Fabulous service and brilliant pizza!

Something has changed... we always order via the website and collect. Have done for 10 years or so.. The last 3 times my California White has had no sauce on literally removing the one ingredient that makes it a California WHITE. All Deep Pan pizzas have been thin crust the last 2 times. Really disappointing as we absolutely rave about this place and recommend it to everyone. No more. 👎

Friendly lady working the tills 💯 atmosphere was not friends coming from the owner as he doesn't like photos which is suspicious today world full of cameras he dint let me take photos? But the food was good just the atmosphere will want to make you run away from this place. There use to people ordering through uber not in person so that's the atmosphere turns the experience into a not so friendly place? Staff talking loudly and not interested in talking to customers who go into this place is definitely rude. Spent £30 and dint even get a smile out of 1 person in this place makes me think is it worth going back NO chance.

Awful place, we ordered and the lady on the phone got our order wrong. When we called to complain the lady offered to deliver the missing pizza free of charge. When the driver arrived he wanted us to pay for the mistake that the lady had made. We was fuming, we called in to express our dissatisfaction and the owner answered and didn't even apologise. He said we was lying and he doesn't care if we don't order from there, ever again. Worst customer service and don't know the meaning of how to treat customers. This place needs trading standards to pay them a visit.

I ordered from here for years, but today will be the last, they send the wrong food out and the staff have bad attitude and are rude. They need to go get some customer service training and learn how to talk to their customers especially the owner 🙄

Don't waste your time ordering from here, unless you want the order to be completely wrong. I don't usually give bad reviews but the owner was extremely rude, poorly trained and tried to say that thats what I ordered, misleading, I know what I ordered. The workers (especially the owner) need training on taking the order correctly and how to speak to their customers.

Lovely staff, Lovely food and a very clean place which makes me want to continue to order from no1 pizza.

Food is always amazing, delivery is always fast, and sometimes when I pick up it’s promptly never waited longer then 10-20mins for the food, would highly recommend

Besides having a really varied menu, their pizzas 🍕 are truly outstanding. They do have a good website to help you decide. I went recently and ordered three different types of pizza's and each one had loads of toppings on. They tasted wonderful. The base sauce is applied without skimping, and pizza's were all piping hot. The lady behind the counter was friendly and helpful, and once the food was ready she asked if we wanted any dipping sauces. If you wish to order for home delivery, they had several drivers waiting ready to deliver, and while I was there as soon as orders were cooked, they were immediately sent out. If you are collecting, there are usually spaces available by Halesowen church, or you can use Andrew Road car park that is only a short walk away.

There is something wrong with the Grilled Chicken here, more likely spices used,..stomach bubling after 2h, and u can imagine the rest!! few of my friends had same issues with the Grilled Chicken..other than that they have nice Pizza..! I guess I will hv to avoid the Chicken..!

It has been a while since we had a takeaway pizza from here. We had been using one closer but not any more as the pizza's from here are superb. The staff were friendly and efficient, I went in and ordered over the counter, and despite them taking quite a few orders over the phone, mine was prepared immediately and piping hot. They certainly put loads of fillings on and cheese onto the pizzas, and the three we had (all different) were extremely tasty. From now on, this will be our go-to place for pizza. Well worth the extra distance for us to travel. They also do a delivery service, and while I was waiting, drivers were waiting for a short period of time and being given orders speedily to deliver.

This place is shocking, highly recommended you to stay away at all costs.Lets start off by saying how rude the staff are especially the old one with grey hairs who does he think he is.Everytime I order here it's so late and one time there was a fly in my burger and all the old man said was sorry not even a refund or a new burger. PLEASE STAY AWAY FOR HERE!!!!!

The pizza was nice although just abit extra sauces for me… however the customer service is not that good, rude and abrupt.

American tourist in town for a few days - best pizza I've ever had. I'm very picky generally and tend to find fault with most conventional pizza places, but the crust was perfectly crispy, the cheese was amazing and not too greasy, and it was the best pepporoni I've ever had. Highly recommend stopping in.

Very tasty Peri Peri Chicken wings better than elsewhere, I have been ordered quite a few times, always walk in and get the orders. Staff are friendly.

Rudest people I have ever seen. Especially one guy was answering the phone with grey beard. Customer service is rubbish, ridiculous and horrible. I entered the shop he even didn’t looked at my face. And didn’t asked me what do I want. I waited more than 10 minutes waiting him to ask me what do I get u. Anther customer came after me after long period I was waiting. He been served and asked but not me. Not the customer who was waiting first. The worst experience with customer service I have ever had.

Nice food made fresh when we went only drawback is there isn't parking if you just want to grab something to takeaway.

Only place I go for pizza. They have got my order wrong a couple of times but the taste is so good I don't mind.

Always order to collect an their pizza is the best I've eaten. It's so thick and cheesy with a great crust not to mention how large they are and affordably priced for such a small chain. I love their tandori chicken. great treat.

Food is nice actually, However - £4 for a single burger is kinda sad. Also a 15 minute wait for a £4 single burger is sad.

Great pizzas from here. I like my pizzas spicy and they can sort that out for me. They also do lots of sides, I usually have their peri peri wings which are also very good. You can buy burgers from here too but I haven't tried it yet. Great local pizza place, been coming here since they opened in 2003 and have no complaints. Highly recommended!

Been using No1 since it first came to Halesowen! Definitely the best pizza and Peri Peri chicken for miles! We wouldn't go anywhere else! They never disappoint. Everything is really good 😁⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The workers are so rude got the order wrong twice and made us pay extra for the food we didn’t order. They sent the food the second time to a different address and still got it wrong and ended up being cold and was even burnt. They even swore on the phone. NEVER ORDERING AGAIN. The staff don’t speak good English and they still made it out like we were in the wrong.

Absolutely disgusted I tried to order from these and because my house doesn’t have a door number they have refused to deliver to me? They told me there drivers insurance wouldn’t cover them knocking on my door because it hasn’t got a number 🤯 absolutely disgusted

The workers are very rude and don’t understand simple instructions, called in to request food for a certain time to find out when I got there it wasn’t ready and they told me it would be 5-10 mins I waited around 25 mins to find out they messed up on my order and only done half of the order very unprofessional

Always order the full chicken platter from this place.hands down best in the area puts Nando’s to shame and the portion size is crazy + quality is amazing.

No 1 pizza..... Pizzas are good..... peri peri chicken good (but hot is definitely hot 🔥) Stays open late, so good for a late night scoff.

VERY RUDE STAFF!!!!!!!! Today I went to get some food when ordering the staff really rude and he threw the change at me whilst he was on the phone but food was ok.

Quite possible most greasy food I've ever eaten , not quality or fresh , the cookie dough was disgusting and the pizza was literally dripping with grease

I have been ordering from here for delivery for 5+ years now and they give exceptional service imo. Food is always hot and tasty, delivery is pretty much always early and if not it’s on time. Very very happy with No1 pizza!!

I came in yesterday evening and I was shocked about the price of a chicken wrap on its own. It was £4 and i payed £2 in blackheath. I asked the man if I can have a chicken wrap with no mayo and tomatoes and he asked me if I wanted mayo twice after and I said no. He asked what flavour I would like my wrap to be and I said mild. When i got the food and was eating it, I gotta be honest it was nice but one thing that has annoyed me is that the wrap was really hot to the fact that my mouth was burning and my mouth started hurting. Never again

Saturday afternoon order of chicken and pizza. I was very impressed. Pizza was tasty and enjoyed. Chicken, lime and mango was beautiful to the point I have recommended the place already to family. Delivery driver went out his way and was prompt. Maybe as quiet time looking at reviews? I don't know but my experience is enough to repeat and recommend. And I never do that lightly.

A huge thank you to this brilliant, well organised, reasonably priced, amazing tasting pizza outlet. Coming from someone who has been ripped off many times by the typical pizza companies who simply do not deliver as well and as fresh as this one ! YUM you have my loyalty!

Very rude staff and customer service over phone. The man in charge is very rude he does not know how to speak to his customers, even their delivery drivers are rude they do not want to come out of their car to drop food they expect you to collect food from there car and the excuse they use is they not insured to deliver food to your door. Very disappointed with this shop will never recommend to anyone food is not good quality either you will always find the chickens feathers on the peri peri chicken.

This review is a month late. But upset me so much i need to write it. I've ordered a few times from no.1 in Halesowen. I live about 3 minutes away but every time it takes 1 to 2 hours to be delivered. The last occasion the food wasn't delivered at all and the guy on the phone was rude and didn't know anything. I ended up having toast. I used to like No.1 but ill never order from there again. I work full time as do most people we need reliability

Ordered half peri peri chicken and other food yesterday. I got home and just about to eat and realised a massive cooked fly on the peri peri chicken (you can't miss it). I called the store and spoke to the old guy who serves at the counter and advised him of the situation. He didn't believe me and asked me to bring it into the store...I live more than 3miles from the store and had to make a journey back to the store. Even when I got there he still didn't see it and I had to show him. All I was offered as an apology is a drink. Never ordering from there again.

5/5 - I have been a loyal customer for many years. Food is always delivered promptly and hot, pizzas are great with generous with toppings. Love the jalapeno poppers and also the peri chicken too. Give them a try!

Ordered online on New Years Day. Expected there to be a delay as a lot of people probably didn’t want to cook. How wrong was I? Even though there were messages to say there were high volumes of orders and delivery times would be impacted - the pizzas arrived within the estimated time. There are really good deals on the pizza and really good value as there is no crust. The toppings are right to the edge and really yummy pizzas. They do 8, 10, 12 and 16 inch pizzas so cater for everyone. We always order spicy vegetarian and family size and the pizzas were spot on. Definitely our favourite pizza place. Try it out.

The old chap at the counter asking people to wear masks in very horrible way but he is not wearing mask and no gloves he cook the food for people hygiene and he don’t know how to speak with costumers in politely way I not very happy with no1 pizza I spend roughly £60 weekly that’s his wages gone I think the owner needs to wake up from his sleep and get rid off him he doesn’t understand how much money he is losing because of that nasty man

The old man at the counter can't speak or understand English plus very very nasty person no respect for costumers what so ever I think the manager needs to do something about this other wise all your costumers will run of trust me.

This evening I ordered a collection from here because delivery was a long wait, on going to collect it the manager started waving me out the shop asking where my mask was I tried to explain I’m exempt he then asked for my proof which I hadn’t got with me, he said he couldn’t serve me then so I told him to throw my order in the bin . Thanks to this ignorant man I am now back home with my anxiety through the roof again. Myself and my family will never use this take away again.

Pizzas are wonderful from here! Chips are nice and not soggy. Chicken wings and strips are well flavoured. This is our go-to pizza place. 🙂

Had my first takeaway from here this evening, just moved 1 minute up the road & had my daughter round for a takeaway. Decided to collect although its only 1 min away from flat to make sure it was fresh etc..im fussy as I've run bars restaurants, chef patron etc for 23yrs but my daughter reccomended Number 1 Pizza so i thought yeah give it a go Take my word we received great service, given time to look at menus etc not harassed & then very clear friendly accurate order taken, watched the guys doing cooking & putting together orders in background, very impressed, definitely a well run kitchen with a good team ! told 15 mins so we popped to Asda for drinks, came back, collected & I've just got to say the food was brilliant 👏 pizza great, crispy fries, decent burger, very impressed & will visit again 👌 Andy

Have been ordering from no1 pizza for many years now and food has always been good, tasty and reasonably priced, only thing in more recent months the toppings on the pizza are very minimal and the chicken wings are usually overdone.

Charged twice and bought food twice

After quite a long time, I ordered 2 pizzas from here and it was nothing like our previous experiences. For one, the man on the phone, who later claimed to be manager when I spoke to him, was incredibly rude and ignorant for no reason at all. Then, there was the pizzas. Both pizzas were carelessly made, with the toppings thrown all over the place with no evenness either. The taste was horrible, and was nothing like the pizzas we had previously. I will never eat from here again; its a waste of money.

Ordered 4pizzas this evening. 3were ok but one pizza was cold and old, as if cooked inmorning and served in evening. When I phoned he was not willing to accept. Just said sorry and put the phone down abruptly. Not very impressed!!!

I know we are all dealing with a horrible time. But I ordered 2 hours ago and if they said I had to wait that long then fine. But they said an hour, so obviously we called as we have had past issues with halesowen branch. Shame as we treat ourselves once a week for many years. The way he spoke to my partner just was horrible.

Waited two hours for delivery. They had forgotten our order. I rang up to add to order as we were starving by now, man on the phone was very rude and said it’s on the way. It’s obviously not. Very sad as we ordered often. :(

At first i tried it was good in taste but after that always its average pizza more salty, overcooked or burned topping and cheese. Will give them another chance maybe they ll get back to their old taste. There is also parking problem to visit no.1 pizza.

Normally a really good service, but today ordered 2 pizzas and we was waiting and people came in after and ordered larger pizzas and chicken and got severed before us while are pizzas was sat on the top, was told when asked why we had to wait over 20 minutes while they was sat there that he was checking the order was right. The only difference was 1 didn't have tomato base didn't explain why they sat there for that long . Not impressed

Food is always good standard. The chicken has the best flavour. Definitely the best in Halesowen. The chilli sauce they made themselves was very nice. Not sure why they stopped selling it. Other than that. It’s good quality.

Cheap and cheerful, not the best pizza around but you get what you pay for. Reasonably quick to cook / deliver.

I've had pepperoni pizza from here a couple of times now and have really enjoyed it. Infact I'd go as far as to say I preferred it Dominoes which is much closer to where I live.
