Ihad a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Although my order was ready, a tall chef deliberately delayed handing it over, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Unfortunately, due to this service, I don’t plan to return.

This is Kurdish restaurant 10 minutes from Currys. Food tasted good and there was a delicious complimentary lentil soup at the start. The atmosphere and decor very pleasant and the music just wants you to dance. Reasonably priced the chicken and lamb shawarma with bread and chips. Will visit again.

Very very bad experience!!!! Not recommended at all. They didn’t care about customers. Even there wasn’t enough glasses on the table!!!! Very rude !!!

This is my first experience in this restaurant, unfortunately their service was very bad, Before our food was ready, they didn't give us plates and glasses, and when our food was ready, we were waiting for plates, glasses and even bread. They were very indifferent towards us. I was very disappointed with this type of service and I do not recommend☹️

Great food, the lamb is absolutely delicious and amazing. It just comes off the bone. And the staff is the sweetest you can find. Strongly recommend and will return whenever I’m in the area.

Very disappointing dinning experience. Food took too long to be served and the mixed cold starter tasted weird, the tabouleh and fatoush were not fresh and had no dressing; falafel was overcooked and crumbly. We complained to the waitress and did not eat it but were still charged for it. Overall the service was poor and will not eat there again.

£15 takeout mixed grill. How do these places get away with this. First time I’ve tried it last time ate the meal it was ok but left hungry.

I would like to share our Dinner in Sumer Restaurant with all of you guys. I went there with my mates we liked the place and they have a shisha place at the back of the restaurant which makes the restaurant different from other restaurants we have been to. The shisha with great food was delicious we had no complaints whatsoever last but not least I want to say a big shout to Sumer restaurant 👏👏

I could not believe how rude the staff was to a few young teenagers who was ordering some chips after me, you could tell they looked a bit upset how they was spoken to. I must say the teens was polite and well mannered… so respect to the parents. Also the kabab that I ordered could of done with some more meat and not just a Mountain of salad.

I have been to this restaurant few times and commented on the dip orders hoping next time they may get it right. I usually have mix grill. Portion is good but the mince meat kibbab was not good. Meat was crumbling in the plate (too much fat). I ordered aubergine dip it was not nice at all. I tried their tabbola before but did not taste anything like Middle Eastern tabbola. I must admit their complimentary soup was nice which I enjoyed more than my mix grill also their flat bread was very nice too. You need to sort out your dips recipe guys and work on you kibbab recipe too. Good luck!

The wrap which was to take away, they fill only a small amount of meat compared to Aroma. Also the mangement was extremely rude. The way they spoke to their staff was disgusting. One girl went crying outside which is not acceptable

This restaurant has made a very nice impressions with its hospitable and friendly hosts, cool environment with the amazing interiors beside the delicious dishes. I recommend this for everyone want to try the traditional Iraqi cuisine that will left your stomach full and happy :D

First time coming to the restaurant for Shiaha was unaware they start serving at 1 arrived 12:30 the lady mentioned that the shisha guy wasn’t here yet but went out of there way to make a batch for me. Shisha very smooth and strong and taste good. Highly recommend this place will come back again for a full meal and shisha. I choose raspberry and blueberry was amazing.

Number one restaurant new Malden High Street

it was the little touches that made it nice (complementary soup, lemon water). we came for our sisters birthday. the waiters were extremely nice. I would definitely recommend. we had IFTAR here.

What an amazing restaurant a great addition to new malden high street. From the time we entered to the time we left the hospitality was amazing 👏 The food quality was great, good portion size the best kebabs and koftas by far. The service was really good. They were readily available whenever we needed them. We were served quite quickly as well. They even set the mood to celebrate our friend's birthday when they brought the cake 🫶🏼

Even their service is very good, the staff are very kind and the most important their staff can speak many language like Turkish, kurdish arabic,persan and much more for customer which prefer their own language. mashalla they have very nice atmosphere which you csn eat in peace. so if you looking for middle east food give try 10/10

Had the (lamb) wrap to takeaway, what made it was the bread, very very delicious, unlike anything I've had before. The meat was perfectly salty and more-ish and fresh, good salad options, again all freshly prepared salad. Chilli sauce nicely sweet. But the star was the bread and the quality of the meat. Washed down with cold Ayran. 10/10

Use to be good, so had been taking away for many times in the last month. Be careful while ordering Shawarma. Two weeks ago, the Shawarma wrap caused me a tummy upset and i recovered in 2 days. That time wasn't sure whether its the cause of Shawarma. Today the guy didn't shred the chicken from the loaf but just filled with some left overs. The whole shawarma wrap was containing only half the usual quantity I get here. The guy did it purposefully and conciously knowing what he is doing. Now after an hour consuming, I have again fell sick. Seems to me a serious hygiene issue going around at this restaurant. Be aware!!

The meat dishes such as kofta and Chicken Shawarma had a strong raw meat taste, indicating insufficient marination. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and I don't plan to go there again.

Tried a chicken shawarma box and the chicken was so dry. First time trying this place, definitely won't be back. The fresh bread was nice.

Was disappointed with my order, I ordered lamb shawerma and they dont serve it with tahini sauce! Only garlic and chilli sauce- thats not shawerma. And i did ask specifically before ordering. Ordered Kofta wrap, was served wrapped in thick bread, lack of flavour. I dont think i will try again.

Rude bread maker, kebabs made with scraps of left over meat bits from their next door butcher counter. Bad quality food we spent nearly £80, no salad just a few onions and lemon wedge given. Not worth the money give this a miss

Went to dine in. The waitress was super friendly and really looked after us.we got served complimentary soup which was delicious. I had a mixed grill - Chicken and Adana. I would like to be constructive in my reviews when something wasn't right but this was by far the worst mixed grill I ever had. I have a feeling that they precooked the chicken and lamb on charcoal but then reheat it in a deep fat fryer when ordered. 100% it was not cooked on the charcoal grill when ordered. This is totally unacceptable for a place like this. The lamb kebab was a terrible consistency and devoid of any taste. I did speak to the waitress afterwards and she assured me that nothing is deep fried. Unfortunately, this time I don't believe her. I would not recommend this place. Instead got to Sofreh or Aroma...much better quality food all round. I hope they take the feedback on board and make some changes.

What started out as a good restaurant with lovely food eventually went downhill. Our last dine experience was just poor and they got the wrong order, the service was average at best. Then recently took out some shawarma for take away, and this is where I drew the line and decided to write a review. The staff just laugh in the corner, the guy who was serving the food just seemed angry the whole time. The food was poorly in lack of flavours and had literally no taste. A true Iraqi kass is packed with flavours and has some grease to it. Shame about this, it has so much potential in a great place of New Malden.

Went yesterday for the first time and I was amazed by the nice decoration of this new restaurant in town! It’s superb . I had to eat a sea bass which was really tasty and for drink I had orange juice it was so fresh ?! That it was unbelievable sweet. I was served by a really nice young lady , very sweet and young she explained to me about the menu and about the Iraqi tea.. which is served complementary after every meal . She did it light for me so kind! I wanted to sleep at night so she suggested to have it anyways but slightly lighter than they usual serve it. I will be returning for sure with friends and family Thank you!!
