ordered takeaway received the wrong order, and the food was replaced with tasteless cold food, no apology all it matters to the restaurant is to get back the wrong food, and will never use inferior food and service again.

Worst Chinese ever. Rubbery prawn toast, soggy ‘crispy’ chilli beef, globby rice you could make models with. It wasn’t very hot, the chicken satay was more like a chicken curry and not a taste of peanut at all. They didn’t deliver some of the food and when we phoned to ask they made such a song and dance about it we gave up. Do not use this place! 🤮

Order in Uber eats took 2 hours for my food to be delivered. Called restaurant and the lady over the phone was very very very rude when I just asked where my food at as I have waited 2 hours she said it coming but started to laugh and being very rude I told her if I could have refund and she said no when I paid 20 pounds for the food. She kept being very rude and hanged up on me. I will never order from them again

I have ordered from here a couple of times now, all the dishes I have chosen have been very nice. The crispy seaweed is a nice large and crispy portion. The noodles are very tasty too. For some people the dishes may be a little salty making you quite thirsty afterwards, but for me that wasn't an issue as I enjoyed it. The quality reminds me of the traditional takeaways I used to have when I was younger, so I will definitely be ordering from here again.

I have used this place, quite a few times over many years, mainly because it it has a 4 star rating, and does lovely big homemade pancake rolls and is near home. Unfortunately something has changed. Was a little bit apprehensive about ordering on this occasion again from here, as the last take away I had from here lacked something, taste mainly. This time was a complete disaster. I know when you get something bad the first port of call is with the supplier, and after using this place quite a few times it may seem wrong when you only write a review if you are not happy, but never the less I thought people should know. The management, would have maybe replaced the food or offered a refund, if I had complained, I don't know, I just wrote it off. My wife bit into the pancake roll and revealed a black hair, which she pulled, it went on and on, very long. Do I need to go on. Ok I will, it was not fresh, lukewarm, must have been reheated, as they are normally scalding hot and drip the frying oil a little. This was dry, microwaved. She didn't touch anything else. But I had to check out the rest. The hoi sin sauce that goes with the duck has changed colour, and I noticed this the last time, from the traditional brown, to deep red. The taste is not Hoi sin. The BBQ ribs are similar, used to be BBQ like, but now covered a bland red sauce, very like what comes with duck. Prawn chow mein, no flavour, bland. Prawn crackers, some white and fresh, mainly hard brown reheats. Cucumber and spring onion dry, limp and obviously been cut days ago. This order was made early on a Saturday night, but I got the feeling this was reheated Fridays left overs. I love a Chinese, but this was bin material. Sorry New Hong Kong you have blown it.

This is my most favourite takeaways. The lady is always friendly and helpful. Even when busy, they get the food out in a reasonable time, the most I've ever waited is 20 minuets. Most of all the food taste great, I've never had a problem with this place, other than finding a parking space outside.

Visited once a month for last few months and it’s generally been good especially the Singapore rice noodles, special fried rice and chow mein. The crispy duck and sesame prawn toast are also good. It’s run by a friendly family who I have always found polite. Prices are fair. I would suggest that it’s the best of the four Chinese restaurants on Baker Street, Enfield.

typical of chinese takeaways. food is good, expensive when you order a proper meals worth but that's all of them.. if you're just having a chow mein then you're all good! i rarely have it. i'd rather go buffet and get value! just saying.

Not the best food it was hot.just bland and no flavour.delivery was quick but that's the only plus for me chips were either reheated or just stale curry sauce had no taste at all and to be charged for delivery when I spent nearly 70 pound is a bit of a take on only a pound I no but regardless no others do that on a big order.but I tried it and it's not for us food very bland

This is the second time I've ordered from this place and the food was really nice both times! I can't speak for delivery as I have collected the food both times, but the food was ready 10-15 minutes both times.

driver charged me 27.70 when my order clearly says 27.10??? plus I left a note to say ring me when outside and he pressed the bell twice within 1 minute gap. not happy

This is my local Chinese takeaway and I've used them for over 10 years. Love their food, love the friendly staff and the service is always five star.

Chips were dry and tasteless and the food was just all round greasy and nasty. It gave me heartburn afterwards and left a rather unpleasant taste in my mouth which I couldn't get rid of.

Food arrived early which was a pleasant surprise on a Friday night. Prawn toast was delicious as always, they gave a generous portion size of crispy duck (with pancakes). I tried the roast duck Cantonese style, which although has a bright artificial looking colour is really tasty and comes in slices of nice crispy onion. Would order again.

Delivery time was quick but the food was so bland, singapore fried rice was not spicy and the pork looked old. The prawn schwezwan was full of vegetables, spicy but still bland. Wouldnt order from here again!

I ordered the chilli ribs. I don't know how you can sell these as ribs as there was not one rib in them. There was prices of cartilage with the smallest amount of meat on them. These were practicality inedible and not worth the money they charge.

We ordered two portions of tofu in a satay sauce with rice, but when it arrived it was very bland and there was no satay sauce in sight. Overall didn't like it and wouldn't order again. Positive was good portion sizes.

JUST LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR EVER We have been using New Hong Kong for over ten years, and on the very few occasions we've had issues with quality they've been dealt with politely. Not this time!! This meal contained a Special Fried Rice which was an insult to Chinese food, all it contained was burnt egg fried rice with two prawns, two tiny rubbery bits of inedible chicken and one piece of veg, nothing else. The whole tub went in the bin. I contacted Just Eat first and explained to the operator Ren that I'm a very regular customer and don't want to leave a bad review because I'm usually really happy with their food (I've even left glowing reviews in the past). Ren then contacted New Hong Kong and tells me the woman there was extremely rude, refused to acknowledge the problem or do anything to rectify it and then started arguing with him. Great customer service! Thanks Ren, and sorry you bore the brunt of that horrible person. So, rude woman at New Hong Kong, congratulations because we will never ever buy from you again. Not just us, but other friends and family too who did frequently buy from you so that's around 20 take away meals each month of £30 - £40 a time. If this is how you treat loyal customers then you don't deserve any of our custom. Well done - and thanks Just Eat for trying to help.

They missed 2 items from the order and by the time it arrived the rest was cold

Low quality ingredients made the taste feel hollow. Chicken felt like it had been stored for a long time and had strange aftertaste. Stomach ache the following day.

The food quality was quite poor. The Black bean sauce was almost water and tasteless, same as the Kung Po Sauce. The vegetables to accompany the crispy ducks were cut in a neglected way too big. Not ordering any more here.

Placed order at 7pm. Food arrived late at 8:30pm. It was warm not hot which was disappointing. Far too long to wait. Paid on debit card when I ordered and I called up to find out where food was 5 mins after the delivery time which moved by 5mins later when I checked on just eat. Called the restaurant and lady at restaurant was shouting at me that the driver had just left to deliver to me at 8:10 and then hung up on me. I called back 15 mins later. Driver must have dropped to other addresses as I only live 5 mins drive at that time of day. Cold chips and rice was just about warm which was not that enjoyable. Gutted.

I've ordered loads of times from here and always enjoyed the food. This time however it wasn't up to it's usual standard in taste. The pancake rolls are usually delicious and not oozing fat, but this time I couldn't eat it... to me it tastes like a pepper pot incident. The rest of the food all round was under its usual par.

I requested for my order to arrive at 7:30pm, it arrived 6:45pm- 45 mins early which we didn't want. The duck was horrible, the egg fried rice was tasteless and the chicken curry was cold. Wouldn't order from this restaurant again!
