1st time going to this cafè. Staff were lovely, meal portions were huge and extremely tasty. Very good value. Def be re visiting.

Went here on Sunday we've been here before and never been disappointed and today the food was absolutely delicious. From the start parking outside, then entering the restaurant we sat down and was immediately seen to by a server who was really nice and pleasant with us. We only waited a short while and it was quite busy in there but the atmosphere was lovely. We ordered a ham and cheese omelette which came with beans and chips and a chef's breakfast which was massive this came with 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, button mushrooms, curly fries, a burger, fresh grilled tomatoes and 2 slices of bread and butter. Wow what can say I tried my wife's omelette which was to die for, full of flavour and so scrumptious and filling. My chefs breakfast was amazing couldn't fault it in anyway. Portions were spot on. Staff here are very friendly and lovely. Top marks to the chef. We cannot wait to come back.

Friend had fish and chips and asked for coleslaw as extra and she enjoyed it.plenty on plate.i had jacket potato and bolognese was nice with side salad.been before just for coffee .nice atsmphere in there.plentycof variety on menu will go again and try other food on menu.

Fantastic food served very promptly and very friendly service. There's even outside seating as it was a warm day we took advantage of.

Can't believe this place does a Salmon Benedict, one of my favourite dishes, expertly cooked and service friendly and extremely attentive. Coffee was great too.

Went in for waffles with my little one on a cold and wet Saturday morning and was greeted by Charlotte and Zoe, infectious warmth and very attentive on a busy day. Had waffles and ice cream, great waffles, nothing to complain about. The coffee was very very good. As a stop in Wickford for waffles, couldn’t be beaten.

Never actually went, lack of priced menu very off puting . The menu cannot be found anywhere, almost as if it’s hidden. Plenty of pretty pictures is not a sub for a bona fide menu. I’m sure we are not alone in our views.

Best café to go to for an early Sunday breakfast in Wickford

When visiting my daughter she treated me for breakfast & we found this place,food was lovely & service was prompt. Clean & bright bezt breakfast in a Cafe/restaurant for along time. Would highly recommend.

Popped in for breakfast and was very impressed by the amount of food and how good it tasted, it was a shame the orange juice was a branded bottled juice but it was still tasty

I was looking forward to trying this place out did give it a go a couple of times unfortunately it let us down with service and food when I clearly said no bacon they mistakenly put bacon on my plate the simply just removed it from the plate when stated that I did not want bacon and also they kept getting few things wrong

The Ladygate and surroundings are looking very tired. Too many boarded up shops.

First and last time. Waited 25 minutes before asked where was w our meals were, came back a minute later and asked us to repeat the order without an apology. Food arrived 5 minutes later, no toast, I asked for it, waitress didn’t return. My partners order was wrong. Can suffer bad service if the food is good, but utterly tasteless. Typical cheap wholesale produce and massively overpriced. Won’t be returning.

We went to Mems Kitchen, we had a big lunch and I had a burger, chips and beans. It was really clean, the waiters were really good. It was fun.

Been here before and was happy however on this occasion i was extremely disappointed. The waitress appeared miserable initially. She asked if i wanted salad to which i replied no thank you. When my 'Halloumi, Basil and Avocado' panini arrived 10mins after my husband's food, which he had to start eating without me, there wasn't enough halloumi to fed a child, there was no basil in it, just a sprinking of dried basil that you'd use in cooking and loads of avocado! and i was given salad. When paying, my husband explained that it wasn't good and the reply was 'Oh'. Will not recommend nor will i visit again.

Came here for a spot of brunch and was not disappointed. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was of a good portion size and as expected. Prices were reasonable. Would highly recommend & will be returning soon.

This is my go to place for food & coffee! The staff are so friendly & serve u within minutes of sitting, they cannot do enough for you even when busy! There young waitress Jess is an asset to the business always friendly & polite & always happy to see you! She works so hard, it’s nice to see a member of staff happy in there job & enjoying what she does! The food is amazing, incl the roast dinners, for a small diner they are on point with just about everything! Well done guys your smashing it! 👍🏼🙌🏼👏🏼

Have visited many times but 1st time with my 23year old grandson who's a bit of a fuss pot, he loved the whole thing especially the quality of his meal. I will be back.

Just returned from men's kitchen, wickford. My mother and I lunch there often but never again. My mother's salad had a Dead FLY in it. Told and showed the young and very helpful and apologetic waitress. Mother's plate taken away. We were charged full price for our meals and coffee, no apologies if any sort from owners. As I said we won't be returning.

Always good food with a varied menu. Staff are really helpful and efficient. Highly recommend.

Mem's kitchen never fails to impress me with their service and meal. They have amazing range of breakfast with reasonable pricing also love their rich lunch menu. The atmosphere is always positive almost feels like you're home having a meal with friends. 100% recommended! if you're about the area its a must try♥️

Absolutely love this place. We visit at least once a week. Excellent food and excellent service. The staff work really hard and are always helpful and friendly. Great for a full English but also do lovely lunches and dinners. Oh, and the jacket potatoes are amazing!

I can honestly say, I’ve never been to a cafe/restaurant before and been served by such an unhygienic and rude waitress! Unfortunately I didn’t catch the waitresses name but the blonde older lady is the one in mention. At one point she had her hands down her trousers pulling out her ‘wedgie’ as she explained to her colleague, then to go and handle customers food and deliver it to them. She delivered our food to the table basically throwing the plates down and just said ‘here you go’ and walked off. (I actually had another order I wanted to place)!! Disgusting attitude if you ask me. I will not be returning! Kelly reed.

Popped in here today for a coffee and ended up with the healthy breakfast - smashed avocado, which was nice. The venue has been recently updated and decor is much better. Also small outside seating area. Will be back again.

Mems came highly recommended by friends. Having lived in Istanbul I was very pleased to find authentic Turkish cuisine in King's Lynn. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hummus to start, followed by Chicken Sis and baklava to finish. Will most definitely be back.

Slightly disappointing food. The eggs (across three different dishes - eggs benedict, a fry up, and salmon with scrambled eggs) were consistently overcooked. Don't deny us the simple joy of a runny yolk, Mems! Also, it's 2021. Let people pay using a bank card! However, most of the food is fine. Also, the place looks great after its refurb, and the staff are very friendly and hard working. More power to them.

I have been here 3 times in the last week to meet up with different people for brunchfast. The menu is fab. So much choice. I'm so boring and had the bacon and brie panani 3 times, only because it is so delicious! Staff friendly and attentive. Didn't have to wait ages for food to be delivered. Coffee was ok that is why giving it a one star. First time here and last oredered a greek salad .tasteless nothing like a greek salad.lettuce and lettuce. Friend wanted double mushroom on toast..it was more of a single portion.not good portions .they only take cash.not good.

My first time to this cafe, It will be my last, I asked for double mushrooms on toast The lady said I would only need single as it is large. Well I'm pleased I ordered double as it still wasn't enough. They only take cash in this day and age. A big cafe with no card machine. Not a great start.

Another place that's had a radical face lift which also includes an outside space. Extended inside with clean bright facilities. All on the flat so really accessible. Lovely food, great value & good service. Really enjoyed our visit.

First time we went there I ordered the vegan breakfast. Portion size was tiny and could tell the cooked spinach wasn’t fresh as it was still frozen in places. Second time I went there ordered the lentil soup. When it came I could tell it was tinned soup. Probably hienz or maybe even Tesco value. Food was ok before the refurbishment. Since they reopened they’ve got proper stindgy and lost their quality.

Food excellent - perhaps a little pricy but well worth a visit for breakfast lunch or dinner
