The food was disgustingly horrible, fish supper & smoked sausage supper £19 + had to bin the food soggy smoked sausage burnt ,chips like frozen chips and tasteless the place should be shut down total disgrace for an Italian chippy avoid don’t waste your money 👎🏻😫

I got myself a pizza "crunch" yesterday night, that was the most horrible thing I've eaten in a big while. Soggy, greasy in the most unpleasant way possibly, clearly cooked in rancid oil. Avoid!

Went in for 2 sausage suppers after a busy day shopping, what a mistake! I've never in my life ate a sausage supper so disgusting in my life, the batter was hard and chewy with a horrible aftertaste, most likely very old oil. Chips tasted like they'd been steeped in water overnight rather than freshly hipped that day. 2 sausage suppers and 2 cans of coke were just shy of £20, £20 that could have got a much better quality meal elsewhere in the town. Avoid at all costs, Glasgow has much much better to offer.

Visited after a day at Trnsmt Frstuval for some late night food. Menu seemed impressive for such a small place. We ordered 10” margarita 10” pepperoni 12” dinner kebab pizza 2 garlic sauce and portion of chips £38.70. At first the service seemed fast and organised we had to wait for the food which wasn’t a problem as it wasn’t a long wait. We took our food back to our hotel to find 10” dinner kebab pizza a 10” pepperoni pizza and 12” Margarita. The dinner meat pizza even though it was the wrong size had very little meat on the pepperoni was so spicy it was unwearable the garlic sauce was so thin and so strong again unbeatable. The chips were hard so they too went in the bin. All in all not pleasing at all very disappointed for the price paid. Also as we were sat waiting for our terrible food we noticed that the TV above the counter did not look like it had seem a duster for 10 years the dust was just waiting to drop

Disgusting place. Man on chips had no uniform on and sweating like hell over the fryer, £11 for a sausage super and can. Also noticed the place was extremely dirty and hygeine rating shows improvement needed. Avoid at all costs. Binned my food

I ordered a steak pie supper but was served something from another world. True, the sagging pie did contain some meat but had more fat and gristle, but what passed for chips was nothing more than a greasy congealed sludge. The supplied "fork" couldn't pick any of it up as it just slid through the slop. Charging £8.75 for that is verging on criminal - I wouldn't feed it to a dog.

Gadz! Veg pakora was a stranger to vegetables. It was a spicey donut of flour. About 15 chips to go with it. It's basically a captive audience for hungry drunks. Avoid as over priced and not good quality. I'm sure there must be something decent on their menu but it's certainly not this

Avoid this place at all costs. Last minute decision to go here. It always used to sell lovely food which was piping hot. Not anymore. £15 for a black pudding supper and a single haggis, both of which were disgusting. Black pudding raw in the middle. Haggis tasted like greasy rubber. Both went in the bin. Truly awful.

i ordered a fish and chips and the man serving me immediately stormed off in a huff muttering to himself and when i managed to order again from another member of staff they repeatedly asked if i wanted chips with my fish and i said yes everytime (and paid for fish and chips) and im sure as you can guess by the time i sat down and opened the box there were no chips lol literally useless don’t bother wasting your money

Went with a friend for black pudding supper , jokingly said £10 would not be enough, actual price was £9.50. Food was ok but not a great portion of chips, massively overpriced compared to other nearby chip shops charging £6.20 for the same. Just went as we used to go there years ago but will not be back, every one who went to the counter had a sharp intake of breath at the price, absolutely scandalous give it a wide berth unless you are a lottery winner.

DON’T GO HERE! DISGUSTING! Omg if I could give no stars I would! £10.90 for a cold fish supper. Fish had to be at least an hour old, the fish was a grey/brown colour. Chips were burnt and dried out. We were running for a train or would of brought it back, straight in the bin it went. They must prey on people coming from nights out and especially now that it’s Christmas. AVOID Got a simple sausage supper after waiting 15 minutes. Not even that busy just slow service. £11.35 for a supper and juice is outrageous. When I got it there was hardly any chips and look warm at best and the cherry on top was the METAL FRAGMENT in among the chips. Not sure what it was from but it was thick metal coil or something. Will never be back

Despite the price being maybe £1-2 more than you would want or expect, If you are looking for something to eat on a night out and not super fussy or stubborn where to go and not botherd about quality then go here. Granted a lot of reviews on here make this place sound super horrible but remember there is a 70-92% chance you are going to be wanting to go when you are a little tipsy and need to sober up so dont be too bad about it

Last night I got a black pudding supper, it was the worst supper I've ever had, it was cold and there was a long hair wrapped round the chips, it was as if the chips and the black pudding had been there all afternoon, I went in around 7pm. I went back to complain but the guy was so rude this is why I'm writing this review. I go in there alot in the morning around 6am for a roll n sausage which is always great and the lovely ladies who work there are always so nice. I am very disappointed and would not recommend at all.

OMG! The owner and her employee are out of this world. It was raining, I was cold and walked out of a cafe, coz they didn't do smoked bacon, on a £6 roll and straight Into this place. £3.50 for a med size butty and a fritter. Whoxh was amazing. She said I could sit in, to which I was grateful. She then offered me a cup of coffee. And, I was flabbergasted. 🤣😀 this never happens to me anywhere, unless you're buying it. I said yes, obviously, cause I am a coffee lover. I sat at the window with my med chip butty and fritter, (which was more like a large btw) and ma cuppa! An actual real cup, no a plastic one, We all had a cuppa and a blether, I felt great, but I couldn't believe the hospitality. It was awesome. I totally love these people, and this place it. It made my day. Honestly, only a free cuppa, I know, but this just doesn't happen to me. I was so happy, warm, and full of energy when I left 20 mins later. I'll probably go every time I am in glasgow and hungry. Not only was excellent value for money but amazingly nice Italian owner and her glasgewgain employee. I just love them!

My partner brought me a sausage supper up to hospital and got himself one was 18 pounds and it's disgusting dripping with grease the sausage is cheap and the chips are not even like chippy chips so minging don't even know how they get away with it should be shut down

The title says it all, it did the job. Not the worst kebab in the world but by far not the best. Fast food in Glasgow city centre is very, very hit and miss.

When I used to come here for pizzas in the 1990s, they were delicious. Now, Pizza Crolla is more of a fish & chips belly-filler for the late night Glasgow crowd. Plus the odd tourist seeking a deep-fried Mars Bar (yes, they’re on the menu). So don’t come here expecting anything too delicious. At least the service is machine-gun fast… handy when you’re running for a train from Queen Street. Does the job.

To charge what they charge and pass this off as fit for human consumption is incredible. I had been warned not to use this place but as I had used it many years ago and quite enjoyed I thought it couldn't be that bad....... Well it was. The medium chips and curry is over a fiver and the undercooked tasteless single haggis just under a fiver. The bottle of coke was also overpriced. £12.95 ish for most of it to be binned. This is what you need. Great service from the greatest guys in town and the juicy chicken to kill for. We got there with expectation but these guys turned that around by being prowd about the quality of their product. The chicken needed 5 more minutes on the grill so we waited and got the good stuff. The chef had lived in Norway and was the kindest man on The Planet. Just get some!

One star as it's as low as I can give them! This used to and I repeat used to be the greatest chip shop in the city centre. Not anymore!! I ordered a pizza crunch and chips with a can of iron bru which came to £10.10. It was not a full pizza it was only half of the pizza. Pizza had no flavour to it, none what so ever. Yes I know it's a battered pizza but other places even this place used to do them and you could still taste the pizza. The chips 🤮🤮 the tasted like fish so clearly they use the same oil for the chips as they do with everything else. I don't like fish and I am sure that vegetarians would also not like their chips to taste of fish. I could not finish it and offered it to a homeless person who asked me wear it was from and they refused it when it told them. Ok that last part never happened but I could not eat it and it went in the bin but the iron bru was nice and cold.

The chips are a solid classic, but £8.90 for fish and chips (careful when you order 'fish' - it days 5.90 as the price but with chips is 'supper' for 8.90) is a crazy price for the low quality fish you get, have had much better at other chippies. You get it cheaper if you order the fish & then chips separately. Chips are good though, but wouldn't really recommend much else.

I cant eat out due to an allergy so a chippy is one of the few places I can but this place is stingy with servings and most iof the potatoes were bad. After a long afternoon I was very disappointed to find I had mostly bad chips. The potatoes did not taste right very bland. Its also very expensive but England has much better chippys and prices are very good.

Our last night in Glasgow and we had,had a few drinks but really needed a snack. Found this place close to our hotel, ordered just chips and ate them in the street. They were amazing, fresh cooked, hot with lots of salt and vinegar, gourmet food at its best !!
