Nando's Stoke - Potteries Centre in Stoke-on-Trent

We usually go to the Nandos by Tesco Hanley but needed a halal restaurant as we had family visiting. We are new to the area so was abit hard to find, tucked right in next to cineworld. They have great large booths. We went at 5.30pm on a Friday and it wasn't busy. Service was great although a little hard to catch someone's eye. Food was perfect and portion sizes were good. Fast waiting time for food. Hot when came. Overall very nice and we would go again.

We visited from Birmingham on a Saturday afternoon. Food was ok but nothing special.My little ones chicken was extremely dry. There was nothing open around so we were kind of forced to eat here before taking the journey home. Otherwise we will not be returning customers!

Hi, We have received : 12 Oct2024 - cold food - dirty plates twice ( dirty forks and knifes ) - no apology - the smallest chicken I had from Nandoos ever - dirty table - no nandoo salt available - dirty toilets Never again

We love the eclectically individual styling of Nandos and the atmosphere they achieve and this was no exception with some fun nods to the local industry. The food was excellent as always, but the service was the best we've had in any Nandos, we were really charmed by the attention paid to us and will certainly eat here again in future when visiting.

The food was OK, I expected more flavour. The portion size was good enough, but for the money, it was not worth it. The staff we friendly.

Excellent service by a beautiful girl name Charlie, she went out of her way to make our visit to Nando's a remarkable experience and explained the menu to us in detail so we were able to select dishes knowing what to expect… The food was delicious and fresh. It was our first time at Nando's and because of the warm and helpfulness of this young lady Charlie, our experience was remarkable. Hope she keeps up her beautiful smile and i wish her all the very best in her future endeavours and hope Nando's employ more people like her to serve customers. Thank you.

Waited a while for the food- that's fine. I saw that the food was all ready for our table and waiting to be served at the pick up station. Food was there at the pick up station for over 20 minutes before I had to go up and ask for it to be served. Once the food was served it was cold. Raised the complaint with the lady who served and she just said she could make another burger, but by then everyone else would have eaten and the rest of the food would be cold. Lady mentioned there is nothing else she can do, didn't offer a refund for the cold items. Won't be coming here or to any nandos for that matter. As I've noticed also that the portion sizes are ridiculously small for the price.

We often come to the Hanley Nando’s when we visit Hanley. The service is always nice and quick and the atmosphere is nice. Yesterday we were greeted by Andrew who was happy and smiley and even asked us if we had a preference on where we sat which I thought was a nice touch as we have never been asked that before. I had to go to the counter as I had a gift card and I was served by Abdul who was the most loveliest gentleman ever, he was happy and polite and I thought he was really really sweet. A great asset to the team and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves!

We go regular to this restaurant and it’s the best in town.

Incredible server called Charlie this gorgeous girlie couldn’t be more helpful and bubbly, our dinner date was fantastic and followed by inside out 2 at the cinema, the halloumi was perfect!!

Good halal chicken the taste is amazing

We enjoyed it. Five of us had very decent meals- mash, chicken, chips, spices and drinks - stayed for a hour and got through £96.

I came with family meal make me completely disappointed one the waitress her name was hannah she being very very rude Customers I don't know how nando's keep this kind of ugly people for serving foods to the US very rude she is ugly

This isn't our first time at nandos. We come alot as we always find that the service is always great and the food is always perfection.

great food i ate so fast i could barely breathe, my yearning for the frozen yogurt was sadly unrequited as the machine was broken however

First time ever at Nando's and I really enjoyed! Food was good, got the spiciest option and wish it were slightly spicier but adding the sauces made it perfect. Staff were very nice, I asked about buying one of the sauces and they were able to get one for me! Then I noticed it had a crack in the bottle and then gave me a new one. Very happy to have the sauce! I had the butterfly chicken (extra hot) with the seasoned chips and garlic bread. Very tasty. I would love to go back

Especially good service during Ramadan. Staff were extra attentive and accommodating.

As a first timer in this shopping was really hard to find this restaurant. Other than that all good. Loved the chicken lovers.

What a let down! Was looking forward to a nandos for a long time and this was a complete let down ! Sunset burger was poorly put together which two small pieces of chicken ...didn't even come put together properly. Completely fell apart while eating. Chips not as good as other nandos ! Absolutely a shambles 😫 only thing good was the service. Staff super friendly and nice !!

Food came cold - customer service was appalling and not helpful at all - delivery driver apparently didn’t know how to ring and intercom and waited outside the apartment for 35 mins with the food - said he couldn’t contact because he was using brothers phone

Friendly and welcoming staff. Fresh food always cooked to perfection and consistent. Our favourite local restaurant. No wonder it's outlasted the other businesses in the Hive!

A standard nando's as expected. No different to any other nando's. You know what you're getting.

Just a bit disappointed they had no butter chicken

First went to Nandos years ago in Manchester,found it mediocre then and still do ...my Daughter wanted to go after we had been to the cinema I wasn't keen but went along with it ...it doesn't impress me in the least ....its just chicken overpowered by sauces ...not worth the cost at all ...overpriced KFC but not as nice

Our server Ffionne did an excellent job at serving for my friends birthday, she was very lovely and definitely deserves recognition for serving all the tables on a very busy afternoon. Some staff came out singing with a cake and it made the experience wonderful. Food was also great and was a good price

Got there at 11.30 A guy showed us to our table. Service was good. Food came In a fair amount of time. Then a young girl asked how our food was but seemed rather miserable and it was clear she didn't want to be there or was very new and didn't know what she was doing potentially.

Good place but shame the lady at the front reception simply lacked any genuine welcoming manner. An extremely dry welcome , but once we got settled, the order at the order desk, the service from there on, all were spot on. Guys you represent a decent banner. Please make sure you're always welcoming to others guests no matter if you're running out of chicken or spirits

Unreal chicken and nice vibe. Service wasnt as quick as hoped but that may have been due to hunger!

Not great to be honest, very cold, everyone had their coats on when eating as the first door does not close. Chicken was ok but chips were cold. No one came to check if the food was ok, when leaving no one came to say bye or have a nice day....

One of the best run nando's I've been in. Chicken chips and salad were all delicious! Ordering is done via mobile qr code and the music is quite loud so wouldn't recommend to the older crowd, but a great place for a date or hang out with friends.

A cheeky Nando’s is always our go to meal when we want some sweet Peri Peri chicken. Great options to share and go alone. We are always coming here ether after the cinema or before Peri salted chips are the bomb 💣

Really good place to grab a cheeky Nandos. Ample parking is easy to get to, and the chicken is Halal.

Fast food outlet. Staff were nice but you pay restaurant prices but get no service.

It's a shame I've had to rate this Nando's as low as I have. Same great food I've come to expect from Nandos and presentation is great but the service today was more than sub par . Waited ages for my drink coz a oh sorry then waited ages for one of my sides. Honestly it was just really forgetfull staff id understand if it was busy /short staffed this just felt poorly run . Possibly would return mainly because of location and design of the restaurant

Not been for years and was pleasantly surprised. Opted for a sharer platter for 4 which was more than enough for 2 adults and 2 children. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were great. We will definitely be back

Its a standard nandos really? It's a bit of a shame that all the other restaurants around it have closed as it feels like it is lacking footfall inside but still decent chicken

I got the worst food poisoning in my life, me and my husband, watery diarrhea, tummy pain, fever, and feeling sick , unable to leave the house, we are still in bed trying to recover, such a shame , will never eat at any nandos again!

Originally tried Etruria Mills and they said we'd have a 30 minute wait for a table (this is a Friday night so completely understandable), and we're recommended to try Potteries. Seated straight away with menus already laid out due to great communication between restaurants. Staff are really friendly and food is just as good. Restaurant is slightly quieter but still has a buzz so a great recommendation to anyone looking for a nice meal out - the extra parking is worth it if other Nandos are busy and you're looking for a quieter meal.

We stopped off on route to Suffolk. The manager/staff were ever so welcoming and friendly. Service was prompt, atmosphere was great and the food tasted amazing. Just ask my children! :-)

Amazing customer service. Not sure if he’s the manager but Phil was really friendly and helpful - he chased our order up as he realised we’d been waiting a while and made sure everything was okay. Overall great experience would DEFINITELY come again!

Delicious and fast I can't ask for much more

Fantastic customer service. visted on a busy Friday evening around 7pm. The staff member at the door dealt with customers requesting tables very well. We had a short 10 minute wait. We ordered from our table with a phone. Starters arrived within 20 mins, then around 5-10 minutes after our mains arrived. The waiter was quick to notice we needed more plates because we had a sharing platter. We was asked if everything was okay with the food and if we needed anything else. Staff member at the door noticed we had finished, said goodbye, wished us a nice evening and again apologied for the wait. We was very happy with our food. Would definitely visit again. 👍☺️

Hadn't been to Nandos for a long time. Going for my daugthers 18th birthday ,as a nostalgic memory of something we'd always do, it was great to be back. Lovely atmosphere, food amazing... what can be said. Just a lovely place to be again to create more memories.

We drove here from 40mins away. We checked the opening hours before arriving. Online it states 9pm and when you walk in on the doors it states 10pm. We got turned away as there excuse is they are closing in 5mins. This was at 8.22pm. (Paid £1.70 for parking for nothing) So we asked to speak to the manager and his excuse was we are short staffed. If you are short staff why not just stay closed. I will be taking this up with Nandos head office

Never been before and did not rate the menu, but everyone to their own, served the children with plain chicken burgers but they came with hot chilli jam on and they were not happy. ☹️

Loud but great food, very cosy, very accommodating of wheelchair use. Highly recommend the vegetarian/vegan options and the vusa hot sauce. Also, they have really good garlic bread.

Made us ill, missed out of work and lost a lot of money, do not attend this place

Quality of service at this branch is appalling. Had my order messed up one too many times, long wait times, poor service. when i order using the delivery service, Items missing and order wrong on 3 occasions. Deliveroo driver apparently stole my food Twice, nothing they could do about it, not even chase it up. Sadly this is the only halal Nando’s in stoke, completely Put me off. Won’t be ordering food from here again, only to wait hours, then be disappointed and eventually order elsewhere because they’re closed. Oh and wait for a refund now because there’s nothing else they can do.

The team were helpful and friendly and the food was nice, fresh and quick. It's a good size inside and we had a booth, which was comfy. A good atmosphere and well spaced out inside.

I visited on a Thursday afternoon, it was relatively quiet, was very pleased with the service! Ordered on the app and the staff were very welcoming and helpful!!

Went to have dinner, and had a great setting and mood. However, there wasn't any specifications on the tables or around the building on how to order for new visitors, so it took us a while to figure out that you could go to the counter instead of ordering from the QR (wifi issues). We had a friendly gentleman tell us that our meal would come in about 15-20 mins because of a shortage of chips, but instead it took half an hour, and some staff weren't very friendly and would be having a chat with colleagues instead of serving guests. Was a little pricey, but food was delicious and worth it 🙂

We came to UK in 2021. Yesterday was the first time to try Nandu and for sure will be the last. Nandu is a big name but it is overrated and does not worth the visit. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere were very good. But the food is below average. We have ordered full platter and a wrap. Nandu sauces(mild and medium) were bad, I felt the sauces hurt the taste receptors. Very expensive in comparison to other Restaurants who serve better chicken platters. It is 20-30% more expensive that than peers. My advice, dont try :)

Lovely place, staff were friendly and so helpful as there were about 20 of us and they went out of their way for us. The only down side for me was the portion size. My bf and I ordered a sharing platter and honestly I could have eaten the full thing and I'm not even a massive foodie. Overall we had a great time and would definitely go again!

First visit, friendly staff, lovely premises, clean toilets. Food cooked very nice and was delicious, will visit again.
