New Rainbow in Stoke-on-Trent

Rang and placed a large order and collected within 1/2 hr. Food was absolutely delicious 😋 and the family loved every dish served up ( even my daughter who's very picky ! ) Have to say the 1/2 crispy duck with pancakes went down a storm. This is our go to Chinese takeaway as no where else comes close to it.

We always have our Chinese takeaway from here and have never been disappointed. We really enjoy the starter box for 2. The sweet chilli shredded chicken and sweet and sour, Cantonese style, are favourites of ours! Duck pancakes are also good!

We have been loyal customers to this place for over a year now since we moved into the area, and we have never had a bad takeaway from them. Probably the only consistent takeaway we have had, they do not change the taste nor the quantity of the food. The salt and pepper chips are the game changer, best in Stoke. Plus the woman from the till is always ever so friendly, and sociable. The food is always fresh and hot. We always go pick it up so cannot comment on the delivery service.

Ordered food at 8:06pm.. still waiting at 10pm, rang they said "will get it to you now". 10:30pm still no food, we live 1 mile away . Rang they said on way, I asked for some money off, they said can not do that, but wanted us order next time and they give us a meal, but we have no proof they will honor that, so cancelled order. Not happy. As not complained before. Better customer service would go a long way. Also Better treatment to regular customers would be a good idea.

3 hours delivery, absolutely shocking. Never again

I don't order here often and even though the food was delivered late and I know that the drivers can be very busy especially on the weekend, the food was very hot and tasty bbq ribs in juice or dry, I ordered both and they tasted great and fresh together with singapore chow mein I recommend

First time and never again. Probably the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. The food I had, tasted like it’s been cooked out of a used toilet. I couldn’t eat it and end up wasting it in the bin. Will never go back again after that.

Have to say we were a bit disappointed. Haven't been here for a while, but picked up house special chow mein and a dim sum combination last week, plus an extra portion of seaweed. It was very salty, and I couldn't eat even half of the dim sum. The seaweed was way too salty and wasn't eaten at all.

Delicious Chinese food, but English dishes wouldn't recommend - we had beef so bad grilled we had to throw in away.

This is our 'regular'. The food is consistently good and service always fast.

Tried for the first time as my mum had recently moved near by & we fancied a Chinese. Even though they said delivery would be 45-60 minutes, food arrived well within 30 mins & was piping hot & so delicious. Luckily i too live near by so i will be changing chinese takeaways to this place as the food was amazing, can't wait for my next delivery.

Amazing service with a smile and polite, food outstanding best chinese in town very very highly recommended. Duck curry, chips, rainbow special fried rice, satay sauce, bbq ribs. Can't wait to have another meal from rainbow. Loved every bit of meal.

Fantastic Chinese takeaway. All cooked fresh to order. Slight wait at peak times and not much seating area. Cash only. Could help if they took card payments. Good choice on menu and lady on counter/phone is always friendly and helpful if you need to have suggestions.

Ordered a very small simple take away this evening at 7:10. As it was a Saturday evening i expected to wait and was quoted 1 hour 20 mins. I rang 2 hour later to chase my order and was told its sat on the counter waiting for a driver. I asked how long? Couldn't be told. Instead was told its not my fault we are waiting for drivers. No apology no offer of a discount... Nothing... Just excuses. If they had been honest in the 1st place I would have ordered elsewhere. Instead they expected me to wait... Wait. And wait. Your food is not that special Rainbow... I will wait a reasonable amount of time but not 2.5 hours. Accept orders you can fulfil...don't out of greed accept orders you know you can't fulfil. Moral of the story...rainbow learn the act of good customer service starting with not promising something you can't deliver... Excuse the pun... And customers.... Order 3 hours before to avoid disappointment.... ESPECIALLY IF ITS A SATURDAY.... THEY ARE BUSY... or so I was told. Ps. Full Chef (weston coyney) 15 minutes and beautiful...

Best Chinese around, certainly a family favourite! Love their Kung Po Chicken and Salt and Pepper anything...

Use this takeaway all the time. The meals are great, good-sized meals we as a family love the food.

Been excellent in the past now dreadful. Chips are reheated and dry. Why do takeaways try reheating chips it never works. Throw them away and cook fresh. Will use our other takeaway from now on. For the other post from another customer commenting about food poisoning, from what I saw when I went in tonight I can see why that may have happened.

We have used this place since it opened it has always been good.However,we have stopped using it as the meals of late have been indifferent (not cooked properly,incorrect,less and less meat(of whatever kind) and prices escalated!

Regularly order from here, by far the best Chinese takeaway for miles, I love my ribs and they do the most awesome ribs. King prawn balls are amazing as well. Thank you for such great food and and great service.

Worst Chinese in stoke, everything was so tasteless. You could tell the sauce to the food was old, undercooked prawns could still see through the things, vile... what a waste of money

Just ordered from here. Got to say the food was lovely, hot and fresh. I don't know what they cook the chips in but they're lovely as well. All in all very enjoyable. 🙂

Awful response I called up today on a Saturday and they was a answer machine where the women says were closed Tuesdays. WHAT! It's a Saturday and you cant even be bothered to update your system. I also messaged on Facebook where I asked if they were closed and they completely ignored me!!!!!

Disappointing.... had spring rolls and they had prawns in, (nowhere on the menu does it mention prawns in the spring rolls), I've never had prawns in spring rolls before, just bean sprouts and veg. Had to throw away, 🙁. Usually nice food, this spoilt my tea.

Previously my favourite Chinese but last time I ordered chicken was a bit odd and rubbery and I was very sick later that night. I won't be using again.

absolutely awful service..was due to be delivered at 7:20pm..by 7:45 it still wasnt here so i rang to check and was told it had just finished cooking but would be another half hour deliverey (baring in mind we live a few minutes drive in a car away). so 8:15 came and went and it still wasnt here , so at 8:25 i rang again , and was told this time it would be another ten minutes !??...15 minutes after that it finally arrived.food was only vaguely and not particularly nice. it had finally arrived 1hour and 25 minutes late. will NEVER be ordering from this place again :-(

Our local Chinese and we do not use anyone else. Food is great and also reasonable prices. Staff friendly and it's an open kitchen which is what I like so that you can see what is cooked and how clean it is.

Love this chinese! Always so polite & friendly & the food is amazing. Always hot on arrival - no matter if the delivery wait is long (understandably as they do get busy due to their popularity!). Really wanted a chinese one Tuesday night and we waited till they opened on the Wednesday instead of going somewhere else cos they are that nice! 100% recommend :) x

Brilliant food been going there for years

Good quality take out - in my opinion one of the best Chinese take outs in Stoke. Very popular on Friday and Saturday nights which will most likely mean a wait for your order. Busy nights may mean a realistic wait of an hour for delivery, but other nights are more like 20-30mins.

I used to deliver for this shop and didn't eat here before I started now I have from here all the time it's definitely the best Chinese around in my opinion the staff are really pleasant and the delivery is quick and the food is always piping hot
