The food is very delicious, and the delivery is very fast, especially the curry which is very tasty.

Unfortunately I have an to allergy mushrooms, didn’t realise they would load up the curry sauce and chow mein with sliced mushrooms. Tried to get In touch with them to sort it out and called about 10 times with no answer. Food goes straight in the bin, and had to order from somewhere else. Wish I could have rectified the issue with the restaurant.

Worst food I've ever had. This place closed for a month recently, have they changed owners? Everything was inedible. £22 down the drain. Straight away the smell made us feel sick. No way would they pass any food hygiene standard. Go somewhere else, eat out someone's bin, anything but this place.

Excellent experience, curry fried rice and chips is a must and house special curry is a must

Took 2 hours to deliver, they'd clearly taken the phone off the hook so you couldn't get an update. No apology for the food being late either. Food wasn't as nice as usual either

Ordered 2 meals and was told a certain price on the phone, to then find the driver asking for an extra £2. The food we recieved was dry and tasteless and went straight in the bin, even my dog turned his nose up. Will not use this place ever again.

Ordered last Tuesday food was awful so they kindly offered the replacement next time when the normal chief returns off hols. So called tonight advised the chief hasn’t been on hols then took 5 mins to sort it all out and foods arrived and it’s no different from Tuesday. Salt and chilli chips are bland chicken and mushroom curry very greasy and mushrooms barely cooked egg fried rice mushy. It’s a shame as this place has been our regular for a few years. It’s time to find somewhere new I think

Used to go here years ago-home for the weekend and we got a set meal-really lovely and filling and reasonably priced-will use again!

Ordered 2 weeks ago and our order was incorrect and tasted awful. We tried again as put it down to a busy night, however it’s arrived tonight with watery curry, uncooked spring rolls, no prawn crackers and tasted like nothing, such a shame used to be a favourite. Gone downhill

I'm react to MSG (monosodium glucamate), and a lot of Chinese food add it into their food. I phoned up this takeaway and spoke to somebody who couldn't understand what I was saying. I asked about the MSG and after several repeats of the question she said, 'no.' I didn't order anything in case she was wrong.

Food is always fresh and delicious, great value for money, definitely worth a visit probably the best Chinese takeaways in Gateshead.

Ordered this evening, waited over an hour for food. Ordered deep friend noodles with vegetables, only to receive bean sprouts and onions! Oops, forgot to mention the one mushroom. Anyway, called through to complain, to spot a hair in the noodles. She literally just laughed! When I told her! Refused to give me a refund but happy to replace the food next time I order! Do you honestly think I’m about to order again? 😡

They forgot to put my delivery order through when it finally arrived the chop suey roll was freezing cold inside absolutely disgusting

Absolutely awful. Food burnt and dry. Sweet and sour sauce had a bitter taste. Rice was dry and inedible. All in the bin. Won’t be going back!

Ordered a salt and pepper box chips were rock hard and box had 3 bits of cold chicken in. Called up to complain, customer service skills were shocking!

Got chinese from here on 9 April, first time in ages the food is disgusting it's not edible. We all put the food in the bin what a waste of £20. Will never order again would advise not to waste your money and spar wide of the place

House special curry and chow mein claggy rice tastless curry full of onions less meat that way pork was all grissle This place used to be lovely dont know whats happened threw most of it away wont be goin back

Had a fantastic takeaway tonite. Great service. Really lovely flavours in each dish. I have tried quite a few dishes, my husband likes the quarter duck with hoi sin sauce, pancakes and cucumber plus spring onions. The four Meats with cashew nuts and fried rice is lovely, also the beef chow mein, loads of beef which was lush is great value, I also have tried ribs in chilli and garlic which was just the right blend of flavours. So plsd we went here and have a new favourite place to go now. Gorgeous. Thanks. 💕 Ps Wing Sun now have a delivery service.

Spent £34 and got free crackers. Was worth the money. Got soup, appetisers n mains between two people. Was like ours own banquet. Having the lockdown and no buffet was open. This Chinese was well worth the choice to order from. no mistakes. Served hot. And the delivery driver was funny and cheerful and delivered on the time that was said. Highly recommended

Crispy shredded chicken is no longer crispy or thinly shredded. Big chunks of soggy battered chicken. Beef curry was burnt. Used to be the best chinese food unfortunately no longer this. Such a shame.

Best chinese in gateshead but get your orders in early otherwise your not getting through only bad thing is you cant order online but the food and delivery are class.

Used this Chinese today after work ...just got some Curry sauces chips and egg fried rice as a quick treat, it was absolutely delicious :) and the girls on the front desk were very helpful and friendly ....i will absolutely use this Chinese again, Thank you for a tummy tea !

Used this takeaway for years every weekend ..now the old owner has left the food is very substandard..poor ingredients and not much taste......take a leaf out the old owners books - good ingredients = Repetitive paying customers.. this place used to be the busiest in gateshead but now it's empty ...sorry but never again - start again guys

Used this takeaway years ago and drifted away. Recently rediscovered, and it is still top quality food and service.

Service isn't very good since Keith left to be honest. Waiting 50 mins for collection when I've never waited more than 20 before..

I've been coming here for years. Great food and a lovely family. My namesake Keith has left for pastures and business new. Good luck. Now in the care of Roy but with the same chefs in the kitchen!

I would go nowhere else for a Chinese takeaway. The service is excellent. The speed they put my order together always amazes me. The ingredients used are fresh and tasty. The food is amazing. Value for money is fantastic. They don't deliver which is unfortunate but there again it doesn't put me off...even been known to get dressed after settling down for the evening in my pyjamas just to go and pick up my order. Ten out of ten for this takeaway!

We have been going here for the past 15 years and it's only got better and better. Only downside is that they don't deliver which is why we've sometimes tried other Chinese takeaways but they've never been as good so we've always gone back to the wing sun. Also, the staff are always really nice. After our first couple of visits they remembered us and always have done ever since. I would highly recommend to anyone.
