Noak Bridge in Basildon

Great pub for sports, family and food... And now with the sun out the experience is even better. Came in for a pint and ended up ordering food as the dishes coming out looked really good. We were incredibly well looked after by the staff especially Graham. The signature burger is enormous and really tasty. And the sirloin steak was perfectly served and really tasty especially with the beef dripping and merlot sauce. We paired that with cold ciders on the patio in the sun while the kid jumped into the playground and had a great afternoon. Thanks to the team, well impressed.

Quiz Night at the Noak Bridge pub. Can get a bit chaotic, but the staff are keen and helpful. Food is varied and well prepared, but they could have a few more vegan options (hello Greene King). Very dog friendly as long as they are calm and well behaved.

Meal was great, very quick and friendly service. We were served by Graham who was so attentive and lovely. Will definitely be returning.

Meal was fine but the cost of a pint of IPA was £4.95 when the same pint a few miles away in Wickford, in the same chain, is £3.12. Seems extortionate considering the pubs are very similar. Also don’t appreciate dogs being allowed in the restaurant when you’re eating.

Visted to catch up with family, wished we had checked as football was on, pub was extremely busy and noisy. Upon ordering drinks at the bar I ordered a mock tail which was basically fizzy pop, not an.umbrella or garnish in site and at around £4 I wish I had just ordered lemonade. There were 5 of us, food was slow to arrive at the table but plates were warm and the food was ok for pub grub, burgers particularly good, portions not massive. The worst thing about the pub for me was the state of the toilets, locks on doors broken, toilet roll dispensers broken, why they put a sign up to say toilets were checked regularly ill never know, the garden area was scruffy too, just a little bit of love would make this a much nicer pub.

First time I had eaten here. They squeezed us in as we didn’t have a booking. We were served by Graham. He was amazing. Super friendly. Done his absolute best and generally thought he was a manager with how great he was. Also food was delicious

Graham was the perfect host and such a lovely person, happy and chatty, will definitely come back, will try their 3 small plates next time

Thank you to everyone for their hard work yesterday and for letting us use the restaurant for my husbands 50th. The food was fantastic and plentiful, the area worked out great and the music later on made it a real party. The guy who brought the food out was always smiling and that makes such a difference to everything. Ample parking, kids play area clean and safe. Busy bar but good to see people are out given the current hard times. Once again thank you very much to everyone who was involved with our booking ❤️

Went to the Noak to meet friends for a birthday, had an area just for us, DJ was good, pub DJ not private hire, bar staff efficient and friendly, definitely a return to place. Buffet food provided by pub, all looked and tasted good... allowed lit candles on cake, some places don't! Pleasant evening in a pleasant place

Went for my birthday 🎂 had dinner and some drinks with family. Great atmosphere 👌 and the staff were very friendly 👏. I've that you can bring dogs 🐕 here too as we brought ours and tgey serve food for them too. 😀 better roast dinners than Toby carvery for sure.

A lovely pub and their normal menu offers lovely food however, I would advise against anyone ordering the Sunday roast. The meat is gorgeous and the Yorkshire puddings are nice however, everything else was a complete let down. The potato's had no colour to them and were not soft and fluffy like you'd expect. The stuffing was bland and chewy, the biga in blanket was too well done and dry and the veg was undercooked in my opinion. Overall the roast was a 4 out of 10. Although the roast was a let down, the pub has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly!

Graham was exceptional from start to finish - we had a couple of young children and nothing was too much for Graham and the whole team!

We visited one Sunday, there were 8 in the party. Food was ok’ish for the prices we paid. I had to send my drinks back twice as there were lipstick marks on the glasses. The ladies toilet was dirty, no lock on the door and generally just grubby.

Love this place. spend a lot of time here with friends - always a great atmosphere and great service from all.

Proper old style pub . A throwback to pubs forty plus years ago where you would go specifically to drink for pleasure and socialise

Great atmosphere, friendly staff who work hard to make sure everyone has a good evening. Food is good. Reasonably priced. Good family pub. For better weather, there is a nice outside space and children's playground.

3 of the 5 vegetarian meals were unavailable. There was a quiz night on so it was going to be busy The microphone was too loud for the quiz too

Amazing local pub! I was welcomed by staff members as I entered, and made to feel welcome. Very knowledgeable staff and a shout out to Jade for pouring the best Guinness I’ve had and topping it off with Shamrock!! Ordered the mixed grill and food came quickly and taste great!! Highly recommend the Noak Bridge for a friendly welcoming pub!

A lovely local pub with friendly, helpful staff. Nothing is ever too much for them and they are always happy to help. Food is always good and Crystal is always friendly and sociable to both regulars and new customers.

Great night ..regular quiz twice a month run by ollie..all staff work very hard and are all very friendly and helpful. Food is good quality .. but the staff make it for us.

Graham was our waiter who was very kind and polite. As well as helpful through our eating lunch with my partner!! He made sure we were well catered for. Food was lovely, hot and fresh. Drink was nice too Would definitely recommend and will be coming back.

James and the team recently held and catered for my late father’s send off and I cannot fault them at all. The food was great and we chose from a varied selection which caters for all. There were plenty of staff so no one had to wait for a drink. The team 100% delivered. Thank you James and the team.

Very friendly environment and Crystal was very attentive. Unfortunately there were not enough staff to clear tables, so that spoilt it. The food was very nice, quite a lot of choice.

If I could put 0 stars I would, won’t service us anymore as accused of being on cocaine by the man behind the bar, we was a table of 6, mixed ages out for a works meal… happy to our money until 10:30 for dinner, dessert, drinks and shots. Absolutely disgusting, as absolutely wasnt doing anything more than eating drinking and enjoying ourselves. Massively let down by this place

The perfect local pub for dinner and a drink. I often walk here with my neighbours dog who is always welcomed with open arms by all members of staff and a great sports area to watch football and playing darts. There are a number of friendly staff and locals. A wide range of gins and fresh ales.

Brilliant pub I’ve been with my family multiple times menu and staff are brilliant with my daughter who has celiac disease very helpful in making sure her needs are met, bar staff are always friendly. Also attended a few events over the time and they have been run very well.

An amazing pub that accommodates so well to our football team on Sunday afternoons. The staff are amazing as they are always very helpful and everyone in the team is friendly. Our recent Christmas event was a great night all made possible by the team at Noak Bridge.

We had a few issues at quiz nights every second Monday. However when speaking with Head Office who was very kind and helpful she said that the General Manager would be in touch… true to their word he was. I was offered a gift voucher....

Really disappointment after arriving and ordering a round of drinks and food to our table to then be told that the table was reserved and we had to leave. After explaining that we had just paid and ordered food, what was we meant to do regarding eating to be told to find another table to which there was none available or take and eat our food outside. Obviously not being happy with this due to the cold weather and that when placing our food order we should have been informed it was a reservation so we had the choice to then either not order any food or find another table first before ordering, no sign being visible on the table to which was placed on there whilst at the bar, the manager came over accusing us of being rude to his member of staff without even asking what the issue was and finding out the facts and that he would bar the lot of us. For someone who has been to the Noak bridge on a few ocassion and always quite enjoyed it as my local pub I don’t appreciate being spoken to and accused of something I haven’t done with poor customer service being less valved as a customer to anyone else so I DEFINITELY will not be returning Shame on you Noak Bridge!

Don't use the app. Had to ask 25min after for our drinks, while standing at the bar watching many people served for drinks before I could ask.

Nice little gaf with nice people

Nice that they are dog friendly which is why we went. The food was not nice though, the fish for the fish and chips tasted fishy and the tartare sauce tasted off. The beef for the Sunday roast was very chewy and didn't really have any flavour. If the food improves it would be a lovely place to dine as staff was very friendly.

We organised a surprise hen do at the pub and it was brilliant! catered well for the number we had, allowed us to decorate there side room which is perfect for gatherings. food was served both hot and cold options on the buffet! Thank you Noak Bridge!
