Really enjoyed the food. Everything was fresh, well prepared and tasty! The hash browns are incredible!

nice cafe, really nice, lovely staff and owner. great coffee too, they use whole milk which does make all the difference. (and contrary to sum beliefs doesn't make you put on weight:) they have one of the most efficient front of house staff Ive ever seen, a bit like watching a very experienced plasterer at work ....almost memorizing LOL

Food is always tasty,they were busy so totally understand a wait but someone else asked and was told 30 .minutes wait on food. We were seated and ordered,to be told that what we wanted was out,just tell ppl when they're given menus what's run out. Then waited about 50minutes for food,there was no mention of that wait,no apology,no checking we were OK with food. Staff are rude,service is bad.

Best brunch I can remember. Especially loved the loaded hash browns.

What a great place! Quite small, but a surprising number of tables and we didn't feel squashed. Our drinks came promptly and although we waited a while for our food, we expected that as everything was freshly prepared. The menu was really interesting with a good choice of vegetarian and meaty dishes. We were visiting from Hampshire, but if I lived closer I'd be a regular!💖

Can't say a lot about the place as they unfortunately closed up early. Arrived at 2.45pm for a sandwich and got told we could have a takeaway coffee only as they're closing up. No reason given which is a shame. Door was closed and hour before their signage said. They use triple co which is nice coffee but unfortunately had to take it away into the cold with no food.

No. 12 Easton is a great place for a hot drink and a snack. The staff are incredibly friendly and you'll often find yourself having a natter with them about something or other!

Good, strong coffee and nice sausage roll. Also has books etc for small kids.

Exceptional food, friendly service & super welcoming for families. Highly recommend the loaded hash browns. One of my favourite brunches in Bristol. Lucky us in BS5!

I had the most beautiful breakfast (Turkish eggs) there and the service was EXTREMELY friendly. I don't normally leave reviews, but I was so impressed with my meal, I decided to it this time, as they really deserve it.

Food was good quality but the tiny portions are an insult considering it's £5 more than a normal breakfast cafe. Nice welcome though. * Review revised as I made one mistake mixed it with another on same page. Apologies. However the 3/5 stars remain valid because both the breakfast portions were small in our opinion. I visited with an experienced chef from the area. We had a vegetarian breakfast and a Turkish egg breakfast.

Always lovely coffee from here -Some of the best locally. Great food too, as well as friendly staff and owners. Great to have this just around the corner :)

I absolutely love this place! I am from Austin, Texas and we have a high bar for tacos and boy did this place exceed my expectation! Truly the best tacos I’ve ever had! The owners are absolutely the kindest people I have ever met. I have come here nearly every day since I’ve been visiting and will be back again! Lovely place, and lovely food. If I had to give some form of constructive feedback the coffee wasn't to my taste but others in the cafe loved it and the staff forgot which one of my orders had oat milk in.

From the minute I entered number 12 there has been a welcoming atmosphere, the owners are friendly and you can tell passionate about their cafe. Apparently they designed a new menu and every dish sounded so delicious that it was hard to not order it all. We had a lovely time.

Always our go to place when we visit our daughter but today, different staff to usual, still friendly! Prices gone up again but drink portion sizes gone down - didn't fill the cups today 😞 Updated - Oh dear 🙄 unfortunate experience today.... We brought some family with us this time, ordered 5 drinks, only got 2! Chased the remaining drinks and just received a load of attitude like it was our fault they didn't get our order right. Very disappointing 😞 I will be contacting the owner as a disrespectful, rude comment was directed towards my wife and her sister by one of your staff as we left the premises. Update: emailed, no response, says it all really.... We definitely won't be returning again. In the words of your staff member "Yay!"

Veggie full easton breakfast was a healthier version of a typical full English. Yet very tasty! They also seem to bake their cakes instore and I was tempted to try. Staff was very friendly.

If you love coffee, without doubt this place is a must as in my opinion it serves the best coffee in Bristol. No.12 Easton is friendly, the food is on par with the best around and a lovely atmosphere. We will be back!

Me and my family absolutely love Number 12. It is hands down the friendliest cafe in Bristol! Gorgeous staff who always go the extra mile, delicious cakes and fabulous coffee. A true community cafe where all are welcome. Popping in and having a chat, and a coffee with the lovely staff is always such a pleasure, and truly brightens up a grey winters day! No 12 is a total gem. A lovely local cafe with the friendliest staff, Zena always makes time to ask how you are and makes you feel really welcome. The most delicious coffee in Easton and a great range of cakes too.

What a fabulous and friendly gem of a cafe in the heart of Easton. Staff are always happy and smiling and most importantly, the coffee and food are both top notch. Welcoming to everyone, the cafe embraces the diversity of the residents in the area and in all my visits, all I have seen is a truly happy and positive vibe. Being a regular, they even take the time to personalise my coffee as the photo shows! Highly recommended!

The food of fine, not great, the coffee is okay I wouldn’t recommend any Jews to visit this cafe as there have been at least 2 reported incidents of antisemitism from staff towards customers.

Back to its best! Excellent cafe with a very relaxed atmosphere. Hot food is back on the menu and their coffee is the best around. Special mention to the sausage roll, that thing packs some meat! Plenty of veggie and vegan options . Super friendly service and staff. Always our go to cafe in the area. Very child friendly and in close proximity to Stapleton station, So great place for a take away coffee before getting on the train. See you again real soon and keep up the top work!

I never give 3 stars but I am just confused. I had an oat milk latte in a takeaway cup which is maybe 4 pounds, and a brownie which is 3.50 and I was charged 10.40. I questioned the transaction and somehow it all added up to 10.40. I'm not sure what the charges were that were hidden but over a tenner for a one shot takeaway coffee and a small brownie seems crazy in even the most hipster coffee shops. Outside of the confusing price, the brownie was delicious and the coffee was tasty.

Nice place. Lovely coffee but breakfast was very greasy. Toilets could have been cleaner. Overall not bad but I won't visit again, if so, it would be take away coffee and cake.

Such a lovely cafe. If it's for family time, a quick coffee, meeting a friend, working or just chilling out, this is the place for you. The food is great, there nothing massive on the menu, but that's not what you need here. Also the staff are fabulous. Never change!

Lovely people making a nice place

I was there with my daughter and she enjoyed herself especially her cheese and bacon toastie. Nice and relaxed atmosphere with azing music to go with it. The staff are very friendly.

This place does great coffee but that's probably down to having a very good supplier. This is the first coffee shop in the world where I've been asked to move table, in order to use my, very small tablet. This was due to some bizarre policy where people with laptops are confined to one tiny table. I didn't want to sit on this already crowded table butI get why they may want to limit laptop using in a very small establishment but please don't have the indignity to ask a paying customer to move for no good reason. I didn't notice a sign on a table limiting parents with children to only 30 minutes and to keep the noise down. , ended up taking the coffee away after about 10 minutes.

Really nice little local cafe. Staff were lovely and I really enjoyed the music playlist. Ate at 1:30 pm on a Sunday so unsurprisingly there wasn't any breakfasts available but I had a delicious Camembert, bacon and caramelized onion toastie. Highly recommend 👍

I love this place, the staff are so lovely! I've tried quite a few things on the menu and it's all been delicious. Their brownies are the best I've ever had and I've eaten a lot of brownies. The coffee and cake is great too!

Nice little place with outdoor covered seating as well as indoor seating. The staff were happy to let me place my cycle around the back for safety whilst I ate my food and drank my coffee. My coffee was the best I've tasted and the sausage roll with mustard is a favourite of mine and the homemade brown sauce was banging 👌

I had to wait almost 4 hours for the MOT to be finished on my car and needed somewhere to wait as I was 20 mins drive from home. The ladies at No. 12 were so pleasant and accommodating, letting me sit outside for as long as I needed with refills on the pot of tea and a warm chocolate croissant to start the morning. Will definitely be going back again if I find myself in the area, thank you for making a very long wait comfortable and enjoyable :)

Had the vegan BLT with the mushrooms and it was one of the best toasted sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life, hands down. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere, definitely a spot I’ll be visiting again!

Recently had lunch here and it was nothing short of DELICIOUS. The atmosphere is great and the staff are always friendly and welcoming and the service was quick! They also sell great wines. Highly recommend.

Had a great time here after gymnastics @ Bristol Hawks with my toddler, plus a second toddler, baby and adult. Staff were very accommodating and made child versions of the menu. Super welcoming and friendly - and really great food too. Will definitely go back.

After a frustrating winter I finally returned to Bristol for a (too) short time, and headed to No12. The same friendly, funny and skilled staff were there, and the lattes they made me were as superb as before. And as before, it sometimes gets it to my table somehow before I've sat down, which is extremely welcome on caffeine-deficient mornings. There are now two chefs, but the standard of food that comes out of the kitchen remains consistently high - a short menu of various sandwiches and warmer meals on sourdough. I've tried them all, they are all good, and I've been educated a bit (I now know the fancypants name for garlic mayo). I also have several new tracks for my summer playlist from the insanely good one that often plays in there. The cake selection - decent portions, unlike certain Bristol cafes I could list - remains distracting, and the ambience of the cafe is still Nordic: minimalist, white painted wood, and lots of daylight through big windows. This place feels like a kind of home, where I can eat and drink well (it is, after all, a cafe), decompress, remember how to chill, read and think and figure out life. I look forward to returning for (a lot) longer next time, and hope to see Jasper again.

Amazing hidden spot in Easton! Great coffee. The staff is super nice and helpful. It is great for couples, friends and family friendly. I am definitely coming back for a breakfast again! Good selection of independent wines and beer. The even have some nice Arbor IPAs! The coffee place to be in Easton!

I feel really sad to be changing my review. Myself and my family have always really loved No 12, but after an experience today, we won't be going back. We have a one-year-old and a three-year-old, and in the past the place has felt really child friendly. This morning, however, within five minutes of us arriving (as our coffees were brought to the table) a staff member asked whether we could keep our three year old quiet (he'd been knocking his feet against a kickboard beneath his chair). I understand that it can be distracting for other customers when children are making noise in a place. We always feel very self-conscious, and try our best not to impose on others, but this morning we'd barely had a chance to sit down and get ourselves sorted (putting our one-year-old in a highchair, taking coats off, moving the sugar away etc) before we were told to quieten down. Honestly, it felt a little crushing, and not like we were welcome at all. We left, putting our coffees in takeaway cups. Like I said at the start, I'm deeply upset about this - we've never had a bad experience in No. 12 before, but I don't feel as though I can in good conscious recommend this cafe any more, especially to those with young children. It's the first time that anyone has ever told us to keep our kids quiet before, and it shocked us. The coffee was - as ever - delicious.
