Our go to Chineses spot in Chippenham. Always friendly, tasty food and very quick service. The Singapore noodles are particularly nice

Very dry, hardly any sauce on Cantonese dish, also barely warm. Large portion quite smaller than used to be,Gone downhill as used to be so much better than this.

Amazing food, best in the area. However, I am no longer allowed to order from there as I complained that a dish was cold. Shame.

I have never had such a terrible meal delivered, it took 85 minutes to arrive, when it did it was inedible, missing ingredients, tasteless, burnt and dry. I had spoken to a member of staff twice regarding the delivery, I then emailed the owner to complain. She in turn rang me today and basically called me a liar, said I didn’t speak to her staff and I should have complained yesterday, which I did, but because she didn’t read the email till today that’s somehow my fault. Absolutely disgusting customer service, she also said I could have taken the food back, I did point out that I can’t walk and this was met with a patronising ‘oh really’ photos of said food in the bin is not enough evidence for a refund, I don’t agree, but what can I do. Then a phone call with the chef, he screamed obscenities at me down the phone, called me a liar, swore at me, said we had eaten the food and were looking for a free meal! We have had amazing good food many times before, this is the first meal that was inedible, but I am more shocked at the way I have been spoken to and no apology, the communication ended with me upset and the chef hanging up the phone.

By far the best Chinese in Chippenham. Great service, good value and very punctual. Food really hot and tasted amazing!

Thought i would try this chinese as recently moved near by.. I ordered sweet and sour chicken hong kong style and rice....the sauce was tasteless and watered down..the chicken was tough...my partner had chicken egg fu young..it didnt look very appetizing and was swimming in water..so probably frozen...very disappointing...wont be going back .

I love new wold Karen and Steve are really friendly and I have tried other takeaways . But I find this the best in Chippenham I been coming here for a few years now I never been disappointed. And the red and green Thai curry is my favourite

If i could give u no stars i would as the way i was spoken 2 and told i couldnt order due to some thing i said and i never said anything to the driver ur service is rubbish and i once found a grey hair in my food never well i ever order from u again sorry but it be no stars if i could

We waited 20 minutes longer than original 50 minutes( no compensation offered), when the food came it was the worst we've ever tasted: watery, flavourless, yuk!

As a family we always have our take away delivered from New World. They are always helpful when taking our order and always prompt delivery service, if delivery is going to be longer than usual they will let you know. Food is always hot when delivered and very tasty this is the best Chinese we have had in Chippenham.

We use this take away whenever we fancy Chinese food. We are creatures of habit and tend to stick to the same choices which are always good. This week I found on opening my food that I had the wrong meat (beef instead of chicken). A quick phone call and my chosen dish was delivered to the door without any fuss.

Always use this takeaway. Haven't had a Chinese meal for several months, the food last night was tasty and ready for collection really quickly.
