Night Star in South Lanarkshire

Loved the Night Star under previous owners, not least because they were a nice family . This was my first time I have tried Night Star since new owners took over and pleased to say food was great. Fish my wife and mother-in-law had was perfect and generous and chips were lovely. I had black pudding which was also great, batter was just right and pudding was savoury and tasty. Daughter had a donner which was also great. Guy serving was also friendly and gave me a sample of the donner while I was waiting. Will definitely be back.

Hi there this is night star Cambuslang . Sorry for your bad experience . If you have had a problem please call the shop and ask for the manager. . If you had a delivery you are always asked if you want salt and vinegar on your chips etc. if you say you don’t then they will not put any on. Hope this explains your comment you left on our review. We take pride in our customer service. And always try to rectify any mistakes on our side. Thanks again .

Can’t believe am writing this never in my life have me or my family had a bad order from night start the food was absolutely delicious when danato and his family ran it? But since it’s been taken over by new people the food has gone down hill wee just order something for dinner tonight and it was tasteless no salt and vinegar on anything even low wee asked for it? And this isn’t the first time? 😟😟

I have used this place for many years and seldom disappointed. Recent ownership change is not good. Had a delivery last night which was very poor quality and tasted although the cooking oil was well beyond needing changed. I won’t be using it again and have advised other family members and friends to go elsewhere. Disgusting.

Honestly cannot begin to explain how far downhill this place has gone. Been a loyal customer for 30 years and that has been completely undone within a matter of weeks. Used to be the best pizza in Cambuslang, tonight’s was undercooked, cheese was hard and sauce was bland and unforgettable. Was the same last week, thought would give it another chance but wish I hadn’t. Whole thing went in the bin. Unfortunately won’t be back, sadly miss the traditional recipes.

Just ordered a large fish supper from Night Star and once again, the fish was simply OUTSTANDING! I had barely put the phone down when our delivery arrived - delivery time EXCELLENT. Love this place, the service and of course, the food! 👌

Staff extremely rude, unwilling to accommodate, unpersonable and have absolutely no manners. Food overpriced, although good quality. Paltry portions. The staff were dreadful. Will never go there again due to how rude they were. Avoid!!!!

Owner gave me a trial shift an hour later he told me i wasnt good enough. I dont understand how you can judge someone's work ethic within an hour would never go near the place again

Lived in Cambuslang for 5 yrs but only just tried this place. Way better than the other chippys nearby. Special fish was lovely.

Excellent Service and Staff, The Cleanest Food outlet I've been in and Their Food is delicious, always eager to please their Customers. The Home delivery Service is second to none. I recommend them to everyone and I can honestly say that I have always had excellent meals from them. A 5 Star Establishment.
