The food is top quality, one of the best takeaways I've been to in years. Always collect food so can't comment on the delivery service.

Rang an hour after ordering, and too their credit it was delivered 5 mins later. Food was delicious. Far higher standard than the other chinese food places in the area. Would definitely recommend.

The food is usually ok but tonight they forgot to deliver part of the order then asked if I wanted to come and pick up the missing item. Good food. Awful customer service

Worst chinese we've ever had. Curry sauce was so thick we couldn't pour it...absolutely tasteless. Couldn't finish the meal - don't waste your money.

Food awful the chicken curry was like jelly you could of sliced it, no prawns in the house special fried rice, complained but were told to go elsewhere

normally go to New Garden, but was told about the share box so thought i would give it a go. paid £14.50 for a salt and pepper share box and a curry sauce. Absolutely disgusting! took over an hour 1/2 for delivery when was told 45 minutes. I had to ring up New River was put on hold for 5 minutes to be told it’s on its way. Food was cold, greasy and portion size was very poor for what you paid for. 2 chicken balls, 2 ribs, 2 chicken bits and hand fall of chips. The curry sauce i paid extra for was probably the nicest thing that came hot and tasty !!! had to reheat our food before eating ! would not recommend this take away at all. i will be sticking to New Garden always… really disappointed!

Nice food and the lady on the phone was very accommodating when we asked to separate sauce from a meal as a special requirement.

So after repeating my order to the very rude and uncooperative child taking my call 4 times it still arrived incorrect. Then when asking for a refund on all of my meals which were untouched she agreed over the phone and then when the driver arrived refused and sent back the one order that was wrong although id already gone on to cook my family a meal for our dinner. I had then asked to speak to a managed to which she denied and then asked for her nsme to file a complaint also refused. Not only this their delivery driver is dragging around her 4 year old son on deliveries gone 9 oclock.. pure shambles

We like their box meal with just noodles and shredded crispy chicken in sweet and sour sauce. The beef chow mein is also worth a go.

Definitely going there again. The crispy beef was actually crispy and not soggy. Each dish was hot and tasty, lovely staff and great service.

People were really rude, didn’t get all my food and rung up to speak to them about it and they said that they know it was all there when it wasn’t. Was said over the phone that she didn’t want to speak to me anymore and passed me over to someone else, who told me that I was lying and it was all there. We did a very big order and was missing a few items. Wouldn’t bother going there again. People rude and food wasn’t even that good.

Food late delivery food cold had to reheat so some items do not reheat well they used to be good gone down hill so i doubt if i would recommend them or use again

Ordered food last night online, which delivery was stated at an hour, 1 1/2 hours later no sign of the food, called up to which I was told we’d be the first order out, hour later the food turns up. 2 1/2 hours isn’t good enough.

They are not trustworthy. I ordered soup, chicken dish, noodles and veg fried rice and specified no mushroom in any of it. The girl who took the order was asked if she recorded our request or not. The food had mushrooms in it which got my friend an allergic reaction and bruised her throat from inside. After getting her medication, next evening when I called the takeaway and explained the situation to the girl. She was very rude and lied that we never said anything about mushroom. I asked her to apologize as my friend could have had sever allergic reaction, she said no. I asked for a refund, she accused me of being a scammer. When I asked I want to talk to your owner she said she dosent know who the owner is and that she is only working part time and is new. Seem All rubbish to me. To the owner of the business, Please apologize for this carelessness here openly for the above. Based on your reponse, we will then consider whether to pursue this legally or not. We were not after your money. 25 odd pounds will not make us rich!

Lovely meal ,freshly cooked and piping hot.

Absolutely appalling service & food..... we usually use another local take away and was recommended New River...... we haven’t had a take away for months and months, we decided to celebrate a special occasion. We waited 2 1/2 hours for the delivery of freezing cold inedible food. We contacted the shop for our refund to learn we have to wait next week...... I wish there was an option of a zero score.

Food was very tasty and the staff friendly.

I was concerned they wouldn’t be any good as they answered the phone straight away, because another Chinese I called, had been engaged for 10 minutes. I was really happy with what I got, the temperature & the portion size. I’ve saved their number in my phone 👍🏼

Ordered online said it would be an hour. 1 hour 15 minutes later rang them said my food had left 5 minutes ago and would be with me shortly but had a few deliveries. 45 minutes later no food rang them again said I wanted a refund. In the meantime food turned up luke warm told delivery driver to take it back. Now awaiting refund!!!!

Best Chinese takeaway in Caldicot. Very friendly, good service, food on time, and they have a great menu.

What a horrible woman on the phone how rude can u get screaming at me over the phone because u messed my order and all I asked was can u send the tray of food u missed And have used you the every time we have come to the David Brooms centre and will never use you again after being spoke to like that. I’ve paid for that tray of chicken ball and haven’t received.

Always eat from here, real Chinese food not gloop!
