Niko's Indian Takeaway & Chip Shop in Glasgow City

Place is a pigsty and unhygienic and the people are overweight and excessively oversweating and food is terrible hardly cooked properly some of it was raw as well

Unfortunately. My burger was burnt and so was the bun on the inside..these guy's have a large menu for the size of the place,with only 1 guy working. And their not to quick ,good job I wasn't in a rush..Ps felt rotten the next day..

Tandori sizzler pizza thin base , absolutely amazing

Placed an order through Uber, never arrived, called shop 41 times in tolal, to be told 1st time would check with driver and call back, still waiting , 2nd time answered and left just to listen to the convo in shop, shop is now closed £20 down and no food 2 hrs later, customer service is not first class. Place is a disgrace so if ur hungry after a hard day's work or the pub do not order from here.......

Absolute disgrace. Placed order which was anticipated at 35mins for delivery. 2hrs later, still no delivery. No reply to emails and phone rings out. Still showing as 35mins for delivery for new orders. Shocking service via Uber eats

Placed an order through just eat, waited for 2 hours since it said driver on way to finally say the order has arrived but it never arrived. Called and called and called the restaurant but no one answered. Absolutely pathetic

Would not even give 1 star phoned an order went along to pick up was told 5 minutes waited 25 and when he brought it out he tried charging £20 when it said on line and menu in shop 15.99 he said the menu is 3 year old told him to keep my order and walked out but glad anyway as the shop is really dirty wpuld not recomend any 1 going in ir for anything

Orderd a delivery only for driver to get lost ,i waited outside for an hour and he still couldnt manage to find.everyone else can manage so it cant be that hard.very dissapointing as it was late i didnt have time to go elsewere.

Ordered through just eat so money taken. nothing delivered and don't answer phones. Plenty other pizza places. Don't use this one.

Order 2 chips cheese and donner meat out this place and get £17 of ice cold rubber donner meat soggy chips and plastic cheese and a tub of red water meant to be sauce call them up to complain and get hit with next time you call I will give you 50% off as he's closing when he still has a hour and a half so say no thanks I'm reporting it to the health board to get offered everything cooked fresh and delivered in half an hour think even the fresh stuff is fit for the bin as it's just as bad as the first load especially when it took over an hour to get redelivered. Not the first time this has happened to me the time before I spend over £30 a thought it was just a one off but there you go it wasn't really disappointed and a waste of money. Never ordering from there again so choose wisely everyone

Business plan : lets open a shop in glesga even though we dont understand a word they say oh and deliver about an hour late aswell

Terrible service. Delivered the wrong items, told me they would call me back but never did; I chased them up and they asked if I could just let it go and they would give me the items the next time I ordered, as if I would order from there again. On top of that, the items that were correct were cold, the chips & cheese had almost no cheese, and the samosas tasted like burned pastry.

We use this Indian takeaway all the time .Won't be from now on .Just collected order. Reheated Rice as half of it was burnt underneath from being in the Microwave.Hardly any chicken in curries and what we did have was scrappy end bits.And I've had Punjabi Massala before nd never been a pale colour before .So no won't be using again.Really disappointed.Plus never organised and always have to wait longer for order.

Food never appears bonpoint veing open late accepting orders and giving updates when they have no intention of sending

I used to pass this on to people as the best Indian takeaway in the east end. I tried it after 1 year of staying away from takeaway during lockdown and the very first piece of chicken I grabbed with my fork had a long black hair on it. The nann bread had this super strong yeast taste on it that I've never tasted on nann bread before. I was even worried as I waited for the food as I watched 5 very sweaty guys in a roasting environment prepare food as one of them slapped garlic butter on to the nann bread with his hands after removing sweat from his head. I doubt this place would pass its next hygiene test and I'm ditching the food tonight straight away and giving it to my dogs.

Good for quick quality takeaway pizzas, kebabs, all sorts 👌🏻

Very slow , despite placing an order to collect still not ready 40 mins later , pick up the pace guys

Ordered a pizza meal deal and ended up with a patchwork quilt of cheese and broken dreams, called to let them know I want happy and was told to 'unfold it sweetheart' I dunno if the guys in the shop know that its oregano and not origami that goes with pizza. I was served what looks like the aborted remains of their box meal slice stack and given no other appeasement but guff patter. Thankfully it was ordered through JustEat and the refund is on it's way.. the aborted mess was lobbed as it looked like it had been handled more than any pizza should ever have been. Pizza nil point.. patter -10 points

Had a terrible sore stomach the day after I had a kebab fay there..

Used to like this place but it's went downhill big time ...won't be back

Placed an order through just eat and received an email confirming it was delivered at 11.55pm. Wasn't delivered and I went into shop today and the delivery driver said he did. Told them he was a liar and they refused to give me my money back. Used this shop often but never again. Robbed for £16.50.

Ordered chips and cheese burger... The chips ok.. the burger was the most disgusting I ever tasted.. only one bite.. I was gagging almost sick trying to take a second bite.. the next day.. I had a very very bad tummy.. I won't ever be going back. First and last ever time .. I consider ordering from these cowboys.. manky dirty shop

Phoned takeaway at 625pm tonight told 45mins phoned back at 730pm was told on it's way then phoned back again at 755pm to be told couldn't find order and then said they delivered it to someone else altering being told at 730 it was on it's way waiting 1hr amd half for a takeaway to be told they would make it again at 8oclock

Very fresh and very good food! Specuial Curries are just amazing! And plz be carefull if order full portion, maybe for a first time asked for half/half.

had a disgusting meal from Niko's tonight. All three dishes had the same completely bland sauce should have been chicken jaipuri lamb madras and spicey mushrooms. No taste in any of them and the lamb was tuff if it was lamb £ 30 wasted. Won't be back. you just can't beat the delhi darbar for excellent taste and value.

First time customer and I will use again. Food was very tasty, premises clean and staff friendly and helpful, well done

SHOCKING!!!!! Been a regular customer for over 1 year,didn't recieve the correct order and all i got was excuses when i phoned up to complain,the guy who answered the phone didnt care at all(very ignorant) and not even a sorry.WILL NEVER USE THIS PLACE AGAIN!!

Great selection of Indian, pizza, kebabs and European.

Food freshly made when you order and you can taste the difference. Staff friendly. Not just Indian food but kebabs and chippy as well.

G G Great service, absolutely disgusting food. Had chicken pakora last night and whatever it was it was not chicken. Seemed to be like what's in pies, Bridie's etc from Gregg's. Like a composite of chicken bits crushed into a goo Absolutely disgusting. At a fiver a pop ? Not happy. Sort it out!

Just ordered from Niko's for the first time. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. Delivered when they said they would. Very impressed would be ordering from them again.
