The best place I've ever been to! I ordered two pizzas, and they were absolutely delicious. I got to meet the chef, and he was the kindest person I've ever met. I'm from Poland, and what surprised me the most was that he could also talk to me in Polish. I highly recommend this place—great food and plenty of seating Super miejsce ! Polecam

The food here is amazing especially the pizza and the fish n chips. The service here is amazingly good as tattoo (the guy serving us) asks if anything is wrong and might even giving it free if it was not done correctly but whilst the atmosphere isn’t like a 5 star restaurant it’s still one of the best

Very expensive for small portions. Sausages and curry were alright, but the chips were barely edible. Still raw on the inside but burnt on the outside. Gravy tasted of literally nothing. Service was fine and staff were polite.

Food absolutely disgusting, stale nan bread, kebab meat cold, stale & tough, paid £48 for kebab meat chips & nan ×3 ( 1 kids), fish fingers chips . 1 water, 1 j2o, 2 pints of fosters.asked for refund , owner was pretty embarrassed & had a go at cheif, only received £30 refund for food so was basically ripped off by being charged £18 for drinks. Kids ended up upset because waited ages for food only for it to be sent back , avoid at all costs, owner understandable, others need sacking , absolutely shocking

Evite a toda costa entró con mi pareja y me hubiera gustado simplemente haber salido, pero estábamos desesperados. La carne y el pescado ni siquiera sabían a comida real y sin mencionar que estaban fríos como piedras. Todo el lugar estaba sucio y mugriento cuando mirando por encima del mostrador no podía ni siquiera estómago para probar más que un bocado. En cuanto al personal, no tengo mucho que decir, todos parecen haber pasado una noche en la ciudad y se arrastraron al trabajo, fueron groseros, desaliñados y claramente no querían estar allí. Al dueño Nero no parecía importarle.

Horrible personal, comida horrible - orden 2 eglefino y 2 bacalao - nos repitieron orden - orden vino después de unos 35 minutos, estaba helado en la zona de estar y muy sucio - tuvimos una comida extra y cada uno era eglefino les informamos que pedimos 2 bacalao dijeron que no hacen bacalao - dijimos que nos repitió nuestra orden y tiene bacalao en el menú y dijeron que es un menú viejo - no comimos y les devolvimos la comida no consumida y pidieron un reembolso dijeron que no - así que ahora está con mi banco pidiendo un reembolso ya que era horrible - tuvimos que comprar pescado y patatas fritas de otro lugar - lugar horriblemente sucio - no comer allí ! ! ps le habría dado un - 0 si fuera posible

Decidió comer aquí, ya que parecía limpio y tranquilo, precio razonable, pero me temo que la comida decepcionante. Tardó 35 minutos en llegar nuestra comida que, teniendo en cuenta que no estaban tan ocupados, fue mucho tiempo, servido en platos fríos, lo que significa que el pescado y las patatas fritas pronto estaban fríos. Pescado pequeño pero no malo hasta que perdió calor y patatas fritas calientes por encima pero frías por debajo. Se comió el pescado pero no pudo comer las patatas fritas. La gente de otras mesas opinaba lo mismo y dejaba la mayor parte de su comida. Incluso las hamburguesas las dejó una familia. Huelga decir que este lugar tiene 2 estrellas y solo eso porque el pescado no era tan malo en el principio de lo contrario habría sido 1 estrella.

A free brekkie for two as part of our 55.00 Hotel room deal at niros hotel. Really good price, food was cooked perfectly and the cafe area at the back of the chippy was excellent can not fault anything.

The staff seemed nice enough, so I take no pleasure in leaving a bad review here. No menus on tables, and the menus above and behind behind the counter are inaccurate - more on that later. Four meals ordered, and they were stone cold - at least the two donner kebabs (no bread, just donner meat) and chips were literally cold. Practically inedible, though I did my level best having paid for it and was hungry. The taste wasn't bad, it was just freezing cold, but it's supposed to be served hot. The mother in laws' pie was like a brick, basically inedible. We did order gravy, but none came with the meal, even though we'd paid for it. Also, we ordered one lamb shish kebab salad and chips, and one lamb donner salad with chips. When the guy who served us at the counter and who also brought out the meals, I asked why he brought us two donners instead of one shish, he said they don't do shish, even though A) it says so on menu behind the counter, and B) he didn't bother to tell me this when I ordered, he just changed it to donner without mentioning or asking and he said I hadn't been charged any extra. That's bad enough in itself not saying anything until the meals arrived, but I wouldn't have minded all that much had the donner and chips been hot and edible, which they weren't. Is it too much to ask in this day and age for food to be of a reasonable quality? I know it's Blackpool, but something tells me it wasn't this bad even fifty-plus years ago. It's like a third world country.

Not a very good place to visit. Waited 25 minutes to be served, then waited a further 15 minutes for scampi and chips and sausage, cheesy chips and gravy! The gravy was cold and tasted absolutely disgusting. It was gritty, very salty and just vile. The staff were chewing gum whilst cooking and serving and it clearly showed they couldn’t cope with the demand of people waiting. Shout out to staff member Josh who was the only one trying to help and also apologising for everything. Won’t be going back again!!

A group of 6 for food placed order and although there was another 2 families also awaiting food it took 40 mins before being served our food with at least 10 mins intervals between the other 4. Then another 20 mins for another family. Very quiet place but think the service requires a little coaching on service. Overall waiting that long it seems as only chips pie peas and gravy. Microwave pie. Absolute joke as mentioned for service.

Very very good! There are literally hundreds of places to get fish and chips but we stumbled on this place. What a find. Very fresh and delicious. The curry sauce is outstanding.

Necesitaba un lugar para sentarse que tuviera una trona para niños y pudiera acomodar un cochecito doble, pero como se puede imaginar esto fue casi imposible desde el principio. Niro estaba muerto. No se veía ni un alma y esa fue la primera señal de advertencia que no escuchamos, pero al estar desesperados por alimentar a los niños, nos consolamos afuera y agarramos la única trona disponible. Los chips eran de ayer. La salsa de curry / salsa de salsa fueron del día anterior a eso. Aguada, mocosa y demasiado dulce era la salsa de curry. La salsa... bueno, no estoy seguro de que fuera salsa. Pagó £ 2 por una lata multipack de Irn - Bru. La comida tomó siglos a pesar de que solo estábamos nosotros allí. La única gracia salvadora fue que su nevera funcionó y el jugo estaba helado - muy necesario en un día tan cálido! Lo siento amigos, pero esta fue nuestra única y única visita!

Chips well over cooked, brown and crispy, real small portion too and fish slightly over cooked with dark brown batter. Asked to wrap it as going home as i got one arm and couldn't even wrap it right and was all opening before handing it me. I'm a local and this is worse fish and chips i've had in ages. DO NOT USE!!!!!!

Had the cod and chips. The batter was inedible and the cod was actually Pollock. The kalamari and squid were so hard you couldn't bite it and the chips looked like yesterday's chips. Also the restaurant was dirty and the toilets were disgusting. It was that bad that not even the cockroaches if they were there wouldn't even had eaten the food. So terrible that giving it a one is to good for this restaurant. If you are going to open a fish and chips restaurant please learn how to cook it.

Chips tasted like sand. The batter was yellow. Didn't even try the fish. To top it all off plastic cutlery and watery ketchup. Never going again.

Absolutely shocking!! We asked for 2x beef burgers with salad in. And they tried serving us salad buns instead. Must have thought we we were rabbits. And had to ask them to put the beef burgers in. And a handful of chips that wasn’t worth the money we had paid. Even the other customers got fed up of the customer service. And when we took our food back to the hotel. Found a piece of hair in our chips to top it off. Too pricy for the quality of food you get and portion size. Not worth it!! Always advise to check your food before leaving or don’t eat from here at all. We definitely won’t be back again!!!!!

Genuinely the worst chips I’ve ever had. Measly portions and the chips didn’t even taste cooked. Battered sausage was sub par at best. Est 2023? Judging by the ‘quality’ they won’t last long in 2024. Niros needs professional help. Urgently.

Title: "Niro's Nightmare: The Worst Fish and Chips Ever" Niro's, a quaint little fish and chips shop tucked away on a quiet street, had garnered a reputation for being the local go-to spot for a quick seafood fix. However, my visit there one gloomy evening turned into a culinary catastrophe. The minute I stepped inside Niro's, the pungent odor of stale oil hit me like a wave. Ignoring my initial reservations, I approached the counter and ordered their infamous fish and chips, with high hopes of a delicious meal. The "chef" - or so he claimed to be - threw a frozen fish fillet into a deep fryer bubbling with oil so dark it might as well have been motor oil. The fries were no better, appearing more like shriveled, lifeless twigs than the crispy potato goodness I had envisioned. After what felt like an eternity, my meal was served on a greasy tray. The fish was barely recognizable beneath its thick, overcooked batter, resembling a blackened meteorite more than anything edible. The first bite revealed a soggy, tasteless interior. It was like chewing on a wet sponge. The chips, if they could even be called that, were equally disappointing. Each bite sent a cascade of oil dribbling down my fingers. Their taste, or rather the lack of it, left me wondering if the potatoes had ever seen a pinch of salt. I attempted to salvage my meal with a dollop of ketchup, only to find that the condiment bottles were nearly empty, forcing me to shake them vigorously like a maraca to coax out a few drops. With every bite, I questioned how Niro's had earned its reputation. It was, without a doubt, the worst fish and chips experience I had ever endured. As I left, I couldn't help but wonder if the only thing fried at Niro's was the truth about their supposedly delectable fish and chips.

Absolutley shocking what they try to sell people. We ordered a kebab and chips along with chips and peas. £17.50. The kebab was a few chips and a bit of kebab meat, no salad, no bread, no sauce. The chips and peas, a few chips and freezing cold pea's. We went and got our money back. There is a chip shop in the next street who sold us the lot for £12.50 and it was a very decent take away. They seem to attempt to rip people off late at night expecting them to be drunk. I dont believe half of the reviews left on here are genuine. They dont reflect anything that we witnessed going on there. Be aware and check the food before leaving that it isnt the junk they tried to fob us off with. We wont ever be back.

We wanted to avoid the Mcdonalds as it was crowded. Just across there was that lovely fish and chips, we really enjoyed it.

We are into our fourth decade of visiting Blackpool as a family and when "doing the lights" finding somewhere to eat has sometimes been a bit of a challenge. We have in the past used outlets such as McDonald's and KFC when they have not been rammed with customers, had the "feed a family deal" in the arcades and even tried the ratburgers from street traders (not a good idea)! This time we fancied fish and chips, but when I mentioned the name of a nearby family snack bar a local friend advised me to avoid it at all costs. Luckily, my son had recently visited Niro's and led the way. (Literally round the corner from our first destination). Previous Blackpool experiences with fish were something akin to a fish finger sized piece of fish surrounded by a vast expanse of batter and grease. Not so with this piece of fish, which was finely coated (so it reeally was all fish), freshly cooked and most importantly very tasty. The chips were well cooked and well drained - not oozing with grease like many other Blackpool outlets. We do not get up to Blackpool as often as we used to, but when we do come we now know where we will be eating in the future!

Order Chips with cheese and chicks strips, got 4 burnt chicken strips and then got a decent size portion of the chips we sat down inside and it was an absolute TIP rubbish everywhere out vinegar on chips and it was full of flys. Absolutely disgusting needs closing down flys in red sauce and in vinegar
