The Paye was a total disappointment nothing but bones no meat at all. For the price expected much more

Very tasty food. Extremly happy with the naan. Not the usual thin stuff. Nice and fluffy and the donner to go with was excellent

chicken pakore was rock hard and not fresh.chappal kebab and katlama was very very spicy lots of chilly flakes.Sish kebab was bland no taste. nan and chicken samosa was good, curry portion not right taste good.

I’m sorry to say that I was very disappointed with the food I received. The chicken was extremely oily, as shown in the image I have shared, and the taste was very bland. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations, and I feel that it was not worth the money.

Missing items and to top it off the food was NASTY! Avoid Avoid Avoid!

I was here this evening and I asked the guy behind the counter for price of the samosa he said £1.20, however when looking at the menu the price was £90p. I challenged him on this he replied oh the new menus are coming. Like if that's the cases why are they on the counter on not out of customers way.The customer service was poor and the price were extortion. Never again

Es Hussain... siempre pedimos nuestros currys desde aquí. Hace solo unos días pedimos el Nihari, Pollo Curry, Naan, Samosas y Pollo Biryani. La comida era muy rica y fresca. No podemos esperar a ordenar de nuevo. La comida sabe a casero y la calidad es excelente. -Muchas gracias.

Great place to eat a delicious shish kebab, chicken tikka or masala fish. I bring my family once a month for a slap up feast in easy surroundings and friendly service!!!

The food is amazing, i travel miles to specially eat here, their (chapali & seekh) kebabs are amazing, the khoya gajar halwa is also amazing

All the food we received this time tasted so fresh and tasty. There was a lot of Nihaari in the container. The Lamb Handi was delicious. The Samosas were less oily and tasted really nice. Thank you for the extra salad. The Chicken Biryani and Nihaari were the best we have had in a long time. The Tandoori Naan was soft and tasted really nice with the curries. Overall we cannot fault the food this time as it was just perfect. Thank you very much for this.

We had a terrible experience at Alum Rock Kebab House. The seekh kebabs were completely flavourless and had to be sent back. The lamb chops and doner kebab were mediocre at best, offering nothing special. Their frozen fries were dry and unpleasant, sticking in your throat. On top of that, the service was slow, with items brought out at a snail's pace. To top it off, we ordered three naan, but only one was served. Overall, we couldn’t wait to leave and will definitely not be returning. Would not recommend.

The Keema Aloo Curry was lumpy and you could smell the fat when you opened the lid. The Veg Pakore were rock hard! even after we tried to microwave them. The Chicken Samosa and Veg Samosa were dripping in oil! and looked as if they had been refryed as they were dark. The fries were not tasty they were dry. The only two items from this order that were nice are the Chicken Handi and the Tandoori Naan. Unfortunately we could not enjoy all the food this time and not sure if we will order again.

Order food for collection they only gave me half the stuff, missing items are 2 masala fish naan 5 sheikh kebabs and kajrela £37, tried calling but no one answered hope to get a refund Went yesterday and must say top guy Harris looked after us rectified the issue we had masala fish & grilled chicken wings great customer service wish them all best

It was the best experience ever, the food is fresh made not like other place pre made and the food taste amazing, you have lots of options here like 10 types of curry’s and 8 types of bbq. I will recommend this place for sure come and try it you will love it.

Been visiting this place for more than 15yrs it was one of the best in brum always loved chicken tikka in nan that used to be favourite it used to cost me £4.20-4.50 I have a fiver since it changed its management I ordered the same food this time nan was small as anything 3pieces of chicken tikka mountain full of salad £5.50 get lost on ya bloody bike mate. Never went in again.

Tasty Chapli kebabs and other starters, fresh food. Didn’t try main courses, but found the quick serving food tasty.

There was not enough chicken curry in the container. We order all the time and paid £11.20 for this, the container should be full like it used to be the first few times we ordered. Now they just give lots of oil which fills the container. The fish pakora were really nice.

Samosas are ok, biryani is also ok-ish and chapli kebab is not good.

Very oily and very old chicken. Smell was really bad and end up in giving it back to them but paid for it!

Normally arrives in half hour but was half hour late and arrived colder than usual perhaps it was closing time and one of their last orders. We warmed up the food and it was still very delicious and one of our fave places to order from in Birmingham.

You’re missing out if you havent tried their chilli sauce - it’s amazing and home made. Chai is amazing!!

If you want authentic chai then come to this place omg it was amazing. Better than those chain shops. And the samosas were fresh and beautiful. Make sure to try the chilli sauce, it’s fresh made and I ended up buying a bottle of it

❌❌❌ AVOID,AVOID,AVOID❌❌❌ I went here and 2 ladies served me half warm and half cold kebabs. Sitting area was vile and dust on the sauce bottles. I asked the guy if i can have another fresh kebab, he touched the kebab i returned to him and put it straight into the microwave and gave that back to me. I gave it back to him and said to him what are you playing at? No sorry no apology nothing.bill was high compared to what i order, but i didn't bother arguing as i wanted to be out of there Asap. Avoid at all costs!!!!

All the food was great but we asked for salad which we did nkt get. After spending over £50 you should really give salad for free like other restaurants do.

Dont go there they are Liers specially the old man who will serve you on counter when you done order they didn't tell you price after they will charge you more..They charge me just for small portion of chips £3 and Fizzy one (Not branded) £1.50...Not recommended

Drove 2 hours just for the food, amazing food and the staff were so polite, made me feel right at home, will be coming back monthly with the family InshAllah!!!!

Today first time i had been to this restaurant, i ordered half grill Chicken With Lassi, they charged £10.50 but the chicken was awful seems they cooked it in the morning and give it to around 3pm..i would never go to this restaurant again

After returning the katlama with hair inside I see more hair around the coriander on top of my fish … no staff wearing hats or following food hygiene

Best Falooda I ever had. Hands down

I've been visiting ARKH for 20 years and it's still the best chicken curry in town. A well flavoured full bodied curry, beautiful. Their, masala fish and other dishes are also mother watering. In addition the kebas are always spicy and and juicy and the portions are not mean unlike some places.

The Rate is very high does not meet according to taste..

Biryani and chicken kebab were average. Haleem was good. We were so hungry that we could not take any picture. The aged (old) man with beard was a bit rude asked him to change chicken piece in biryani and he didn’t listen.

So hungry at late Night wanna eat roti and they still open at 3:40 AM To full fil your hunger

Popped in for some takeaway. Service with a smile. Chicken Biryani was really nice, chapli kebab, kachori, chicken pakoras, and Sheesh kebabs were tasty also. The chilli sauce was just perfect with the food.

I usually go to Kebab House when we go shopping in Alum Rock and have left a good review before. But today, I needed to be honest. It was very busy today but this shouldnt be and isnt new to the restaurant. The food was very extremely bad. It was cold, uncooked and not fresh. We had to ask for food to be warmed up but even then, it did not taste good. We had to get up multiple times to request for sauces, tissues and issues around food. We were patient with the timing of the food as we understood it was busy. However, it doesnt justify serving cold and uncooked portions of food that could cause salmonella and food poisoning. I wouldnt have minded waiting ten minutes extra if it meant the food came out prepared in an orderly manner. Also, I paid for more than what I should have, not realising until after and the cashier was too busy to go back to and ask again. I would calculate your meals properly to ensure you are paying for what you ordered and not more.

I asked for a kebab and they give me a different type. However, they were both small portions but I highly recommend. I got a take out but I didnt want them to take it out

when i asked for a kebab they put it up my bum (i liked it but could have been bigger) but other than that i loved the food and service x got proposed here by the loml ( abdhulahi kareem)
