New Jade in Glasgow City

Discovered this takeaway a few months ago after trying several others in the area. We won't order anywhere else now. Breast of chicken curry is delicious and the salt n chilli chicken is flavourful and not too spicy. Proper type of chips you'd expect from an old school Chinese takeaway, piping hot fried rice and loads of lovely crispy prawn crackers. We've never had a bad meal or bad service from here and our delivery usually arrives very quickly but maybe living nearby helps! Don't let the shop front put you off. It's better than you'd expect.

Worst Chinese av ever tried 20 quid for 2 cans of juice cos the munch went in the bin n took about 2 hour to come

I discovered this take away a couple of months ago, the quality of the food and the quantities that they give you are better than most Chinese takeaway in the West End. The shop does not look much from the outside but don't let that put you off. I have been back several times since, you should try the meal for two you won't be disappointed, they will even make changes to suit. The service is first class and I would fully recommend this place for your dinner.

Disapointed with food this evening. Curry was very watery and the chicken was tough. Whats happened...has the chef changed.

Ordered a plain chicken chow main. They got the order wrong, went back to the shop to inform them. The young girl on the desk just looked at me and done nothing for a solid 10 minutes. Customers watching were also puzzled. Next minute the kitchen staff comes out, assuming the manager. Spoke to me about knowledge and that I should state no veg. Comedian. Plain/No Veg, same thing. He then lost the plot, shouting at me to get out his shop. What kind of service is that... Young girl wasn't even old enough to understand what was going on either. Get someone on the desk that a legal working age and your orders will be correct. Think the big man should focus more on cooking than arguing with his customers. Terrible service.

Very disappointed. I have been a customer of this takeaway shop for roughly 3 years. Tonight i phoned a £36 order which took roughly 45 mins to arrive. When my buzzer intercom started to ring i answered it only to see on my camera intercom the grey haired delivery driver standing with his hands in the food eating some before he came up with it. Little did he know my intercom had camera. The reason this was easy for him to eat the food was due to the shop putting the whole big order in a open cardboard box rather than a closed tight knotted bag. When he came to the door i raised this behaviour with him and denied it. But my self and family witnessed it. I then phoned the shop to complain and was told sorry then hung up on me. I then drove to the shop to speak to the manager and was told he believed his driver. In my opinion he knows what the driver done but the manager was annoyed at a large order wasted. Therefore as a manager he done nothing to resolve this. This was extremely shocking and disappointing after my years of custom in here. All i can say is i wont be back and the grey haired driver should eat his own free shift meal if he cant afford his own food. Or maby the Jade should feed him before the shift starts.

What ever happened to new jade the food is rotten the poor delivery driver was so upset when she arrived because they had sent her to a few wrong addresses on the same night I want be ordering from them again

To me this is a very average Chinese catty out shop The food was average and the prices were average too This was recommended to me a few years back but wasn't as handy as other places.The food thenwas, I feel a bit better quality but it was still okay

Just got a delivery from them and oh my gosh it's amazing and highly recomend the curry spring rolls even my son loves them. Great prices great portions and amazing taste food was lovely and hot

Our usual Chinese was closed as its a Tuesday, can honestly say never received a takeaway so hot and fresh. Might be our new "usual chinese" generous portions and very tasty.

Tried the new Tik Tok trending chicken curry ball tonight it was delicious would recommend it.

Food is really nice can’t complain about that but the woman on the phone needs to chill out a little bit talks 100mph doesn’t give you a chance just rushing you on the phone haven’t said that everything else is brilliant

Called in here on the recommendation of 2 different friends an I wasnt disappointed, friendly staff an quick service everything I had was delicious I will be back to try more dishes from the menu. If your in area an are hungry for some Chinese food give New Jade a try you won't be disappointed 👍🏻

We had our first experience of the new jade menu last night and can honestly say that it was the best chinese takeaway we have had in years. Every one of the seven dishes and sauces we ordered were excellent as was the delivery service. Thank you. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Have ordered here for a while now but the last 2 weeks it’s been terrible. They must have a new chef that does not know what seasoning is. waste of money I will never get from here again

Lovely food . I enjoyed the sweet & sour chicken hk style , one of the best I have tried along with the salt & pepper chicken just so yummy. This will now be my regular Chinese for definite. Definitely recommend
