Excellent food, good price but if you order the prawn cocktail ask for it to be put in a separate cold bag because it came a bit warm but absolutely gorgeous meal.

Love love love this place! It is going to be our next curry house. We used to order from Standard Tandoori on Holloway Road but the restaurant is now closed after the pandemic (it’s still there on the google map but when you phone them you’ll be connected to a different restaurant which claims to be their ‘sister’ restaurant but for some reason not as tasty) and we were looking for our new go to Indian. I’m so happy to have tried this place! We normally order Lamb Rogan, Lamb Jarfrazi and tandoori chicken. Jarfrazi is for my husband so I cannot comment but Rogan was amazingly creamy with good flavour, and a little bit of spicy after taste - the lamb was soft and juicy. The tandoori chicken was lovely and juicy with its marinade well penetrating through the meat. (I hate tandoori chicken with colours only on outside)

I got an excellent takeaway for me and my 3 friends from here. Good, fast service - they even phoned me about an allergy request. The food was delicious, and portion sizes were good. They also threw in a free bhaji and poppadoms. We had more than we could eat, for £14 a head. It will be my default Indian takeaway restaurant from now on.

Rice and extras were not bad but the chicken madras was very bland and watery,texture was more like soup than curry.

Just got my food after an hour and 20 mins which is fine understand it’s busy but all my food was cold

The best curry house ever, especially if you are vegan. The website is great as it lists if any of the dishes include dairy or allergens. The delivery is super-speedy and the customer service is great. I would highly recommend the food - great quality and absolutely mouth watering.

Absolutely delicious!! Beautiful combination if spices and unusual recipes! Great prices and good size portions. One one drawback, my king prawn dish only actually had 2 prawns in it which was disappointing but won’t stop me ordering again and trying more if their lovely menu!

The restaurant confirmed an order we put in for 6pm at 6:05 but it didn’t arrive until 6:15. Food was fabulous though

Food 10 min early. Had a jalfrezi, sauce wasn’t as thick as I’d usually want but actually worked quite well as the naan was huge and mopped it all up and it had good flavour. Mushroom rice was really good too. Going to order here again next time.

Always order from here. Never been unhappy. Food always fresh and hot. Call to order.. always happy on the phone. You can order the curry to how you like it.. spicy to mild to no spice! Depends on your preference. Iv not been to another one since trying New Sumra Tandoori. 5* you have to see it for yourselves.

Due to food sensitivities causing stomach cramps 10minute after i eat indian food developed a few years ago. I thought i would have to suffer if i wanted to enjoy my favourite take away food. Until i tried New Surma Tandoori. Now i have discovered that i don't have to suffer. They use natural ingredients instead of a mix of powders and the staff were extremely helpful by telling what they used in my meal. And as an added bonus, it tastes fantastic. It is the only place in London i will visit from now and i have tried alot of the place within the M25 over the last few years. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Lovely. But abit cold.. not like the other times I have ordered from here, I dont know weather it was because it was a Thursday eve. The chips were freezing and the rest luke warm. I was abit disappointed, but apart from that it was good. I would never change where I get my curry from.. this is still a favourite:)

Very fast delivery, very good. I am not too enthusiastic with their take on saag paneer (it seems to contain coconut and is too sweet - I prefer the classic north Indian recipe) but it was all good and the portions were generous.

I shamefully don’t leave reviews as often as I should but this take out is nectar from the gods. It’s everything you hope your Indian food will be. It’s so good I’d order it if I was having someone for dinner in my tiny apartment and they’d be happy. Nothing over cooked. Perfectly spice. Carefully packaged for delivery. And simply delicious. What a treat and I’m from Glasgow. We do good Indian in Glasgow. Thank you.

Lamb was tender and curry delicious!

Tried this for the first time, it was ok. Not the best but not the worst. The paneer is done on a proper charcoal grill which was good but the masala and mutter paneer were a little too sweet. Popodoms were burnt (oil needs changing I think) jalrezi was decent. So hit and miss really, would try again but change order

The first time I have ordered from this place (odd as it is very close to me). Most impressive, food hot and plentiful (large portions of all sections of the order. Delivery driver was friendly and helpful. I am much impressed and shall buy from here again.

We always use this Indian takeaway haven't had a problem with it ever, always polite on the phone and we are regular customers. Foods always tastey and hot. Big portions and we now get a side or bottle on the house.. which is nice of them. I would recommend these guys to anyone who wants just a decent curry the way you want it, nothing fancy just good homemade nosh!!

Food was delivered early, which was good for us. It was hot and tasty! Only issue is they missed the pot of mango chutney that I'd ordered. I didn't bother calling about a 60p pot of chutney but I wasn't impressed it had been missed.
