Nidos in Stockton-on-Tees

been here a few times now for pizza and kebabs,they were spot on,the mixed kebab is amazing and the chilli sauce is great.The staff are very friendly and always busy,this is our go to takeaway now.Once we find a good place we are loyal to them

Waited over a hour 1 hour 40 came like warm and not even the correct food I had ordered.Will never use them again and always used them in the past.I did not even order a kebab.

Excellent takeout last night. Food delivered very hot. Chicken kebab and pitta bread, all fresh and good quality, vegetarian pizza very moist and again quality ingredients.

Pizza/Doner meat/wedges/curly fries and creamed cabbage - all spot on. Cooked to perfection - you simply don’t get better - since moving it had been a while since we had anything from here but we’re glad we got family to pick one up on their way over here.

Ordered a pizza waited over half an hour reasked me what I ordered then gave me a cold pizza very dissapointed

Takeaway looked lovely when it arrived. The pizza and garlic bread did look greasy but we're nice. The parmo looked lovely but after cutting in to it the chicken looked grey. This was very off putting. I have heard good things of here but this was disappointing.

Just had a mixed kabab and must say that it was done to perfection, it tasted nice, it was hot and delivery took no time at all. You know when you order from Dido`s its going to be a clean plate ov food. Cheers lads.

Becareful when ordering a Chicken Parmo from Didos, we were shocked to find the food contained bone. Called to complain: 1 hour later cold replacement arrived - following change of ownership food quality has gone downhill- would not recommend.

Sadly after years of using this takeaway, after last nights order, it will be my last. Food arrived, pizza cold, chips cold, chicken cold. Surely it cant be difficult to get a customers order to them at a decent temperature especially when you live on the same estate. I've had many a great takeaway from here but of late, very hit and miss, more times miss.

Chips were half cooked, Order was not what I ordered when I got home and premises look dirty inside, so overall not a pleasant experience. Won’t be returning.

Having relocated to the north east I was advised to sample the local specialty, namely a “Parma” or to give it the correct name, a Parmisan It’s like a Pizza but on either breaded chicken or pork covered in cheese then you add the toppings of your choice I’ve only sampled the chicken to date but it was very tasty and something I will eat again Never seen this anywhere else in the country and I’m told it is one if the local delicacies

We ordered our usual through the online site and paid via card. Almost an hour passes and no sign so we rang the shop. The lad on the phone said it was on it's way and would arrive within ten minutes. 20 minutes pass and it finally arrived. The wedges were not cooked thoroughly and nor were the pizzas. The only positive was how polite the lad on the phone was. Highly disappointed.

Never had a parmo and being a local girl thought it time I tried this north eastern delight. Well if you’re worried about having a coronary attack then look away as this is not the dish for you! As a one off treat though, it was delish and a nice experience. We recommend from the best place - Dido’s Pizzaria.

Thats my view and i've ate a lot of pizza. always busy, always friendly you wont get a bad meal from here

Fast service and great pizza. Good crisp base and fresh tasting tomato in the base sauce. Thoroughly recommend the Bolognese - and tastes good the day after too!

By a long shot the best garlic and chilli sauce in the area. Love the pizza from here always fresh my eldest loves it. The mixed kebab is that big you can share between 2.

Our family favourite- best takeaway for miles around- you must try the chicken kebab - grilled chicken in a pitta with salad and the best chilli sauce and garlic sauce.

Esta es la mejor tienda de pizza en Ingleby Barwick, que es un buen logro, ya tiene dos de las Ingleby mejor, Dido y Mario. Nunca he tenido una mala para llevar de Dido, y su parmo son el mejor incluso conseguir 5 estrellas de Hunters parmo.

Really bad communication skills, ring order in to pick up, and when I get there my order is invisible, they make order while I wait and then when I get home it's not what I ordered, won't be using them again. One unhappy customer

This place is just awesome, the best parmo and best chilli amd garlic sauce EVER. Forever consist, the pizza's are epic too.

The shame about this place is that they dont deliver. However they dont need to! Its awesome. They are well worth the money. Garlic sauce is gorgeous and every pizza ive had are quality. Even the ones I've asked to make up are always tasty

Just opted for a Margarita and a tub of garlic. Was nicely cooked and I enjoyed it. The the 3 pizza spots in Ingleby it's true bat I've had.

A good clean friendly take a way. Good for Pizzas and Parmos with very friendly staff and good cheap prices.

Venga a nidos, por lo menos una vez por semana y nunca he tenido una mala pizza o parmo. La esposa le encanta su chili chapuzón y algunas veces me envía en sólo para algunos. El dueño es muy amable y siempre charlas si no está ocupado. El mejor lugar de pizza en Ingleby.

Llegamos en nidos, y pedí un pollo parmesano regular. Voy a ser sincero, el servicio era rápido que me llenó con preocupación pidiendo "" pollo fresco.

My only complaint is I couldn't finish it all. (To full) best in Stockton fresh food good portion size. Wouldn't go any where else :0)

Recently went to Nido's, never been before. The chips were really nice and pizza had a good amount of topping. The donna meat wasn't the best i have had, maybe a little too thick. But overall a nice takeway. I would go again.

We tend to go here because it's close but it's also good. Always busy which tells you something and quite of food is good. Standard stuff really.

Parmos are massive but tasteless! Pizzas are great but the donner meat is cut far too thick! Quick service and the owner (Baker) is a nice guy.

Teesside is awash with take-away pizza places. In fact, it's literally brimming with them and the quality varies incredibly from one to the next. For reasons I've never quite got, people seem to be rather more tolerant of a low quality take-away than they would ever be of a restaurant. Perhaps it's because we're not spending as much, so don't expect a similar quality of product. Perhaps it's because we're prepared to make do with a lesser product if we're getting it quickly and it's from somewhere that's conveniently close. Never understood that one. I digress.I'd been past Nido's a thousand times or more and never given it much of a look, but then a friend mentioned that they did a killer chicken parmesan. This was like a red rag to a bull, as a decent take-away parmo is something I've spent some time looking for, but have generally struggled to find. In fact, quite often I'd find that the parmo I'd ordered actually resembled something that you'd scraped up off the floor. Based on this, I didn't have much in the way of expectations from Nidos, but in the interests of science and all that.So we'll cut to the chase, because the parmo is absolutely first rate. Absolutely. Constructed from what appears to be a very good piece of chicken breast, it was topped with about the right amount of bechamel sauce and plenty of cheese with lots of flavour. I've never been let down in any of my numerous visits and have converted many a parmo fan to Nido's take on the theme. Size-wise, a half is a pretty good size, with the full parmo reserved for those occasions where I'd normally eat a horse, but don't happen to have one to hand. All are supplied with nice chips (hurray!) and some salad (boo!) which I tend to decline, although they're quick to offer some garlic mayonnaise as a salad substitute (hurray again!).Of course, it would be a bit one-sided if I only mentioned the parmos, because they also happen to do a good range of pizzas which I've also tried. Bases are of the deep pan variety, so fans of thin and crispy will need to look elsewhere, but are well made and the toppings appear to be of a good quality and have plenty of flavour. The chips are excellent and the portions of potato wedges are also lovely; slightly spicy, served with lots of garlic mayonnaise and very generous portions.Overall, I can't rate this place highly enough for its parmo and the pizzas are also rather good. The usual array of kebabs and burgers are also on offer, although I've tried none of them, so can't pass judgement. There's plenty of free parking immediately outside the shop and, overall, it represents excellent value for money and is streets ahead of most of the other establishments in the area.
