is why I thought they must be really busy today

Shocking ! I placed this order at 7-15pm and the food arrived two hours later! It was stone cold and when I rang the restaurant to see where food was the man just kept saying wait for driver ! Very disappointing

Food was great but food leaked into back. So when my son tried to take paper bag out of plastic one the food fell out the bottom all over our floor. We lost 2 curries so for 27.00 ended up with one curry and rice and family naan between 4 of us!

First time I've ordered from Noor Jahan, had to wait... a few minutes to get big order for collection, but because of this a complimentary drink was thrown in. Also as they had no normal prawns so a free upgrade to King prawns was a nice suprise for me on arrival with a smile from the staff. Food was lovely.

Our food has been over an hour late a few times now. The food is always good which is why we return but we are going to have to try a new place in future as they are not reliable with delivery times

Food was tasty and decent portion sizes. Tarka Dhall veg side was very runny though more like soup. Delivery was 30mins late but driver was polite and apologised. Food was fine once reheated.

Food was beautiful as always, and portion sizes were excellent! Hope you all had a Merry Christmas, and we'll be ordering again in the new year for sure!

Food great, apart from rice being cold, not what I would expect

Fantastic delivery service, food super early, which we were grateful for as we ordered late at night. Curry was nice, lovely favour, could of done with a bit more chicken, as there was small amount. No large chunks. Could of done with more spice, as for a vindaloo wasn’t have hot in favour. It was still very nice.

This is the first time I’ve ordered from here and I have to say that I’m extremely disappointed with what I’ve got. The food came and it was hot but the taste was disgusting. I ordered achari chicken which I was looking forward to eating but when I opened my box there was nothing but a thick nasty sauce and hardly any chicken in it whatsoever, secondly my chappatis were soggy because they were put into a plastic bag. My daughter had nuggets and chips and the nuggets were burnt and like rocks. She hasn’t eaten properly and neither have I, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone who knows there Asian foods as ours was bland and disgusting. Not happy at all.

Brilliant food as usual, only thing that disappointed was not getting the complimentary Onion Bhaji that the included menu in the bag always mentions despite paying over £20 and asking for it in the notes. Not the biggest deal in the world, but would have been nice to have since it was included when ordering from their own site. Again, brilliant food still and very happy to support them and recommend them to friends and family.
