My Wife and I enjoyed a very nicely cooked Beef Sunday lunch recently ....the cauliflower cheese was exemplary. Well worth a visit !

My husband and I were bought a voucher for Christmas and used it on a Vegan night. Well, what can I say? I'm sure many vegans will relate to this. It was absolutely wonderful to experience delicious, well thought out dishes, that didn't feel like an afterthought. The presentation, aroma, textures and flavours were up there with the greatest meals we've eaten. The service was a step above and the whole ambience was well thought out. We'd absolutely go again. What a little gem. Well done Sean and team. I didn't take photos. I was too busy enjoying it.

Really enjoyed our evening. Empty plates from all. Food was very good. Our hosts Charley and Evan were great extremely professional and accommodating. We are all very fussy eaters and enjoy good food and this was extremely good food and good value for money. Wine was also good Only negative is we could not get through on phone to book so had to call in this could result in a lot of lost custom and we were unable to leave a tip via cards and we had no cash on us which we were sad about as wanted to tip great service

My son and I popped in for a Hot Chocolate and desert as an end of term treat and we were not disappointed. It is the third time that we have been served my Charlene and Jess and as always they were friendly and welcoming, insuring that my 10year old felt comfortable. The fully loaded Hot Chocolate was amazing and the cake was a real treat. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

Just had an amazing Autumn themed afternoon tea at this beautiful place.The food was stunning with beautiful presentation too.I had a hazelnut latte which was fab too. We were served by Charlene and Jess who were both super friendly and attentive.Will recommend to family and friends and we will return again soon.

Called on the off chance for breakfast having never heard of 600 before. Well, where do I start ? Ordered two full breakfasts and wasn’t expecting what actually appeared. Most breakfasts offered by caterers are ruined by cheap tasteless sausages. Not here, two delicious juicy thick plain pork sausages accompanied by two rashers of back bacon, a Portabello mushroom, black pudding, beans, six mini vine tomatoes, a hash brown, and a round of thick cut decent bread with lashings of proper butter. One of the best, if not the best, breakfast I have ever had out. Delicious and reasonably priced. Staff were lovely.

Six of us sisters went along to celebrate big birthdays with high teas. They cost £25 (ish) but were excellent - and copious. Plenty of savouries (sandwiches, Scotch egg, quiche, sausage rolls) as well as an array of cakes. The scones with cream and homemade marmalade were gorgeous. The one vegetarian among us was well cared for. The restaurant was decked out beautifully for autumn and the staff were brilliant - attentive and good humoured. It is worth going just to look at the decorations (the bathroom is especially cute!) but the food was of a really high standard too.

Highly recommended!! First afternoon tea here but have also been for an evening meal and breakfast. All of which have been fantastic. The service is great and the food is incredible. Well done Sean Nicola and staff

Quirky place with great food and service. I had the Tomahawk steak which was cooked perfectly and was absolutely huge! A real gem! Well worth a visit.

Visited today with a friend for afternoon tea. This is my 3rd time here for the afternoon tea. What I like is that the menu is changed every month. The food is cooked freshly on the day and is fabulous. A varied selection, including sandwiches, quiche, scotch egg and pork pie together with a very attractive selection of desserts. If you are thinking of trying it please book as I’m sure you will not be disappointed.

Here for afternoon tea. Plentiful and an enjoyable job finishing it. Four courses- Sandwiches, scone, and two plates of cakes, pastries and other delights like pork pie, Stilton tart and scotch egg! Superb house coffee. If I had a quibble the sandwiches, which were nice, were overshadowed by everything else- put the basil leaves in the sandwich! Comfortably better value than any London afternoon tea.

Came here on Mothering Sunday for afternoon tea and it was absolutely outstanding!! I've had quite a few afternoon teas in my time but Sean's was by far the best I've had. The quality of the ingredients was second to none and the portion size was incredible. So much so that all the party had to take home a rather large doggy bag. The variety of both savoury and sweet items was wonderful with everything having amazing flavour. The service was excellent, the staff were very attentive and friendly. The tea and coffee was unlimited and constantly refreshed. I would highly recommend this superb quirky cafe/restaurant. Thank you so much for a perfect afternoon.

We had booked to go to No600 for afternoon tea to celebrate Mother’s Day- unfortunately a member of our party became unwell and we had to cancel our table and ask for a take away. The staff couldn’t do enough and made sure everything was boxed and labelled for us. The food itself was beautiful and sooo much of it- amazing value for money. Myself and my daughter are dairy intolerant again this was no problem for the staff they made sure we didn’t feel left out and made us the same delicious treats with no dairy. From the sandwich’s to the sausage rolls, tarts and scotch eggs to the cakes it was all yummy! We all enjoyed the afternoon tea and will defiantly be back to try other delicious meals from the menu. Myself and daughter went for an evening meal here. The venue was exquisite,from the moment we walked in the staff were attentive,friendly and informative about the menu. We had the pre dinner snacks…which were excellent, then a starter,which again was delicious and for the main course,my daughter had the fillet steak,which you could have cut with a fork it was so tender and I had the lobster which was outstanding. Even though we were too full for dessert,we couldn’t resist it.The death by chocolate really was to die for and the cheese trolley amazing. The staff here were exceptional,nothing was too much trouble,along with the excellent food and fantastic setting, this little gem comes highly recommended.

Hubby and I went out for dinner on a Saturday evening. We hadn’t been before but had been to Sean’s other cafe in Llansamlet. So we knew to expect good food. To start we had the pre starters which were mostly amazing (I say mostly but we weren’t fussed on the Confit Chicken Brioche). The beef tartar and the scallop with Granny Smith Apple were both to die for ! For starters I enjoyed the trio of oysters and hubby the scallops. For mains I had the beef and him the lamb. Both were delicious and the portion size was huge. We both went with the pannacotta hubby enjoyed his but I didn’t like the rhubarb on the top. I’m giving my review 5 stars as the staff were both friendly and efficient. The food was mostly brilliant. Any negative were through my choice of dish (as with the pannacotta. Prices were reasonable. And we’ll certainly be back.

The attitude of the management/owner(s) that responded to me was confrontational, abrasive and argumentative.

Amazing food, great quality ingredients. Staff service was amazing and couldn’t do enough. Definitely will visit again.

Booked for afternoon tea with friends for the first time at 6hundred in Clydach.It was disappointing to note they had a ‘3’ for hygiene with the Local Authority.It’s not hard to see why when you get inside... the place is cramped, dusty and looks generally grubby. Service was slow, sporadic and disjointed as not all the teas were served together, drinks requested were late coming and then only after two reminder requests. The selection was poor, no sandwiches, only a skewer with 3 mini brioche buns with merge fillings. Dry scones with a cream-like paste and mini cups with a merge and Watery portion of what was described Eton mess along with two mini cakes. Very poor value for the £15 per head charged.The venue is not suitable for the mobility impaired and can not accommodate wheelchairs which disenfranchises disabled customers.There is very limited roadside parking available with most being ‘resident permit holders’ only.Overall a very disappointing experience unlikely to be repeated

Called for lunch with a friend at the beginning of the week but decided to leave after just a coffee after seeing the place. Only one person working and although it wasn’t that busy she was obviously struggling to keep on top of it all. Tables were cramped together, none of which looked very clean. In fact the whole place looks like it could do with a bit of an overhaul and brighten up to say the least! To get to the toilet you have to go through an outside conservatory type room that looked like a storage room full of bric a brac and then up some steep stairs to a landing again covered in furniture and boxes. The whole place was dusty and my friend and I agreed that we didn’t want to eat there considering the environment around us and the lack of cleanliness throughout the place.

I visited Number 600 today for afternoon tea. It was excellent, I am gluten free and the selection I had was amazing. When I have had gluten free afternoon tea in other places I have felt like a second thought but not here. The rolls were delicious and the cakes amazing, a lovely variety not just stodgy. My mother had the ‘normal’ afternoon tea and she really enjoyed the selection of sandwiches and pies, not just a plate of sandwiches. We will definitely be returning.

We have been exceptionally fortunate to have visited No 6hundred on many occasions, it never disappoints and today was no exception. I had booked afternoon tea for my Husband's birthday, I was able to do this with ease and they were very accommodating when I had requested a vegetarian option.We were seated immediately and greeted warmly by the owner Donna and her staff who we recognised on previous occasions, and although the cafe was busy, staff were attentive and helpful. We had a beautiful surprise when afternoon tea arrived with a fantastic indoor sparkling firework and candle, we felt valued and appreciated as a result.It is fair to say we didn't rush our afternoon and in fact stayed for just over two hours, without being made to feel we were in the way or taking up another table unnecessarily. Portions were spectacular as were the allocated drinks (1 pink lemonade and 2 hot drinks) for the price,particularly as afternoon tea isn't a meal replacer, it's meant to be a filler for in-between lunch and dinner.Thank you for a wonderful afternoon, thank you so much for your care and kindness and thank you for going that extra mile. We will be sure to return.

We've been here for afternoon tea quite a number of times over the last 4 years. Today was the second time for afternoon tea since the New year !!Always love it. Food is lovely and just the right amount. Pink lemonade is served on arrival, two hot drinks are also included as well as the savouries and desert and patisserie items.I love it so much that I've had afternoon tea there for my last 3 birthdays as well as other visits Donna and her staff are always very welcoming and friendly.Fabulous place.Thanks again for today Donna xx

The last couple of times I’ve been the service has been really poor and the staff are really quite rude. Only 3 star hygiene is also not ideal. The place is generally quite grubby and needs a good deep clean. There’s so many lovely cafes in Swansea now you don’t need to waste your time here.

We arrived for our 12 o’clock booking. We were shown to our table and were ignored for at least half an hour. We eventually had our afternoon tea (without the tea). I had to go up to the counter to chase it up. By the time it arrived we had eaten our food. The food was very nice but there doesn’t seem to be any sort of structure to the service.

Very poor service with 3 members of staff chit chatting amongst themselves while my friend and i were waiting to be served.No menu was brought to us and after waiting over 30 minutes i had to go up to the staff and request a menu.I was bitterly disappointed with the food on offer and much prefer The Parlour in LLangyfelach whose afternoon tea is outstanding.You may not get any frills but value for money cannot be beaten.

Atmosphere is magical- it’s a great place to connect with friends. I have been there many times, the owner goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and everything on the menu is of the highest quality. Be warned there are many beautiful home trinkets you can purchase so you will never come out empty handed.

I have been a regular visitor to this coffee shop since opening and have always recommended it to friends and family. However I feel like the last 4-5 times I have visited it has gone downhill. I managed to persuade my son and husband to visit for breakfast one Sunday morning and had to wait over an hour for our food, our coffee had been drunk and staff had to be reminded of our order. Since then I have met friends and either cannot get a table or wait ages for our order. I was there last Saturday ordered coffee at 2pm and at 2.40 we’re still waiting for it. We had to ask where our coffee was. Today I met two friends and yes there were tables free but it was absolutely freezing in there! We sat with our coats on and I noticed other people were too. Such a shame but feel my time is done with the 600

Excellent food but people management cannot be worse. The woman was very rude and unpleasant. I wanted to book for a baby shower, she said she couldn’t find her diary, I said few days ago I wrote an email and said they don’t have email? In website said min 15 to max 25. I said we would be between 15 and 18 and she said only max 15 and I shouldn’t come later to squeeze 2 people. Very unpleasant person, no good worker for the public. Getting worse

Average service, average food, afternoon tea is basic and limited. Had to buy extra tea and coffee as this was part of the experience, which is far behind the times. No experience regarding the menu. Don’t waste your money.

I had a lovely afternoon with my two friends - we all had the cream tea which was perfect - not too much food & every mouthful was delicious- all the staff were very attentive & friendly. We decided to have a glass of wine after eating which was also delicious - the place is so cosy & I could have stayed there all night - I will definitely visit again.

Always a very busy venue, just a bit of patience as you will get seated but worth the wait, but I must admit the Canadian breakfast was very tasty, very good value for money in our opinion, other places charges much more with a lot less on the plate, staff were very attentive and polite, keep up the good work guys,

Wow! What a place! Had the Festive afternoon tea yesterday and can't praise highly enough. On receiving a warm welcome, we were shown to our table and ordered our welcome drink. Who knew mulled punch was a thing? Absolutely delicious. Our afternoon tea arrived and we both loved the warm savoury selection and mini brioche rolls, served with separate chutney and cranberry sauce on a slate. The desserts and cakes were to die for and after a perfect latte each, we were offered another hot drink and then brought a warm mini mince pie and a small chocolate. I needed a nap after all that! The decor is warm and inviting, Christmas music playing in the background and outstanding service. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We will definitely be back. Maybe lunch next time!

Me and 5 others came here for the festive afternoon tea this evening and it was soo delicious!! A variety of savoury and sweet treats for all tastebuds which were very yummy and T a great price! Staff were friendly and were very attentive. The shop is warm, cosy and Christmassy. They also have a little upstairs selling lots of pretty keepsakes and gifts. Would definitely recommend coming here if your after a coffee and cake or even a snack!

I’ve been a customer at this unique and special Coffee shop for many years. I absolutely love the place. Always made so welcome by the staff and always get good service. Never fails to impress me! So cosy and food is always good! I’m always happy going there and picking up unique gifts for family and friends. I would definitely recommend a visit. I especially like it at Christmas as lovely decorations are on display to purchase!

We booked for my daughters birthday today at 12 didn’t get food until 110. Very disappointed won’t go again terrible service

Very disapointed. No sandwiches. Overload on cake and sugar . Then topped off with more sugar in mince pies . Raised complaints with staff who made me feel that I was the problem . Couple on opposite table agreed with my complaint and felt the same after they had previously ordered it on their visit .

Visited this place for lunch with my friends a few months back! The food was stunning and our hot drinks were even better.. however, the staff did forget to place our cakes on the table to which we had to remind a different waitress. Apart from that, a great variety of drink syrups and a lovely cosy warm feel to the store.

A very nice and filling breakfast, the price reflects the quality and quantity of the food. Lovely cosy sitting area, good service and great menu.

Passing cafe after visiting a job, called in for a quick lunch, posh pie & salted chips £6.50 each was delicious they said they vary them, this time was lamb and red currant, home made was delicious, presentation was excellent coffee was of A very high quality, overall highly recommend will definitely be back - staff were extremely polite

I must say I have been visiting here over the years, but the last few visits have been really disappointing. Tables full of empties, staff just chatting, sticky tables. Waited ages for our orders to be taken, finally my tea arrived, 20 minutes later my toastie arrived, I had finished my tea by then. I generally think my sandwich was way over priced for what I received. I honestly don't think I will visit again

I had booked afternoon tea for four, including three vegetarians. Dietary requirements were already noted and the quality and quantity of both savouries and sweets were perfect. This is the second time I have had afternoon tea here and in my opinion it is one of the best,(and I have had a lot of afternoon teas, including the Dorchester and Browns!).

Good was exceptionally well cooked and presented by really pleasant staff - place was full, with others waiting for tables. What an eclectic and cosily inviting place, evidenced by the numbers inside!

I'm really disappointed to write this review as I truly love this cafe, but lately the service has become really poor. There appears to be a high turn over of staff, none of which recognise regulars or know the menu.

Favourite local cafe. Its delightfully decorated with genuine thought and passion. Comfy sofa and seating well positioned. The menu is great, plenty of healthy and traditional options. Whole food options, smoothies, flavoured coffees with cacoa etc. The small things matter and thats what cafe 600 gets right. I will continue to call in.

Had the pleasure of visiting “the 600” numerous times with my in laws who know their coffee and cakes.

Yet another fabulous visit to No6hundred. We went for an early brunch and loved the food and friendly service yet again. I had the french toast with bacon and maple syrup (birthday treat). My husband had the full English breakfast and our daughter had the eggs benedict with a side of homemade hash brown. We all loved the food and can't wait to visit again soon.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to No 6 hundred. I had heard that it was very nice so I went along today with my mother and a good friend of ours. The staff were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. As two members of our party are disabled, they made sure we were seated comfortably, even though it was very busy and we hadn’t booked a table. The coffee was great and very reasonably priced, as were the toast and tea cakes we ordered. We asked for extra hot water and were given a whole teapot full, which was wonderful.

We attended for an afternoon tea for my partners birthday. My partner requires a gluten free diet due to coeliac disease and we were told that this could be accommodated. The staff were friendly and pointed out what my partner could eat and we double checked that so we didn't make a mistake. However a couple of hours later my partner had a reaction and was very ill. As anyone with coeliac disease would know, it's very clear when it's because of gluten and not because of anything else. We had not eaten anywhere else so this could have been the only source of the contamination. I phoned to let the staff there be aware of their mistake. The lady I spoke to was apologetic and got the lady who prepared our food to ring us back. She however denied there being any problems with the food but obviously this was not true to our experience. To be absolutely clear, my partner was ill as a result of eating here and nothing else. While the cafe itself is very nicely presented and the staff were friendly, I cannot in good conscience recommend eating here for anyone with a food intolerance or allergy as I do not believe it to be safe.

We booked an afternoon tea for 8 of us as a farewell to a work colleague. The food we had was lovely, but nowhere nearly enough. We had 3 very small savouries and one cake stand between 8. There were no sandwiches just a very small ham roll each. We all left hungry. Very disappointing!

This is a lovely atmospheric place. The food is delicious and fresh. The only negative is that you wait ages to have a waiter take your order and it takes ages for your meal to arrive, just under an hour.

Visited this beautiful little coffee shop today. On arrival to the shop it would have been hard to miss this building as it looked just as beautiful on the outside as it did on the inside. We were shown to our table, and our drinks order was taken immediately. One of our party ordered afternoon tea with the other 3 ordering off the main menu. I must say, the food was absolutely out of this world, so much so we have booked to return again next week with all of us opting for the afternoon tea as it was exceptional value for money and included 2 hot drinks and a glass of pink lemonade. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and could not do enough for us. Cannot wait to visit here again

I visited number 600 on a Saturday in mid may. The food was delicious and the coffee was made to a great standard; not to mention the impeccable service provided by a tall young man named Declan. He made us feel comfortable and enhanced our overall experience ten fold! It was very busy when we visited so we definitely did not expect the level of attentiveness to our table that we received. A great establishment, accredited by their fantastic staff.

I desperately longed to visit this venue having a busy life I've never gotten around to it. My brother had organised for 40th birthday. When we pulled up I was estatic and couldn't wait to get  inside. We arrived early as we were asked to be prompt. The staff opened the door and walked back inside without any introduction of where to sit or any direction on how to order etc. We guessed our table as the balloons were a giveaway. We sat down and waited over 20 mins before having to asked to be served, there was not enough cutlery on the table and what was, was dirty and the table was very sticky. We waited an hour for food nobody apologised until they could tell we were unhappy. We had to ask for sauces and waited ages. Our food came out separately and most of us had almost finished before the last meal was served. Nobody checked everything was ok before during or after. My brother went up to pay and was told he couldn't possibly pay separately as we were a big table (6 people) in fact the lady made him feel like she was in the middle of something and she would have to stop what she was doing to serve him. She was extremely grumpy and not one member of staff was tentative which being my 40th and having desperately waited to experience this place I was so so disappointed. The food was lovely but portions are small and everything is on the smallest of plates it was hard to manoeuvre. Such a disappointment

We visited to use a voucher I bought for Christmas. It was easy to book (via Facebook). It's a nice enough place, some people would say 'quirky' but I didn't really think so, just a coffee shop that sell gifts?!?!?

The coffee shop itself is very pretty and nicely decorated however the afternoon tea we had was rather disappointing. The food was of a poor quality and there wasn’t much choice - no salad or coleslaw available either. The sandwiches and cakes came out first and we had to wait 10 minutes before we were served our tea. The decoration on the savoury selection was a joke, three limp bits of rocket. I’d have been embarrassed to serve it. Plates for each of us on our table but only 3 of them had napkins on, no cutlery available on our table. Had to get it off the table next to us. Not the worst but certainly not the best
