Excellent range of competitively priced meals, easy to order, and meal ready when I arrived to collect.

The prices have gone up and the quality is getting worse. Cheaper ingredients, thinner sauce and more and more onions. I'm not even sure chunky white onions are supposed to be in Chinese cooking? This was the best Chinese locally, now not sure. Will try somewhere else.

Takeaway ordered for 4 people and collected in person. This was all straightforward. The food was dreadful. No taste every dish differed in slight colour. Supporting local businesses - won’t be returning here. Satay chicken, chicken curry, pawn chow main, chicken and cashew. Special fried rice. Egg fried rice.

We used to go to Kings in Odiham until is closed. We struggled to find anything as good until we ate here. Absolutely lovely. Meat and prawns were tender and we were impressed with the overall taste. We now have our go-to Chinese and it’s literally around the corner.

We had a delicious takeaway dinner. We were having an extended family gather and didn’t want to cook. Ordered a large selection of starters, crispy duck and a dish from each section of the menu. All were really delicious. The meats were tender in all of them. Thoroughly enjoyed it and definitely recommend.

Happy fountain Chinese food at the vern church Crookham had many lovely meals from them but today we had the best experience with take away food from them the meal was outstanding fresh, hot it was outstanding if you haven't tried them please do you will never be disappointed

Ordered 1/4 duck and chicken fried rice. Chicken fried rice was just boiled rice with chicken and egg added in. Got food poisoning.

Proper Chinese food,no cutting corners on quality like some others in Fleet.Authentic dishes cooked to order so be prepared to wait a while.

Have you changed hands? The Sichuan beef was nice and tender but overly sweet. The stir-fried veg was barely cooked (broccoli). The crispy seaweed had about a tablespoon of sugar on it. The Egg-fried rice was tasteless. Such a shame as I haven’t had a problem in 2 years of regular ordering. I know you were very busy but………

Having struggled to find a decent Chinese for the past 18 months, finally ventured to happy fountain. No complaints, it’s actually chicken, not the pre-cooked frozen strips I’ve had at more expensive places. The toffee sesame banana dessert is my boyfriends ABSOLUTE favourite. Definitely the best we’ve had from the area!

A little more expensive than our previous choice but it's definitely worth it. You get chunks of meat and not fat only. Good portion sizes

Small portions with a severe lack of meat, soggy wet fried rice, tasteless, expensive and long wait for takeaway. Only visited as my usual Chinese takeaway was closed, its safe to say that I won't be returning.

When we want to reward ourselves for a particular achievement, or if we just feel that we deserve a treat, we'll get a delivery from the Happy Fountain. They serve what we like and they prepare it the way that we like it. The service is attentive and helpful and we've never been disappointed by what was delivered.

We've had a few take-aways from here over the last few months and have always been happy with the food. The Honey Barbecued Spare Ribs are a favourite. The Sweet & Sour and Yellow Bean dishes are also very good

Egg fried rice was boiled rice + egg. Sweet and sour sauce was literally blood red. Great if you are a vampire but I cohldn't eat it.

I love this place, the food is always amazing. Was slightly disappointed last night, to find that the veg in the stir fry veg has changed. There were no sugar snap peas and the super tasty mushrooms have been swapped for regular ones...I would rather pay a bit more to have the old selection back! It was brilliantly cooked and service was fantastic as usual.

Best Chinese I have found in fleet, great range of food always of high standard. Usually find most Chinese takeaways to be greasy but have not found this with Happy Fountain. Always order on the phone and collect 10 mins later and It's usually ready when I arrive. Service is always friendly. Well worth a try.

I always used Hos for takeaway and they are good but don’t deliver, HaPpY fountain deliver and the food has always been good on every occasion , can not fault and use them often now

I get take aways regularly and have used these guys often. So far the only problem for me is that they close for a break on Tuesdays. Good quality meats instead of the disguised poor quality that you get so often. Charming service on front counter. They deliver to selected areas too but I haven’t tried this yet. Recommended.

So happy I found this Chinese takeaway!! The food is flavoursome and hasn’t got that greasy, synthetic taste that a lot of Chinese takeaways have (the ones people refer to as a ‘dirty Chinese’) the meat and seafood is good quality and the telephone orders are taken by a really polite and professional person and they delivery has never taken very long. Thumbs up!

Descubrimos la nueva fuente Feliz para llevar algunos meses atrás cuando el que utilizamos para frecuentar cerrado. Las críticas anteriores que vimos era algo desagradable, pero el negocio había cambiado de manos y los comentarios eran para los dueños anteriores. Tenemos una comida para nosotros la mayoría de los fines de semana. El personal es muy amable. La comida siempre ha sido genial. La entrega es casi siempre a la vez que decir cuando pides (Sólo se me ocurre una ocasión cuando se retrasó un poco). Fuertemente de ellos.

Muy buen servicio al cliente, aunque tienden a conseguir nuestro pedido entregado ahora. Siempre llega en buen momento y la comida es siempre caliente. Las raciones son buenas. Los fideos Singapur con una buena cantidad de verduras, gambas y carne (a diferencia de algunos sitios de comida para llevar). El pato y char siu plato es yummers (realmente quiere saber qué está en la salsa). Siempre me pides la sal/langostinos chili, pero los que había tenido recientemente mucho mejor sobre ellas (no me ordenando de nuevo). Por favor, por favor no cambie el servicio de atención al cliente, comida y porciones que ofrecen todo completamente delicioso. :-)

As regular customers we find the food is consistently good here. Not the best takeaway you'll ever find, but it's the best in the local area.

Esta es la tercera comida que hemos tenido desde la nueva fuente feliz y cada uno ha sido excepcional. Como carnívoros y vegetariano hemos estado muy impresionados con tanto los platos que se ofrecen. El Tofu con salsa de alubias y cajú es particularmente amarillo excelente. Las comidas son una buena relación calidad-precio con un montón de carne y el tofu en cada plato. Crucialmente no parece haber ningún gms en platos así que no despertarse en medio de la noche con una sed insaciable!

Food was good and still very hot when I got home. over all very nice. Large portions and very tasty. Also went there on a Tuesday when unfortunately they where shut and had to go some where else.

We are relatively new converts to the Happy Fountain and thought that all Chinese food was much of a muchness. Not here. The food tastes so fresh with some of the standard dishes tasting so different and much better than before. The staff are also very polite and friendly especially compared with other Chinese takeaways in church crookham!

Not being bothered to cook due to the heat. We thought we'd have a treat. I am glad we did. The food was lovely and a good price. We will defo be back.

Love this take away as it has a wide range of vegetarian options not just the bog standard vegetables in sauce, unlike most other Chinese takeaways in fleet. Service is really good ant the people are really nice .

We had the Lemon Chicken and Beef in Oyster Sauce with special fried rice. All 3 dishes were well cooked and tasty - portions were ample as well - a very satisfied customer.

We've tried a few in the area and this is definitely the best.I judge a good chinese on their duck pancakes and these are great!Not sure if they do free prawn crackers but that would be a bonus.

Having read the recent reviews following a change in management I decided to try it out when my wife was away. I had not been for many years and I will not be back again. I had the chicken, garlic salt & chilli starter and the chicken was very chewy which was a disappointment. I went for the King Prawn Kung po with boiled rice and the rice was fine! As for the Kung Po dish it was in what appeared to be a base sweet & sour sauce, but no fruit, and a couple of small slices of chilli with sone slices of water chestnut. The sauce was not at all spicy. Not what I expected and was a very poor version of Kung Po.Regretfully I cannot recommend this takeaway and I will not be going back.

Very tasty food and plenty too. Enjoyed a recent takeaway. Had given this place a wide berth previously as had found the food a disappointment. But under new stewardship the place has been turned around. Will be returning.

My husband and I were staying in Crookham Village visiting family and we decided to order in for dinner. We chose The Happy Fountain as the people we were visiting had good experiences ordering from this restaurant. We had a take-out menu and were able to make selections easily. We called in our order and were told the amount due and the time for delivery. They delivered our order on time and it was exactly what we ordered - no problems. As there were 7 of us, we ordered a lot of food. When compared to what I am used to from Chinese take out in the US - the portions from the Happy Family were on the small size - so the many different dishes was well warrented. Some of what we ordered was Kung Pao Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, Prawns with Ginger, Prawn Crackers, Lemon Rice and several more dishes. For the first time when ordering Chinese take away - there was no left overs. The food was good, but different than what I am used to in the states - but this did not diminish the experience. The odd part was that we had to order rice separately, where I am used to having it delivered as part of most of the dishes. There was certainly a lot to choose from and making a decision was difficult - but we found something to suit every taste. We did eat it Chinese style, where everyone shared all of the dishes. A very good meal all around. Sometimes it is odd getting used to eating dishes that you are familiar with at home - that are different than you are used to - but give it a try as it opens up whole new vistas for the adventurous traveler. While this was not the Chinese food that I was used to - it was a very good meal. Don't hesitate to try the Happy Fountain - good service, reasonable prices, fast delivery and good food. Who could ask for more?

Recently moved into the area so went on a mission to check out the Chinese available- having done the same back in Godalming where we lived for 12mths after moving out of London. This place tops the list so far and is on a par with Lotus in Milford and Wing Hung in Shalford, and our favourite local place when living in London. When we went there was a sign stating under new management - so would suggest giving it another try.

Called in for a takeaway on New Year's Eve after hearing it was under new management. We had lemon chicken, prawns with ginger and spring onions, house special fried rice, spring rolls, prawn crackers, mixed vegetables and crispy duck pancakes.....what lovely food it was!! Would definitely visit again and would recommend too. Service was quick and efficient!

What a difference, I used to quite enjoy the New Happy Fountain, now called the Happy Fountain. The food is really superb! Great flavours, no zany added colourings, the pork balls are the best I have ever tasted! Tender, juicy.The service is brilliant, the lady on the phone is excellent, if you have a complaint they are quick to respond and help, I have now had 4 take aways from here and they have all been superb. The deliveries are definitely quicker than they used to be.My mother can't eat Chinese as she gets really ill on it for some reason (perhaps MSG), but here, she has had 3 take aways and can eat them just fine.I think the quality of the food and service is great, I recommend you given them a whirl....

Since my last review in October following the change of ownership we have now had a further 3 meals from here and each have been excellent. I hadn't responded to the owner who did reply to my last review, as I didn't want to have a meal that was prepared 'specially'. The sweet and sour chicken (and pork) ball have been light and crispy, no dry meat inside. I haven't had the chop suey since but can only help its no longer bright orangey-pink. Some of our favourites are delicious - crispy beef and the singapore noodles. Still don't like the peking or garlic/chilli ribs with the slightly sweet light batter that are on them - really doesn't sit well, but husband likes them so its a matter of personal taste.Overall much much better and I hope they continue to impprove as time goes on and are a continued feature at the Verne for many years to come!

This is now the 'Happy Fountain' - it changed hands and re-opened on Wednesday 28th October 2015.This has always been our favourite for chinese take out but have to say was disappointed with our meal from the new owners. Tonight we had sweet and sour chicken balls (overcooked with hard batter, dry chicken and very greasy), a third full pot of sweet and sour, Barbecue Spare Ribs (covered in sugar glaze and no sauce?), Char Sui pork (very tough and dry with hardly any sauce), Beef with Mushrooms (chewy beef), boiled rice (very sticky) and Chicken Chop Suey (a very orange/red colour!). Tried to ring to 'discuss' but they were permanently engaged. May give them another chance but I am worried that the change of management will mean a change of take out for us :-(

Very bland food and very expensive compared to other takeaways in area would not use again. Dirty smelly looking interior need serious refit i will stick to new era in ancells farm knocks this takeaway for six.

Tried twice & mixed up the order on both occasions. First time husband stopped off on way home to get a simple chicken curry & rice instead he got some kinda satay sauce? Next time we had a larger order & they forgot the sauce that comes with the bbq ribs so they were very dry & the jury is still out on the sweet & sour, I think they made it with orange juice not pineapple. It was OK but not what u expect. Chicken balls, rice & chicken curry this time was quite nice though. Think we will try a Chinese further afield in future.

Awful! We ordered here often and a few times they would forget something but brought it straight back out! This last time was shocking, they forgot rice and when I spoke to the girl on the phone she said I would have to wait 30 minutes for more rice, then when I opened the dish I ordered I found something I didn't even order, so when I rang back again the girl on the phone tried to tell me I ordered beef not chicken! Manager reused to speak with me, girl on the phone is incapable of taking orders! 1 30 minutes later they said they are not bringing what I ordered out and hung up! Never ordering off them again!

We ordered Chinese for collection from here for my husband's birthday in May 2015, as it's really conveniently located from our house. Whilst the food was good, we were really disappointed to find that a dish had been missed from our order, and something else had been given in it's place. I called back and they said they'd give us the missing dish, but when my brother-in-law went to collect it he had to wait and they made him pay for this missing dish. Meanwhile the rest of his food was going cold at home and he was missing a family celebration, so we weren't impressed.The week after we had friends over and they fancied chinese, so we thought we'd give it another go since the food was good. Unbelievably there was yet again a dish missing from my order when I got home. I called and said I was pretty unhappy since this had happened to me the week before, and the lad on the phone was confused if not nonchalant, and certainly not apologetic. I went to collect the missing dish and said how I doubt I'll be using them again since they'd messed up our order twice within a week, and he just said 'OK then', without even saying he was sorry. It's a shame because the food is good, but usually when we have chinese takeaway we have friends or family with us, and it's such a hassle to find that food is missing that it's just easier to order from somewhere further away, especially when New Happy Fountain don't seem the slightest bit interested in improving their level of service

Recommended by a friend that lives locally Fleet. We don't live far, only in Yateley and we love chinese so we thought we'd give it a try. People seemed smart looking and polite in the takeaway which is always good for a start, occasionally we have a great conversation with the guy and lady behind the counter which seems very friendly and surprisingly it didn't take such a long time because we were too busy chatting to the lady behind the counter, even though it was on a busy night. Food taste brilliant always pipping hot and fresh, packed full of flavours. We'll rather to pay a little extra for something that we know is good. Hopefully we'll be back soon.
