Ordered a variety of chinese food tonight 10 july it was the worst ive ever ate, ive never ate from here before but my partner used to always order from here and said it was good so tried it...worse chinese ive ever had no taste to any of the food id compare it to eating cardboard salt and pepper over fried no salt or pepper taste and just tasted like a bad over cooked chicken nugget plus tough how u manage that i dont know same with salt and pepper ribs too chow mein was okiesh chicken balls dry as my hard walls not ordering from here again 🤮

Always order from here, never usually no issues. Tonight I ordered £30 worth of food, the food come and it was absolutely vile! Rang them up to explain and the woman told me it was the same chef as always not sure what’s happened. Anyway come to my house and then the woman told me she cooked the meal and nothing wrong with it and she won’t deliver to me again. Only refunded me £20 bit of a joke and started laughing at me, really rude and inconsiderate!!

Great food, mushroom omelette was great and the container box meals are brilliant for one. Only complaint is cash only no card…2024! 🤦🏻

Ordered for the first time last night and loved every single bite! I’ve ordered from few other Chinese restaurants in harlow, and not going to lie, not good. Couldn’t seem to find a place good as my local one back in Hackney, until I came across New Harlow. Definitely will be ordering again!

So glad we finally found a nice Chinese in harlow. Chinese is usually my least.favourite takeaway as I always find it incredibly greasy and I seem to get a reaction and my face is always puffy after Chinese however this Chinese is not greasy at all. The food is cooked to perfection and we love the prawn curry they are so generous with their portions and we find them to be incredibly priced too. It’s our new favourite takeaway and we will always return. They deliver within the timeframe and are always polite on the phone. Thank you for lovely food.

I moved to harlow 2 years ago and have struggled to find a chinese takeout that was worth the money and tasted decent. Had a leaflet come through the door, and thought i would give this place a chance, the food was amazing ,hot, fresh, big portions, and most importantly delicious. The shop itself was spotlessly clean, and the lady serving was very welcoming and friendly. This will be my new go too! Cash only.

Getting expensive for ok Chinese food. Lacks the authentic taste, little on the bland side, some items are on the small side/portions (large chips are small as they use small bags). Their website is useless no menu with current prices.

First time ordered from here and it was the best Chinese we've had in ages will definitely be ordering from here again service was excellent and delivery was also excellent

New to the area and the Chinese was recommended by a friend but I was sceptical because of the name. I needn’t have been because this was the best Chinese I’ve had, really reasonably priced and quick delivery on New Year’s Day! We ordered lots of food and everything we had was amazing.

Food tasted nice ate at 8pm. Something's not right as I've had really bad upset stomach from 2am and really feel I'll. I'll definitely never order from this place ever again. Never before have I felt like this after a Chinese meal. Be carefull ordering from this place

Finally got to try the food and can confirm that it was well worth it

Ordered sweet and sour pork balls and got curry sauce instead of sweet and sour sauce and now food has gone cold will not order from them again!!! After 30 mins another sauce turned up yet again curry sauce it is a disgrace my food is now cold.

Waited 2 hours for a delivery that i was told would be an hour constantly calling them after 1.5 hours and being told it is on its way. 😡👎 Wont be ordering again

best ever chinese, really lovely staff too

We ordered our food nearly 2 hours before actually receiving it. we were told it would take 1 hour to prepare and deliver it, by the 1.5 hour mark we decide to go and collect it ourselves. We had called the restaurant repeatedly to try to get an update on our order but the phone was constantly busy and it was impossible to get a hold of any staff member. During the time it took us to drive to the restaurant ourselves, the food delivery driver had attempted to deliver the food while we were out of the house on the way to collect it. Total nightmare, definitely not how you want to spend your Saturday night. While we waited at the restaurant to receive our returned food, other customers were in the same situation and others were calling to cancel their orders because delivery was taking far too long. Regardless of how good your food is, this was poor service. Won’t be ordering from there again.

I had add 141 chicken fried rice and Number 82 beef with ginger and spring onion it came to £8.60 and made two dinners. Added myself two glasses of wine lovely food enjoyable evening in....

Fantastic food. Tad to much salt but absolutely lovely.

Don't make their own chips! They were soft on the outside and dry on the inside. CHIPS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CRISPY ON THE OUTSIDE AND FLUFFY ON THE INSIDE. I only live a minute walk from the shop. Wings sell bought in chips but theirs are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They're a Chinese not fish and chip shop!

We regularly use this place as it's local. The cod is always fresh and well cooked with a good batter. The chips let it down though, huge portions but can be dry. They need to improve them. Very friendly staff.

looked nice and clean very friendly food looked ok but not very happy with the sweet and sour prawn balls was over cooked and the fried rice needs more content.but had a very bad stomach through the night not happy some thing was not done right.sorry to complain on this review.
