Lovely community pub, and great service. The Sunday lunch was delicious.

Took my husband for a birthday treat, had been recommended to us by a friend and glad they did. We both had the plated Sunday roast very good, husband wanted the beef but sold out so had the pork and it was lovely, good selection of vegetables asked for extra gravy nothing was too much trouble. The service we received from Owen and the young lady was exceptional they are a credit to the management will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone to go, do book because they do get busy well worth a visit

Really lovely little cafe with wonderful staff, we stopped in for a quick lunch on a weekend. The cafe has a great atmosphere, and the two ladies that served us were very friendly and gave ‘that bit extra’ which really feels like they go above and beyond to look after their customers. Food was delicious and came out promptly. I have just knocked off a star as the menu is quite meat heavy (there is a lot of sausage and bacon) and I would have like to have seen more vegetarian options, like a veggie breakfast for example.

Wonderful traditional old pub. The food was excellent,but the visit was let down by poor service. We booked for 1.00 pm didn’t receive food until shortly after 2.00 ! Incidentally there were only three other tables occupied at the time or during our whole visit.
