Hidden gem of Larkhall.....food is tremendous, staff are the friendliest you could ever find.....and the Peroni on draught is the best pint in ML9 👌

I used to love this place the staff are fantastic the 2 guys are a good laugh and the lady's are always nice, sadly all takes is one bad meal I got mine few mnts ago how do u screw up chips, 1st time I've tasted reheats in your store sadly I put me off for very long time, you always made fresh chips but today they were defo re heated u get that not nice flavour and texture, that's why I don't get fish. Damn from me was such a good chippy there too

Only recently moved to Larkhall and have used Mama Mia as our local “Chippy” for takeaways and sit in food. The special fish, chips, pizza and pasta are all superb. Wouldn’t go anywhere else if you want good food and service – top marks.

Just tried this place for first time but definitely won't be using it again got a special fish supper delivered was absolutely disgusting half the chips were scraps and the fish was definitely off could smell the fish before a took it out the bag which shouldn't happen and it was cold ate some chips but definitely didn't eat the fish sorry but don't want food poising a put it in the bin

Amazing food, best chip/rump steak I've had from a chippy. Will be going back to try more from the menu.

Got a delivery and the chips were rock solid, can tell they weren’t fresh as the food arrived earlier than expected.

Tried last week for the first time in ages since new owners have taken over absolutely amazing pizza and staff are very helpful food was quick to get made..overall. Great place for food recommended the oven baked pizza and pasta. I can't fault excellent..5 star's

Special fish supper was lovely, but the chicken breast supper was out of this world. I have only had one that was on a par with yours, that was the chippy in Cupar Fife. Very moist and tasty. Well done!

Walked in for a bag of chips and waited. 20 minutes they were too busy accommodating just eat delivery’s. Chips should be ready to just leave. Won’t be back or use your delivery service again.

Food is excellent and we loved the Tuesday and Thursday two-for-one deals until we visited recently and were told that we had to pay cash to get the deal. Luckily I had enough on me to pay for my order but it cleared me out as I only keep cash for emergencies. I appreciate that card transactions include a fee that the business gets charged but not being able to use a card to pay is a showstopper for a lot of people. Will miss the great food but we won't be back while until we can pay by card.

I ordered a special fish supper and a fish supper. We didn’t enjoy it at all… the chips tasted awful as they had a really fatty used oil aftertaste …. We’ve ordered from Mama Mia many times before and always been fab… for the price of a fish supper these days you expect better ….time to change the oil folks !

The stone baked pizzas are the absolute goat. Unbeatable. 10/10. 5 star. Classss

I love MamaMia's food. The pizzas are crispy and delicious. The fish and chips are not oily at all and are the best I have tasted. Deliveries are on time

The Pizzas are up there with the best I've had. Eat here often and the pizza is consistently good. Good quality ingredients also chickens goo quality (not that rubbery stuff that you can sometimes get on pizzas) great pasta too!

Busy but I suspect it's because the other chip shop was shut. Food good.

Contact page doesn't work, so no chance of leaving feedback. Food very tasty, but x 2 now cold on delivery. If they sorted out the delivery, as in delivering warm food, it would be 5 stars. The issue with not being able to leave a message is back firing on you, as i was wasn't going to leave a review, but no other way of contacting you to inform you of the cold pizza.

Just got a fish supper delivered chips were cold and all wee bits as if they,ve just cleared the machine, fish was disgusting. Usually nice out of there but that's a couple that's not been good looking for a new place 😫

So if you want to order food. Order in advance was told 35 mins turn out was a hour and food was cold after speaking to staff. They made it like it was my fault Because I took a bit of the food. They said they couldn’t give me a refund for it Had to go to restraunt as they said they would take an additional hour to come collevt food amd provide refund

We had takeaway pizza it was fab.

Just got a take away from here for the first time in a while and it was brilliant. The girls got pasta and it was delicious and the chips and everything else was a treat. Definitely be back soon.

One of the best fast food restaurants in Larkhall and the staff are exceptionally friendly.

Tried pizza before and that was well good. Lately fell in love with fritters, they are bomb! The best ever! Great potato, crispy batter - perfection!

Fish supper excellent 2 huge fish and plenty of chips.

Turned up off the cuff with a dozen other bikers, was offered sit in meals in the restaurant side to get out the heat outside. Fantastic service with even better food. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Mamma Mia is a lovely fish shop in our town.They also do.pasta dishes pizzas and lots more.We went on Thursday as its buy one get 2 so we had a lovely carbonarra pasta and choose a lasange for free.They were both delicious.They are cooked fresh in shop.The staff are very efficient and friendly. I'd recommend a visit there.

First time at the place. Had a sit in meal. It was very busy as there was a walk on in Larkhall. Had the small fish meal but still couldn't eat it all. Big portions and was very cheap. The meal was lovely. Will defo be back. The service was good and the waitress was very nice. If in the area should try it.

Wife just returned from here with fish , black puddng etc , first thing I noticed was the batter was uncooked...it was still white , that was on both the fish and black pudding, no grease proof paper on the fish and enough grease on both to keep a truck wheel turning for a month, this used to be a place I could never fault so I hope the woman there had an off day

Was in yesterday 2 pizzas and a fish supper . I don't know if new owners or that but what a difference fresh fish and 2 cracking pizzas . I'll certainly be back again . And I was put off with a couple bad meals a long while back .

Most authentic proper pizza in Larkhall. Pizza base, sauce etc made in house, you can tell the difference at first bite. No bought in rubbery tasteless bases like the other takeaways. Obviously a place that wants to give their customers proper pizza using their own fresh ingredients. Why would anyone want to eat the bought in mass produced bases and sauce that the other places sell when you have proper pizza makers in the same town? Delishis pizza at the right price, keep up the authenticity guys!

Great food reasonably priced good variety to choose from there is also a seated sit in section with tables and chairs waiter service good service very clean nice helpful polite staff reccomend

Got a single special fish from here and every single mouthful was full of bones, i know there will still be 1 or 2 bones in a fish but this was every mouthful i had till i had to eventually put it in the bin

Went here 2 weeks ago with friends who recommended it....Wow! was brilliant...food,service cleanliness and waiter fab! I had breaded haddock with frites and salad..delicious and piping hot. My amigos opted for the home made Mac n cheese...to die for!...Even better ,we brought our own booze!!!..allowed! Give this place a try,you wont be disappointed!
