No1 Public House in Birmingham

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!!! Theres 2 rooms, 1 thats private and the other thats a social club anyone can go into. Absolutely fuming, my sister booked the hired the room for her birthday and her room got shut down early due to it kicking off in the next room which had nothing to do with our hired room and was an absolute disgrace as police got called due to people fighting which ended up outside with baseball bats ect... manager wasn't present and the woman who works on the bar had no idea what to do and was panicking. I wouldn't recommend anyone hiring the room here. I give 1 star as the room is nice but location and the people that go there are always out to cause trouble also no security which the place obviously needs. AVOID BOOKING!!!

Really lovely place to enjoy a few pints. Saturday night DJ is a bit to loud for a few elderly people in there, just needs to turn it down a bit. But place is really nice, pleasant and friendly. Perfect for parties etc

Had an event here, and the staff were professional and friendly. The venue was modern and clean.

Helpful staff. Pleasant atmosphere. A bit of a squeeze in the ladies toilets.

Function room is lovely,parking is limited and poor, there's a large covered smoking area, yet people decide to stand in front of the doors smoking. What also lets the llace down is that there is no baby changing facilities

Nice clean venue, staff were welcoming. We were there in the function room which is all on the ground floor with ramp access and large toilets. Big stage, dance floor and lots of seating for large parties. Reasonable priced bar. Bottle of wine, pint of guineas. J2o and two cokes for under £18.

Nice place for a party. Bar staff nice and prices ok. Would have liked to be able to get a Coffee as some of us have to drive.

Great little atmosphere, local friendly public house with a function room that will hold a fair few people.

Club as been taken over and is under new management, the complete premises as had a total refurb , it is so modern , spotless, management and staff are by far the best so friendly, helpful, entertainment every weekend, specials throughout the week , cheapest drinks in area can not fault the place , and will definitely be making it my regular, good luck to the new owners

Too average and ordinary setting , furniture was giving a dirty feel , the bar only accepts cash and seems like place is not looked after by the owners overall , many rooms of improvement required.

Quick note before this review, this is only constructive criticism upon the place and I don't not want to personally offend nor attack the owners. The pub is only okay; it is not the most welcoming of places, especially if you are not local there. Inside it is small but cosy, however the management and staff do not seem to make their customers feel welcome. In personal experience, I was told that I would be thrown out for having my own drink there, although it was for a medical reason. Bar staff tend to disappear a lot too and it's hard to get service there. Another complaint too is the lack of card machines there as well.

In serious need of a refurbishment and new seats in the function room. They are shabby and torn, not pleasant to look at at all

Went here for a party. Soft drinks over priced even though brought in multi packs. Bar staff didn't collect any glasses and was rude and grumpy

Went here for a children's disco , back room freezing cold ,not welcoming at all

The function room was of average size and the prices reasonable, unfortunately they ran out of a few items. A lack of forward planning on this facilities part, that's why it's only a 3 star posting.

Friendly bunch, comfortable surroundings , cheap beer sadly no sky sports.

With its fresh new decor, private bar in function room and friendly staff this little nugget is a lovely local place to hold any parties. The function room holds upto 250 and it has a stage too. You are free to do your own catering and bring in your own dj so no hidden extras there. All in all a bonus of a find.

Good karaoke but need management to sort out customers when drunk but good club

Fab club,Manager & staff. Friendly atmosphere & everyone is made welcome.Lovely room for hire for Weddings,christenings Birthdays etc.No 1 club in the area.

Staff are wicked! New manager has changed it for the better and it's better than all pubs in kingstanding! Best place to book a room and have as your new local as the atmosphere can't get any better. Always feel welcome!
