New Golden House in Woking

Yet again delivered a poor service. Food arrived late. Was stone cold and the delivery driver was very rude. Have been coming here for many years but they will no longer get my custom. Would advice others to avoid this place

We have been coming here for years and the food is always exceptional! Super fast and friendly service. It is very good value for money. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Ordered home delivery, arrived in 15 minutes, piping hot, exactly as ordered, food was excellent, pancake roll nice and crispy and big.

We have used New Golden House over quite a few years and must say the food has always been excellent. The set meals for two are a particularly good option. We highly recommend.

Our favourite take away Chinese by miles, always tastes amazing, is piping hot and they’re decent portions. They do get super busy so can be hard to place an order but that speaks volumes about the quality and popularity. Highly recommended

Popped around my mums we decided to stay and get a take away. Took a while to get through on the phone - good sign either phone taken off the hook because they trying to catch up on orders or lots of people trying to get through. Asked for delivery and told it would be about an hour. Wasn’t a problem. I had already written down everyone’s order and the menu number by the side. The gentleman was polite and took my order efficiently. Our order arrive around an hour. The delivery man followed all safety guide lines which was fantastic. The food was plated up (which was still hot ) and ohhhhhh I can honestly say it was the best Chinese I had ever eaten. The rice was light and fluffy. The chicken balls had more chicken in them then batter. Usually they are all batter!!! Everyone stated it was fantastic. No one could fault a thing. Can’t wait for our next take away, I know what we’ll be ordering.

I enjoyed a takeaway from this restaurant once it had reopened following the strictest part of lockdown. The food was available very quickly after order and was hot and tasty. I will definitely get from here again.

This is seriously good Chinese great selection of delicious meals from exotic chef specialls to great basics crispy beef is amazing always really busy sign of a great takeaway

First time for delivery from the New Golden House, the crispy duck was delicious and it was let while to shred by us, meaning you know you’re getting what you pay for. Took the time to deliver as quoted when ordering. Will definitely order from here again 👍🏻

Have been a regular for many years , food has always been fresh and of good quality , well packaged and ready on time , the price does keep creeping up so not as good value as in previous years .

This is my favourite Chinese takeaway. They have a large and varied menu with detailed allergy advice. The food is always well cooked and delicious. The prices are reasonable and the service always friendly. I recommend this place very highly. My family love it.

This take away had always great but recently a total let down. Delivery orders have been wrong or had things missing last 3 times . Collection not much better . Rice is always stodgy and chicken either not cooked or dry. Tonight's meal was terrible have contacted environmental health who will collect samples of food Monday . Please check your food is cooked if you order from here

Living up the road we often pick up a Saturday night treat from here. I've never had a bad meal, it's always tasty and at a good price. If you are in the Woking area I can't imagine finding a better option for Chinese food. I recommend the salt and pepper ribs and the chicken balls, but it's really all good. They also tend to give us free prawn crackers, and the young sons working at the till always amuse me.

I have been going here for years. There seem to have been various owners but the quality has always remained constant. Prices have steadily increased but not beyond market rates. There is a huge menu. Overall this is a reliable place and you will always get a tasty meal.

its not easy finding a really good Chinese so when we ordered from this place our hopes were not high, but boy were we surprised, such great food,low price and friendly staff they have a regular customer now

This take away is simply the best! Worth travelling for great, fresh, tasty and great portions of food. If you phone to collect they are always bang on time.
