This place is magical! Not only is this an excellent tea house that celebrates the ritual of tea drinking, they have an immense choice of teas and the food is outstanding. Highly recommend the chicken/tofu curry, garlic mushrooms and dumplings.

Ni Hao teahouse ís a lovely place to meet and talk with friends. The atmosphere is tranquil and calming - a great contrast to the frenetic Eldon Square shopping centre nearby. The couple who run it are quietly friendly, and food is unpretentious and good & and everything seems to be made to order. Like it's predecessor - Tea Sutra - Ni Hao has an incredible variety of tea. We had Pu'er tea, a spicy chai, and ... a coffee, all served stylishly in appropriate pots - with a sandglass timer for the Pu'er. Lunch was wonton soup - simple & excellent. A really nice experience. Thanks Ni Hao

This is a wonderful oasis of calm and quality in the very heart of Newcastle. A large selection of Teas and foods served beautifully at a reasonable price. Go there , but don't tell anybody.

The service was very good and the Peking duck was so authentic. It made me feel like I was back in China for a moment.
