New Kam Tong in Kingston upon Thames

I ordered a delivery by calling their number via Patrick. For me so much nicer than having to place on-line, Patrick answered all my questions. Arrived within 45 mins, lovely and hot. Good portions and the food is delicious. Will definitely order again. I loved the shredded chilli beef. Special fried rice was really good. Crispy crackers were complimentary so thank you for them.

I have lived in Surbiton for my whole life and not only is the food at New Kam Tong incredible (easily the best in South West London and it’s not even close) - but Patrick treats both my wife Mechelle and I as if we were his own family! Not only does he remember our exact order - but when I go to collect, both him and I end up catching up longer than the time taken to actually get the order ready! For all those in Surbiton, Berrylands, Tolworth and Chessington - New Kam Tong is a must!

Literally the best Chinese food, can’t even lie been eating from here since I was born.

Only ordered because Wukong was closed. Granted we ordered on Christmas Eve but clearly they weren’t busy because the food (6 dishes) came within half an hour. Everything is overly greasy and tastes like it’s been reheated. Even the prawn crackers don’t taste fresh, how do you mess up prawn crackers? Rank.

Geat Chinese take away, fast services, aromatic duck, salt & pepper prawn and black bea pepper beef and shredded chili beef are especially tasty. Highly recommend!

Delicious food! I had the beef in black bean sauce with noodles and it was so good!!!, very friendly drivers too! Will definitely order again

We ordered vermicelli Singapore and spring rolls. Vermicelli was very salty, over seasoned with turmeric, taste awful. They put grilled chicken breast very old with a strange taste. Not beef, fish o seafood. The spring rolls, were oily and soft. I do not recommend this take away, you just waste your money.

Visited this place with my mrs today, We had some dietary requirements and the gentleman was very helpful and adjusted the food to suit our needs. The food tasted great and was good value. Thank you highly recommended 👍🏽

I’m never the one to leave negative reviews, but this is a must. Do not order from this establishment at all cost, there’s so many others around that deserve your money instead. I’ve been trying this restaurant for many years but enough is enough. Their false advertising of what you get and absolutely rude customer service should not belong in our community. I ordered fried rice and turns up with egg fried rice and curry together in a box, thats not what the description entails nor was advised. When telling them it’s the wrong order, they say I ordered wrong and I should apologise.

Spent £50.00 and the food was disgusting. Spoke to the manager who ignored me. Even having a few drinks didn't help the tasteless food. Would not recommend

It is a nice Chinese place in surbiton especially for the yummy pork and corriander dumplings. I miss it alot now after moving to Scotland.

Best Chinese takeaway in Surbiton by miles. Don't understand the critical reviews about portion size. They are massive and we always have way too much. Very reasonable prices too. Use fresh ingredients. Recently had something with stem ginger and it was clearly fresh as opposed to pickled.

awful food. stone cold. took 1 hour and 30mins to deliver! 3 items were inedible. the crispy beef could have been anything. justrock hsrd lumps of batter no taste of meat at all. stale prawn crackers and awful spring rolls. refused to compensate me claiming driver was stuck in heavy traffic....I live 8....yes 8 minutes away!!! disgusting service. just eat are refunding me not even half the bill. shocking really but better than nothing. don't eat here!

Placed an order for 4 people at 8-3pm last Saturday and told it would take an hour and to be delivered. At 9-45 no order had arrived and phoned to check. We were told that the order had not been made up because of a conflict between 2 staff. Had to go and pick up which meant we ate at 10-30 = definitely no good. We were offered only £6 discount or 15%, a bottle of coke and some useless fortune cookies. The food was good when we eventually received it but you risk more of the same poor service all of you in Berrylands

Very nice service and friendly staff. Food is very good and this has been my weekly favourite Chinese takeaway for the past 5 years. This is the perfect place if you are Vegetarian and want a good Chinese. They provide good sized portions at reasonable prices.

Very good food, the spring rolls are seam to me handmade, and with fresh vegetables. One of the best spring rolls I ate.

Slow service accompanied by a very dodgy gut the next day. Avoid at all costs, no one locally likes this place. The food is awful, they use the reception/ordering area as their living room with kids toys all over. Food will most likely make you ill.

Chicken balls were burnt could literally stand my fork in the curry sauce the chicken curry was the same the chicken was rubbery the rice was sticky and horrible over all the meal was disgusting what a waste of money would definitely not recommend

A friend and I ordered different dishes and both had the same stomach problems within hours that lasted until the following day. My sweet and sour was a vibrant, unnatural, almost florescent red and my friend's dish was an equivalent yellow. I'm never eating from here again. * edit. Amended to 2 stars after a refund
