Lovey atmosphere great cocktails

A simple modern Greene King pub, in a modern setting offering a range of keg beers, lagers, ciders. Just the ubiquitous Greene King IPA for cask fans. The Abbott must be on holiday! Plenty of food on offer from the inexpensive menu. Great staff offering fast efficient service. I enjoyed my pint of lager. There are plenty of opportunities for the sportspersons among us with Darts, Shuffleboards and Pool on offer.

Excellent customer service. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Especially Jess and Sandy who went above and beyond to make our experience here memorable!

Always had good food and staff been great Food was good except alot of salt on Chips .Table wasn't cleared for ages Until we ordered a pudding .It was not busy staff seem to sit around talking A new team came on duty while we was there .And my goodness did it all change On the ball. Definitely ladies toilets next upgrading

Visited the Cornerstone Pub in Kingston upon Thames today, and, I was greeted with warm, friendly service that made me feel welcome. The staff were attentive, The atmosphere was chilled and yet relaxing, making it the perfect spot to unwind.a great variety of beers,, and spirits, all expertly served. . I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot in Kingston!

The food is cheap Drinks are cheap. Staff are great. They also have billiards, shuffle board, and darts. What is not to love! 5.99 cocktails and 3 apps for 14.99... sign me up!

Friendly enough staff but the pub is in urgent need of a refurbishment, really run down with terrible toilets. A shame as it has potential with 2 dart boards, shuffle board and pool table. Pints are not great especially the Guinness. Best avoided.

Had a fabulous evening in Friday! Popped in for some food and predrinks before we went to do an escape room. Service from Dom and team was amazing and steak cooked to perfection!

Staff are wonderful. Great place for a drink and chill after work on a Thursday or Friday. Customers are chill, a wholesome boozer 4.9⭐the shufl boards are a big plus

My two sons and niece drive me crazy to come to 'The Shuffle Pub' ever since we stumbled upon the tables. It's definitely a grown-up playground, with the pool and darts as well. But the atmosphere and clientele is always welcoming and I've never hesitated to take the children in, even on a weekend. I've also been in midday, midweek and seen a huge gang of OAPs making the most of what, I assume, is a bargain luncj deal for them. It's a very modern pub but with all the charm of an old-school one. And Dominic, behind the bar, is a top man.

Went with 6 friends tonight, after a good recommendation, ordered food, 6 dishes, changed order twice due to items not available, bar staff read order back, confirming what we ordered, and then waited 20mins for food, to find one order missing, and would need to wait a further 10 mins, as order not sent to kitchen. Not good, portion sizes small, on the five dishes that did arrive, pity really as heard such good things about the place.

Lovely pub to go to when out and about in Kingston. Our server Jess was amazing and helped us with a complication with our food - my husband had ordered onion rings and only received one on his plate, Jess was very apologetic and fixed the issue right away. Overall the food and atmosphere were good and service was 10/10.

We were waiting to make an order at the counter for ages and then someone just got in front of us asking for drinks and the staff turned to the person to get the order,I’ve said we were waiting to order some food and she very upset and annoyed said that She had the full bar to attend and the food would take over 1 hour to be at the table. Not given us at least the chance to order it. I haven’t asked her to COOK my lunch,she was supposed JUST to get the order and that’s it. I understand some days are busier,but this is not a excuse to be such an unprofessional. She just carried on getting drinks order from the guy which was behind us and ignored me and my husband totally.

Staff are amazing, service was fast, would recommend! Pints were poured to perfection, and prices were low. FIVE STARS!

As a uni student we all find our favourite pub to go to, whenever I am in Kingston, Cornerstone is mine. Dom is always so friendly greeting me at the bar and asking me about my day. Jess, Freddie and Sandy are great too and offer a really reliable service. From grabbing a bite to eat, or just drinks the staff are always on hand to make it a 10/10 experience. Personally, I have never had any delay from the kitchen team and my food has always been prompt. Thank you Cornerstone!

Good atmosphere, staff not attentive, drinks and company good! We ordered food, waited an hour and a half before we enquired, long and behold there's a delay and food would be more than 20 mins more. We waited for what was the coldest non edible, sad looking burger. It was returned and refunded and we went elsewhere for food. Drinks were a good price however!

Dreadful! A three-inch bowl of literally 10 loaded fries at £5.29 came the chicken strips missing; then took 45 mins to fix. Total scam!

I booked for my work gathering with my team members in advance for the 6th Jan. I asked for the opening times, I was told 11pm on Monday evening. I also said I will order some nibbles, which was fine for them, did not say anything specific. When I arrived, the area wasn't even ready for us with "reserved" signs. We wanted to order one more sharing plate, as they were not so big, they told us the kitchen has closed. This was 7pm. Should have been nice to know in advance. I've asked how the shuffle table works to play, as we have never done this before, the bartender said: I don't know, instructions on the side, asked manager - he said the same. I went to the bar at 10pm to order drinks and the manager said: we are closed. I ask how is this possible, as the website says 11pm, and I was told 11pm when I booked? He became very upset and said he is opening tomorrow and legally he needs 11h break between his shifts. I tried to explain that I appreciate his shift issues however we were not told about the early closing, I expected my team to have the gathering until 11pm, however the manager, Ashley his name was, became more annoyed and upset, where he raised his voice at some point and said he doesn't care, he's quitting anyway. Now, me and me team we all work in hospitality, so we do understand tough times with short staffing and busy days, however professionalism was nowhere showed this evening. This should not be the customer's fault, and should have handled in a different way as we just left nearly £800 there, and received such a bad service with bad attitude. Shame.

Kitchen close one hour and half earlier than normal and the bar one hour earlier because the staff wanted to go home. We were a party and none of us would come back there. Staff extremely rude.

A pub we visited after making a reservation to watch a soccer game. It was 1 minute away from Kingston Station, so my friends could visit easily. There were many screens everywhere, so I could watch comfortably from any seat, and the bathroom was clean and spacious. There weren't many different types of beer on the day I visited, but I hope I can enjoy more beers on my next visit :)

Nice friendly pub, good for sports with plenty of room for even the big games. Staff are always nice, and it's a good alternative to the spoons across the road.

I popped in while Xmas shopping last week with friends and ordered lunch. The food was amazing, everything tasted so good, service was fantastic. I was told a new manager had taken over you can definitely tell he’s changing things for the better

We are going with our football fan, a 7 years old kid. This pub is kids friendly, bright interior, clean and nice decor, fab food. We managed to have a very good view of TV each time, definitely will go again.

We visited this place on a Sunday (peak time) and it was extremely filthy, dirty. We went to organise a birthday get-together but shortly left for the place being so untidy and in chaos. I don't think anyone would want to eat at this place! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My mate and I stopped by and had early dinner on Tuesday. Everything was great, the guy behind the counter was friendly and welcoming, the girl who served food was also pleasent. Food was nice and puddings were great. Highly recommend this place and will be back again.

Lovely pub. The bar tenders are great always up for a good conversation and a laugh. Food is tasty and quick. This is by far my favourite pub in Kingston. Nice pool table with good cues, 2 shuffle boards and darts.

This is the second time visiting the cornerstone in Kingston and it was the worst pub experience we have ever encountered! Oh apart from the Charming Bar man that was covering from the sister pub the Earl Beaty. On reflection we arrived at 14:00 which in pub hours this is a quiet period and it was. We ordered our drinks which was 2 pints of larger and a bottled cider almost £20!!! After sipping my Peroni it tasted odd. I ordered a pint of fosters and it was definitely a pale ale so I spoke to the bar man and he poured me another and it was pale ale again!!! Obviously wrong beer connected to the wrong tap? We ordered food and I had the rump steak which was the worst steak I’ve ever had! May have been Microwaved as no grill marks and was incredibly chewy. After we ate I asked for a milk for my daughter which was an option on the kids menu! None available. After nearly spending £100 we will not be returning and I feel sorry for the bad man having to deal with the disgusting customers who were clearly off the heads on god knows what at 2pm on a Thursday afternoon-screaming and shouting at each other. 1/10

Wanted to leave a positive review as we visited yesterday afternoon, not busy and although due to a staff shortage we couldn't eat straightaway we were happy playing shuffleboard with our drinks while we waited. A huge thanks to Sam who let us play beyond our 30 minutes and pointed out a deal on the menu I hadn't spotted when we ordered our food - which was lovely by the way. We enjoyed our visit and again, thanks Sam for looking after us.

We had a fantastic time playing shuffleboard, and the cheese and bacon burger was absolutely delicious! We brought our English bulldog along, and the pub was incredibly dog-friendly, with water bowls and treats available. Jordan and Brandon were both super welcoming and attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommend this spot for a fun, relaxed outing!

Great atmosphere for sports. Also has the best shuffleboard board in south west London. Play here every 2 weeks

Great place, good food, very nice atmosphere, helpful attentive staff, lots of screens to watch sport, 2 electronic dart boards with various games £15 for 1 hours play, 2 shuffle boards £8 for 30mins or £15 for 1 hour, 1 pool table.

Beautiful well kept clean pub with various comfortable seating options was served by a very polite and friendly lady who put up with my many questions very patiently. My company was also kindly greeted on entry by the pubs manager Brandon who brought out the food we ordered which was incredible, was closer to gourmet than what you'd expect from pub food season to perfection will definitely be returning.

Love this little place. Great location for an after work pint. Usually on the quiet side except for student nights. Friendly staff and nice food. What more would you ask for?

What a pub and amazing staff with a great smiles, an amazing selection of pub games and an amazing range of sport on the TVs from football to the NFL cannot rate this pub highly enough and the food was amazing especially the small plates the salt and pepper chicken!!! Quite honestly, o e of the worst pubs in Kingston (that I've been to) and extremely expensive drinks. Asked for a large apple jouce, came and it was tiny.for £3.10. Could have got 3 cartons in Tesco opposite for that. Service terrible. Rude staff. Standing waiting, girl behind bar asked who was next and we had been, but a drunk old man pushed in. It is the bartenders job to mentally note who arrives at the bar and at what point. Just rude and useless staff. Not nice atmosphere either. Sticky tables. Food, average. We won't be returning.

Recently came for a birthday evening. 🎂. I haven't been to this pub since 2017, and it has really changed. Some of the seating area has been replaced with shuffle board and pool tables which is a really great edition. Bar staff were fun and friendly. Still lots of tvs with sports on if you're in to that.

I'm confused how we came to the overall 3 star review... As you can see from our rating everything is 1 star. We would like to draw your attention to the quality of food; imagine waking up and grabbing a one day old McDonald's from the fridge. I'm pretty sure they got the wings off of a 90 year old corpse. Just endure it and go to The Tun for a fraction of the price.

Amazing service! Efficient staff : Seemant, Tomas, Harshita and their team ! Food and drinks are very decently priced ! Darts and other games are available. Multiple screens playing different different games . I enjoyed watching cricket World Cup final 2024 .

Corner stone has been my regular drink place. We have had plenty of celebration there with your wonderful service and amazing staff. Mr. Seemant has always greeted us and given extra attention whenever we are there. One of the reasons we go there is because of his exceptional service.

I had a great visit here for a friends birthday drinks & some meals on Saturday. We was all taken very good care of by the extremely helpful & friendly manager Timothy. Nothing was an issue, everything handled smoothly & efficiently, 5 star customer service right there! All of our meals were made to perfection, thank you to the excellent chefs, keep up the great work. Thank you very much Cornerstone, we will be back for sure.

Chef Fiona’s culinary expertise shines through in every dish, particularly the fried chicken burger and chicken tacos—both are absolute must-tries. The fried chicken burger is perfectly crispy and juicy, while the chicken tacos are bursting with vibrant flavors. Special shoutout to team leader Seemant for his outstanding service; his attention to detail and friendly demeanor made our dining experience truly exceptional. Also Harriet served me very nicely. The cozy atmosphere and top-notch service make this place a gem in Kingston. Highly recommended!

The food here, it's fair – nothing to write home about, just gets the job done. The crowd? Let’s say it's a bit on the rough side, not the most refined bunch. And, well, there are cameras in the toilets, which is a bit off-putting. On the bright side, if you’re a sports fan, you’re in luck – there are plenty of TV screens to catch all the action. So, it’s got its ups and downs, but it serves a purpose.
