King Kebab in Newport

Placed an order when it arrived it was missing large Chips, phoned them immediately they said they would send them over, phoned an hour later said they did not know about it but would send them immediately, they did not do so. When you pay for delivery, don't get what you payed for even after talking to them twice on the phone, you feel ripped off. I don't trust them, never will I use them again.

Awesome I diet a lot but love a treat every couple of months this is it the guys at king kebab have never let me down also worth every penny the king deal

Absolutely terrible they messed my order up on just eat so I rang them they spoke to me terrible so I walked around there in pissing down rain then for all 3 of there staff to surround me screaming at me in some random language and then for them not to give me a refund or to even sort the order out now I’m money out my pocket and hungry vile human being should be aloud to sell food any more

First time ordering via Uber Eats. Ordered x2 large chicken shish kebab with a pot of mint sauce. The chicken shish was lovely, huge portion of really tasty, juicy chicken. Salad was okay, and pitta bread nice and soft. The mint sauce did taste like mayo with some green food colouring but it did the job! Would definitely order from here again, one of the best chicken shish ive had!

Our first time ordering from here and tbh it was absolutely delicious food came piping hot and the portion sizes was massive plus the kids love cucumber so only had that on there kebab but was very happy when they opened it and seen they had what looked like a whole cucumber in there lol thank you guys defo be abck

I don’t normally eat kebabs only on odd occasions but ewwwwww after tonight’s experience I know I made the right decision not eating kebabs Dripping in fat and tasted of fat and oil and I am literally minutes away from throwing up No excuses for how bad the food was it’s a disgrace and I’m shocked you have as many good reviews as you do as I literally feel terrorised by that experience Off to the bathroom I go 🤮🤮🤮

decided to go for a kebab tonight & was served a box full of grease, enough grease to fill a swimming pool I didn’t know wether to plug in a filter & go for a dip 🤮 luckily they didn’t charge me for the extra oil , found enough oil in the box to cook a plate of chips with the volume of grease that was in the bottom of the box

Absolutely loved this kebab, tried many places in Newport, but this one is one of our favourites! Generous portions, all fresh, perfect amount of sauce, chicken is the best! Definitely recommend

It’s alright but the portion sizes are not it I ordered a large chips and got barley any I was expecting the box to be full.

Ordered online, not dissapointed. Tasty food massive portions. we did order the hunger boxes and did not let us down. Will reorder again soon.

Just had a spicy kebab absolutely beautiful if you like spices plenty of meat would feed 3 people fresh salad to what you want I like onion and iceberg lettuce separate can not fault what you get I will be ordering from here again so nice if you like spicy food go for the spicy donner lovely with chilli sauce 10 out of ten thankyou king kebab

Absolutely disgusting covered in oil, like someone had chucked a cup of oil over each kebab, chips dry and cold. Meal put in bin. Money wasted

Newports best kebab shop by a mile. You want a quality chicken doner or shish? this is the place. sometimes people give a lot of lip service, so give this a go and then make up your mind. Always very busy so thats testament to their quality of food.

Seems clean, chips nice and hot, kebab was fine. Not the greatest or tastiest I have had, in fact the meat was kind of bland, but each to their own.

(Long term customer review) Seen this place go from the very best to down with the extremely low/average kebab shop. Used to be incredible but stopped going after a while.. Decided to order again tonight for the first time in a while (WED 24th aug). Placed the order at 7.30pm consisting of a large lamb doner and an XL chicken shish, waited 1 hour before I decided to call and ask where it was, was told they are just finishing it and will be with me shortly, Another half hour goes by before eventually it shows up ( 1.5 hours after order placed) Opened up the "XL" chicken shish and shocked to find the meal stone cold, alot smaller than expected, and no sauce either, Phoned about the sauce and they delivered it after another half hour, (now at 2 hours after order placed) Food was dreadful and had to be microwaved, even when it very first arrived both meals were cold as if they were cooked and left sitting for a long time before it was picked up to be delivered.. I won't be going back here as its just slowly but surely sank from litterally the very best to where I would preach this place, to my very last port of call if ever I wanted a kebab now.. Foods gone up in price while serving size as somehow gotten smaller, cold food and delivery time is shocking.. If I was you I'd just save your money and go elsewhere as you will only end up disappointed and still left hungry 🤦‍♂️

Ordered a king kebab the food was disgusting. So much grease and under cooked. Didn’t even finish it. Had to wait 1 hour and 30 mins plus I woke up and had a really bad belly almost was sick!!!! Please don’t order from there regret it so much

I have used King Kebab multiple times and to date i have not had a Bad Kebab. I reccomend mixed Lamb & Chicken Shish.

The king special 2 large chips 1 large pizza any type large Donna n it's bloody huge + small chicken shish that isn't so little ... plus a bottle of Pepsi £18.50 ... it's worth every penny they are also happy if you don't like something or would like to change ... I have been ordering every week for a long time n I have never had a bad meal or a cold 1 thank you keep my kebabs xxx

Truely is the King of Kebabs. I usually order the Shatkora Kebab and Chicken Tikka Pizza. The kebab is out of this world and inovative the pizza is absolutely delicious. Always consistant.

Took well over a hour to arrive when it did come was freezing cold. Also asked for certain salad items on some of the kebabs which they didn't read and just put everything on them.

Food ok but they forget something every time check before driver goes cos the lady on phone is rude

Our delivery arrived bang on the time that we selected. We usually order the chicken burger and spicy donner kebab which is their speciality. Highly recommended.

The food was good but I ordered mint sauce for my kebab and it came drowned in garlic sauce. Thankfully I like garlic sauce but would have preferred the sauce I ordered, and slightly less of it.

Food was OK... chicken was burnt and there was a brownish liquid in the bottom which tasted horrendous, asked for red cabbage had a few tiny pieces. Rest was nice.

Normally very pleased. This time however, the food took 1.5 hours to arrive and was chewy, dry (lacking sauce) and cold. Hopefully just a one off.

Garlic bread was a bit burnt but the rest was great as usual. Delivery time is getting an issue now because I won't be prepared to wait 1.5 hours again in the future!!

We ordered food and 10 mins later got a text message saying the order has been cancelled due to the takeaway being so busy and that it had temporarily closed and was advised to order from elsewhere. An hour an half later there was a knock at the door an it was the delivery guy from king kebab, we were a bit confused by this been as we were told the takeaway had cancelled our order and that it wouldn't be delivered, but been as we order from king kebab quite a lot we accepted the food anyway. We weren't too impressed as it's usually one of the best kebab shops but tonight the donner meat was in my eyes unacceptable its was over cooked and so were the chicken nuggets and garlic bread. I understand the shop is busy so why deliver when we were already told it was cancelled? To be honest it kind of put me off king kebab for the time being and I doubt we will be ordering from there anytime again soon which is a great shame because as I said previously it is or was one of the best
