Absolutely awful! I ordered take away. What I received you would not serve to your dog. The bok choi garlic and broccoli garlic were up to the brim SWIMMING in a thick sickly gloop. The supposed "massaman simbal curry" was not even a close resemblance of this dish. It was also swimming and similar taste to the vegetable's own gloop just a slightly different colour. INEDIBLE. I am never ordering from here again.

Starters were cold, lamb for pancakes was cold and very fatty, mains were pretty tasteless to be honest, not a great meal

All dishes taste different, the quality and size of portions have been changed dramatically. Even the rice had carrots in that usually doesn't. This is something I noticed not only with this order but with the last 4 orders.

This restaurant deserves to do well. It serves great value meals in an atmospheric setting. The staff are all perfectly attentive and caring. the taste of the food is outstanding. I had Crispy Chicken Salad and loved it. My husband had Satay Chicken and said it was a 'have again' dish

Absolutely terrible, avoid if you like your meal hot! Food was cold, I don’t mean it wasn’t piping hot from the oven, it was actually cold. Just eat doesn’t offer tracking service for this restaurant but from when Order status changed to Delivering your Order it took over half an hour to arrive, by car at 10 at night I am 5 minutes away. Just eats refund of less than 50% is no more than a good will gesture, should have been 100% will never use again.

Beautiful restaurant, amazing service, great prices, and food to die for. I ordered lychee juice and pork ramen and paid £14.70 for a huge bowl I could barely finish and a cup of lychee juice that they'd given me 4 whole lychees in too. The texture of the noodles was genuinely incredible and the broth was absolutely perfect. We were also given a large bowl of complementary prawn crackers. I went there with a friend and we could barely even speak to each other because we were too busy enjoying our meals. Could not recommend more

Food ordered at 21:45 and arrived at approx 22:00. The ETA changed due to delays. The chow Mein was meant to be without bean sprouts but contained them. This was a big part of the meal and was disappointing. The sweet and sour chicken balls were more batter than chicken - and that was extremely over cooked.

I ordered King Prawns and broccoli in a garlic sauce. There were 4 prawns and the sauce wasn’t a garlic sauce just a tasteless runny gravy. First and last time I shall visit. I should have stuck to full house 88

Just ordered Noodle Zone via Ubereats… AMAZING!! BEST Chinese take out I’ve had locally… shiitake udon noodles were absolutely delicious. Chips crispy. Veg spring rolls crispy and delicious. Definitely be ordering again!

The food was SO good and the service was impeccable - one of those lucky finds and will now eat here whenever we're in Colchester. Excellent choice of both meat and vegetarian dishes and the tofu was really good.

Ordered at 6.23pm.Food did not come until over 2 hours late!Tried 2 phone Noodle Zone.Line was continually busy.Driver turned up over 2 hours late!Full of apologies.was told Noodle Zone was so busy.Taking so many orders at once.No 1 contacted us from Noodle Zone 2 say order was going 2 be late & were we OK waiting.Food was luke warm at best when it did arrive.I would like a refund.But call me pessimistic doubt will happen.Family was hungry after 1st hour.Had to wait well over another hour 4 food

We had a family meal for 7 tonight. The restaurant is very welcoming with a lovely warm atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely fantastic and great value for money. The portions are big! We will most definitely be back!

Takeaway food was not only reasonably priced and good value, but it was sublimely delicious! I really recommend the chef’s special Assam salmon, gorgeous flavours and spices. The people were so friendly and helpful and even helped me carry my order to my car.

The dishes were oily and rubbish. All tasted the same. Duck was inedible, veg wasn’t fresh. When ordering it said 40 mins and it took 2 hours. Small portions. Waste of money and time, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Spent £67 and waited over 2 hours food was cold when arrived and spent nearly £14 on quarter of duck to open and a small tinfoil tray not even half full and all hard. Really dissappointed. Had treated us as have been at work all over the Xmas period and wanted a nice family meal but was so dissatisfied and wish I hadn't bothered 😔

Absolutely the best quality vegetarian food. Freshly prepared and cooked huge variety of quality vegetables. Would recommend the tempura asparagus as starter.

Had the most delicious food last night. Everything was cooked beautifully, the meats very tender, the veg very fresh and crisp, the honey pork was devine I could eat that for days. Beef rendang was new to me but I'll for sure have that again, absolutely delicious. Service was wonderful, so welcoming and friendly. Portion sizes were very generous. 10/10

I’ve been dine in here many times but this is my first takeaway from noodle zone, their takeaway is outstanding too and very cheerful driver.

Ordered the Special Chow mein last night as a takeaway and the food had a staple in it. Yep a staple from a stapler. Disgustingly dangerous. What if I a child had shared some? I’d eaten half of it. Eat here at your peril.

One of the best chinese i’ve ever had, They have loads of selection specifically Malaysian dishes are fabulous. I would have given 7* if I could. Definitely recommended will be back again soon…

Came for lunch on a weekday and had a delicious meal. We opted for the set menu which had duck pancakes as a starter and then three mains. We chose satay chick which was amazing, sizzling beef which had great flavour and chicken chow mein which is always great from this restaurant. All food was tasty and service was good. We will definitely return!

Absolutely lovely fresh food. I was abit hesitant as the restaurant was empty when I walked in, but this place needs more recognition, unsure how it is at night but it was amazing, the server was a young gentlemen, he’s been there for 3 months, so polite and welcoming! I would 10000% come back here again! The lunch set menu is amazing value for price!

Had the special set menu with my partner for hes birthday! I rang up in the morning and asked if they could do something for hes birthday and they put birthday banners up for me which was really nice anyway!!! I have tried every chicken satay in colchester and i would say the noodle zone has the best chicken satay!! Actually tastes like a satay so yummy😍 the staff was so lovey and helpful! Also they do the best waffles😍we also had yellow bean and cashew nut chicken was lovely and we also had house special noodles which was so much flavour and just so yummy!!! Would defo come back!

My husband, our 10 year old daughter, and we came on a Tuesday evening. We chose the set menu as we were on a budget. We had the crispy duck starter, I had the beef Thai red curry, my husband had the pad Thai, and my daughter had something that wasn't on the menu, but they were very accommodating. My daughter had plain prawns and steamed rice. Excellent service, and the food was amazing. With drinks and the set menu for 3, it came up to £56.20. We will definitely return. Thank you

Be careful!!! All of the meat dishes we ordered had a serious number if bones in. Even sweet and sour chicken. The mutton curry was inedible because of the numbers of bones. You would certainly have to think twice if you were giving this to children. Because of this I will not order from here again.

Very disappointing service from a normally reliable restaurant. No notification that there was any delay until contacting the restaurant (took 24 attempts to get through) and then told that the order had been sent out before even giving any details of the order over the phone. Delivery was 35mins late despite goods marked as despatched 45 mins earlier. When food arrived portion size was not particularly generous considering the price nor when compared to other restaurants.

Totally yum again, loadsa leftovers for tomorrow, I can hardly wait (but I must!)

Food is great when it arrives, we ordered a delivery 2 hours, 20mins ago and it still isn’t here. Very poor and when I called it appears that as I ordered direct it has caused an issue, maybe a delivery partner who will detract money from the business is the way forward!

Ordered beef curry got some Horrible white stodge meat. Hardly any duck In the duck dish. Two pieces of tofu in the tofu curry. And ground 4 pieces of beef in the beef chowmein. If looked and tasted rank . I would stay clear.

The driver was very rude! He banged repeatedly and very loudly on the door. He then demanded a tip and was quite rude when my husband said no not impressed!!
