Tiny portions cold food sends food two hours late with NO sauce! Calls to complain the boss said what do I mean no sauce. No sauce means no sauce right? so he said return the food a I’ll get money back? After waiting two hours for my food to be then faced with the most rude threatening customer service I’ve ever experienced was not what I wanted on my Friday night! Ridiculous don’t waste your time or money.

Have ordered a few times recently, very happy with the food and pre selected delivery times. Highlights from the menu include the Kofte wrap and the double chicken burger

Newport Grill food is absolutely lush.Never in the 6years I been having take away from them have the food been a disappointment.Always tasty no food missing,fair play it’s the best.

Just ordered a meal and being first time customer you would had thought they would make a effort, my god, food arrived, minus the chips they should had come with, the food well I've seen better food served to a dog, food just thrown in a box the bread stale, meat what meat, never in my live have I seen food like this what a disgrace to present food like this .once bitten twice neaver to use this company again they need a kick up the back side both in presentation and quality of the food, so if you want to throw your money away then book a meal from them 😒😒

Great kebab & service from the young lad running the till. The only thing they need to change is start serving burger sauce!

The food was poorly presented and rushed. If had to rate this it would be 0. But as you know you have to rate to post. The term " cheap as chips "doesn't apply here. Ordered Lamb Shish Kebab didn't wanted pitta bread but chips instead and they complied. Take note this is common food in Newport people. The chips could easily be counted in the box, terrible, the 3 meagre jalapeño peppers appeared like they still need to be grown, the 2 bits of end tomatoes was an insult to be sold and served. The COVID19 is not to be blamed for this meagre food sold. The meat could have been better portioned. I could have gotten more value for my money from KFC or Beechwood Kebab and Grill on Chepstow Road. The chips are not counted there. I would encourage people to go there as you get better value for your money, especially if you have to work overnight for it. I will stick to them from henceforth.

The takeaway we got wasn't good. They put everything in the same box, so it was all mixed up. The mixed kebab had too much sauce and salad, and even the bread was squished in there. The pizza wasn't great either; it didn't have much peri peri topping. They need to be more careful with how they prepare and deliver the food. My kids didn't want to eat it because it looked messy. We were really disappointed.

We are regular customers of Newport Grill. We love the food quality, taste and delivery times. As we are busy with our business, we often have deliveries to our work premises, and other times to our home address. Neither are a problem for them. We order through their website, and we've never had a problem to date. Friendly people and always satisfied. We will continue to be loyal customers - thank you Newport Grill team :)

Ordered at 19.00 turned up 2 hours later freezing cold will never use again rung to complain and all they said was I’ll let the manager know, and £30 pound later so not cheap

Decent enough little takeaway. Little bit overpriced I thought for the basic menu but the food was prepared in front of us and wasn't bad at all. The hot spicy wings weren't spicy to my taste but we're pull off the bone cooked precisely as they should. The chicken kebab was loaded with chicken and although it was a little greasy, it was also quite delicious. The spicy chilli sauce was more of a pizza base style rather than a kebab style chilli sauce. All in all if you drop into that part of town and fancy a bite it's decent enough for a quick fix

Order from here regularly and have done for a long time but after tonight I doubt I will order from here again. 9:10 I ordered. Was contacted at 22:11 to say there was something happening on malpas road so will be a bit late. 22:55 almost 2 hours after ordering it arrived stone cold. If we weren't so hungry and didn't have work early tomorrow we wouldn't have had it and asked for hot food. Shocking tonight!

Good food really poor delivery, driver went to the other side of Newport to the wrong house even after we clearly displayed the address so our food was in his car for over half an hour getting cold. Used to order from here frequently but will be stopping after this incident.

Went to this shop the other day and me and my partner were discriminated because im deaf and blind and my partner is blind and has speaking problems and also my partner was really ill and he still is attude is disgusting and also we will never be going there again

I’ve been eating at Newport Grill for nearly 4 years now, food is always good, decent prices and free delivery on their website over £10 too (avoid Just Eat etc as they charge for delivery and service charge.

Order a large mix doner and a mix doner wrap. Wrap tasted awful and tasted stale, the large mix doner was the same the pitta was stale and the delivery driver was rude

Food was not even cooked and I am pregnant I rang them to tell him and that all he said is what do you want me to do about it sla,g I am shocked

I made an order and as I have an allergy to peppers I asked for it to be removed from my pizza and it was delivered with jalapeños on. I phoned the reception and asked for a new pizza to be sent out and the owner said jalapeños are not peppers and slammed the phone down on me. What a waste of money. Really disappointed and fed up. Won't be going back.

Food was absolutely terrible, chewing on lamb for a long time, hardly any sauce or salad, chips were not cooked and hard, never again.

Food lovely but staff don't speak good English so end up with a different meal but still nice. Customer service isn't there thing They are very impatient and rude but food was amazing so all worth it.

After two hours waiting for the delivery, we had to turn up physically, because they won’t answer the phone.

Best kebab shop around! Been ordering for the past year or so and they do my food to perfection every time! Only ever had 1 problem and they handled it brilliantly for me. Lovely on the phone fast service and friendly faces! To top it off best mint sauce

We ordered two Large mixed shish kebabs from here, extremely disappointed with the very small portions of meat with these expensive dishes which consist of mainly salad. Customer service is appalling when complaining about the poor food received. No refund or apology offered, certainly do not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Had beautiful chicken doner kebabs, great portion sizes, flavourful and delivery well within allotted time. Reasonably priced. Helpful staff and friendly delivery driver. My new favourite 😊

Outstanding service. Got us out of a sticky spot while camping at Ty Coch camping club. (Forgot our gas regulator). The only kebab place that would deliver to us. Outstanding food best kebab we have had in a long time. Customer service amazing spoke to a young lady who helped us out massively. Only had so much cash on us not enough for delivery as minimum delivery was £25. Massive thankyou to this young lady and the boss who rescued us from a bad situation. Otherwise would have been crisps chocolate and sweets only. Definatly recommend will be ordering again 😊

Never go out of business...the only quality, affordable kebab in the whole area.

Worst customer experience ive ever had from a kebab shop rude and also turned up 1hr and 40 minutes later was extremely disappointed and the food was cold when it got here. Would not recommend and definitely will not be ordering from here again and will warn anyone else to not order from this place too!!!

Lovely pizzas (2 for 12 pounds), great vegetarian options and really nice guys who run this place. Always our choice after a few drinks out, far better quality than most kebab shops in Newport.

Have been eating here for years. They always cater for my fussy needs. Top quality meat and they have a unique tasting garlic sauce that I cannot find anywhere else.

It’s very bad and not worth trying

I ordered food online, specifically asked in the requirement box for no sauce on kids nugget meal. Turned up with sauce. Rang them, person on the phone couldn’t speak English well and was rude. He argued with me whilst it was there mistake. Ridiculous!!!

Loved the food.... We had very nice kebabs and pizza top quality... We stopped on the way to London just off 4 min from M4, lovely staff specially the lady who helped us and looked after us.

I've been ill for two days with food poisoning from the chicken shish I had. Absolute vile and unable to reach manager about the issue.

Ordered a small kebab and for £6 it was tiny with about 4 pieces of meat and small amount of salad too, the bread was soggy and I am very disappointed as I always order food from here....think I will stop using them, as a loyal customer I expect better 😢

The food is really nice great portions, it came piping hot and even got a free bag of chips. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food, great service, even better delivery. Have been ordering from these guys for nearly 3 years now, thanks to a recommendation from a friend, easily the best kebab in Newport! Food is always great and never lets us down, reasonable prices and good portions, website is easy to use if you are fussy and like your food a specific way which is great! The guys who run Newport Grill are also lovely and went above and beyond for myself when my partner ordered my Birthday Lockdown Dinner from them! Delivery is unbelievably quick, more times than I can count, the food has been here within 20 minutes! Cannot recommend Newport Grill enough!

My partner and i ordered 2 meal deals. 1 chicken wrap meal and 1 lamb donor wrap meal. We waited an hour for our delivery and when it turned up it was 2 chicken wraps. My partner then rang them straight away and they said they would get another one to us. 50 minutes later my partner rang again and they hadnt even put it together and sent it out. My partner ended up having to go there to get it at 10.30 and it still wasnt made.

Bread was soggy and tasted bad.

Food is ok but the sauces are not the best. Chilli sauce is like tomaoto soup. Garlic sauce is sweet and yellow with mint. Shop looks tatty and could do with repaint or upgrade. Its ok 4 a quick meal hense the sauces. And not that pricey compared to others around that area.

Ordered a delivery from this establishment. Ordered a quarter pound meal deal, with chips and a coke along with an other meal. I asked if I could add cheese to the chips and was advised it would cost an extra £1. Asked how long the delievery would be and was told "i don't know, maybe within hour as it's busy." Delivery received without the cheese on the chips and coke. Contacted establishment who informed me that they could send me cheese and coke or give it to me tomorrow, despite paying to receive the extras with my meal. I asked if I could receive my money back for the extras I paid, as my burger would be cold if I waited for the extras to return. They refused. They were unprofessional, extremely rude and were not apologetic for the error they caused. Instead I felt like they were offering to do me a favour. I have been a customer in the past however will not return.

Ordered online via the app about the 4th time never had any problems before but on this occasion the app changed our address from the delivery to the billing address. We tried calling the restaurant the second the order went through after about 20 mins of constantly calling we got through and were treated horribly by a very rude woman claiming we would have to pay twice for our food. I never been treated with such rudeness or disrespect from someone in a customer service role. Will NOT be ordering from them again.

Stay away! Pizza (4 meat toppings), chicken strips and chicken donner with chips plus extra garlic sauce. Food arrived a bit too early, no worries here. But what arrived - that's the whole new story. Starting with sauce - just low end mayo with few herbs, garlic was NOT present. Strawberry jam has the same amount of garlic. Chicken strips (2 of them!) were the only thing I was able to eat. Kebab and chips - fair amount, truly large portion. But everything was drenched in that pseudo garlic sauce. Pizza (2xham 2x donner toppings) - single, not double amount of toppings at best. Made with no herbs or spices, tomato base sauce not even traceable. No basil, oregano on top. Just a little meaty, but totally tasteless round sponge, after two bites I was done. Cleaning sponges from superstore are as much enjoyable for fraction of the cost. If this order would be delivered during the day, I would return it, making it airborne so it would stick to the wall nicely. Total disaster and for sure the worst food experience in Newport in last two years.

i ordered for delivery from my work place at 12.30am when they shut at 2am. They took my order I phoned them to ask them nicely to ring my mobile as its a nursing home and i didnt want the residents get woken up. The lady on the phone spoke to me like rubbish i have never been spoken to like that before i asked to speak to the boss and he was shouting at me down the phone as soon as i answered telling me they couldnt deliver my food which the women didnt say that or mentioned it on the phone to me. then the boss talking about the weather conditions when i drove to work and the roads are clear. He then swore at me and hung up the phone when all i was doing is being polite. I cant believe the way they spoken. They shouldnt accept orders if they cant deliver. Im so discussed. never ordering from these rude people again.
