New Dragon Palace in Fylde

Very expensive for average food . £9 for a chow mien ,more vegetables than meat & £5.50 for salt & pepper chips out pricing themselves.

Have used this takeaway for almost 10years. Never had any issues. Always good food, hot, fresh, friendly drivers, friendly staff.... But! Tonight has guaranteed I will never ever order from there again. I ordered a veggie dish, side of rice, side of chips. Chips, fine, rice fine, main had bits of chicken and pork in! I noticed before I swallowed any. Fine.. Accidents happen. I rang to let them know, hoping for some kind of apology or offer of goodwill. I got told I should have "said vegetarian more clearly!".. I was offered a replacement "at the end of the night when they're quiet". I said no, refund instead please. No sign of this, 5mins before closing. So i chased it up, she said "we're busy so refund can wait". She then sent the driver back to refund me, who has the most horrific attitude ever to be honest and made me leave this review. Ive worked in hospitality all my life and know how much damage a bad review can do. But after tonight I need to warn others. He arrived and asked what happened. Friendly enough. I explained. He also told me "you should have said vegetarian more clearly then shouldn't you. She's not happy" I assume she is the manager. To which I said "she's not happy?" He said "she's not happy about losing out on money!" So, I said "I'm not happy that I ordered clearly, have always ordered the same, no problems, and tonight my food was full of meat. I'm a strict veggie and haven't eaten meat for many years. I'm not happy either" He threw his arms up, said "what a joke" and walked away. I was never a regular customer, I don't regularly have takeaways. But we always order from here for birthdays etc and spend a lot of money... Such a shame. Mainly a shame that their attitude doesn't recognise that a polite apology and £15 refund goes a long way.. Instead you've lost a customer and have gained a very negative review and bad word of mouth.

Food is ok. Just ok. Plenty of meat in the dishes but they all tasted the same. Sent me the wrong soup which annoyed me. Free prawn crackers. They are friendly and it’s handy.

We are vegans so ordered tofu and some vegetable vermicelli, and called the restaurant asking for no egg. The food arrives and I take a bite of the vermicelli to realise I’ve just eaten a bit of meat - there was chicken prawns and beef . I’ve just been vomiting for 15 minutes (first time We called to ask for a refund and the food replacing , they said we had to choose and didn’t apologise for their mistake. Put right off my food, disgusted at the service and will never be returning.

We have always had our Chinese since moving here. It is by far the best Chinese takeaway. So tasty. The mini spring rolls are the tastiest ever. Always arrives hot too Tonight Kung Po chicken and Fillet Beef in black bean sauce.

Ordered a special fried rice hardly any meat & 2 prawns very poor . Not the best quality meat what was in the dish . There are much better takeaways in st annes . Will not be returning .

We ordered a takeaway from here as we have done for several years as we live in a gated house we always ask them to call us when they arrive so we can open the gates they said the order would be about 4o minutes so my wife put the children to bed and awaited there call after 20 minutes which has never happened before they arrived and called my wife who missed the call when we called them they said it was our fault and if we wanted the food we had to go and collect it. Really!!! They would not re deliver and we will never order with them again there loss also the woman on the phone was extremely rude saying they were extremely busy let’s hope for them it continues when we come out of lockdown!!!! Disgraceful

Just had THE BEST veg Involtini and Banana Fritas EVER!!You can taste and SEE is fresh homemade food. Everywhere else I get delivery from, the banana was Black and slammy .. look at this pic instead. Sorry but I eaten the rest of the food :) no pics

Great take away delivery service. Good food too. Will use them again. Recommended to anyone wanting a fast and good quality food service.

Don't bother spending money here because you'll still be hungry. Ordered here on Boxing day, The salt and pepper chips were cold and tasted like cardboard and they were encrusted in salt, the salt and pepper chicken and chilli beef was chewy and didn't taste fresh, ordered chips, rice and curry sauce and the chips tasted like they'd been left out and reheated, the sauce was over the chips and there was hardly any of it and the rice was dry with no curry sauce. Had to throw the lot away and just wasted £20.. The only part of the meal that was edible was the prawn crackers..

Food arrived warm, the salt and chilli chips bland & dry with batter or something on them.. gross! Binned immediatly, rice... dry and bland also, crispy chilli beef or should we say soggy beef, the Worst £21 spent, literally binned everything, may aswell of stuck the money in bin myself 🙄 Never again will i eat there

Was recommended by a friend and I wasn't disappointed, Singapore curry is delicious. I'll certainly be coming here often.

On holiday last year we used this take away. Thought would try it again not sure if it would be as good . But was lovely again . Really fast delivery . Ordered for 7 people we all loved the food.

This is the second meal we have had and to be honest it is hard to beat. Order was taken promptly and told it would be half an hour for delivery which was fine, The girl phoned back 5 mins later saying meal would be delivered in 10 mins. On arrival food was hot and very tasty. Thank you for excellent service.

Only recently discovered New Dragon Palace but very pleased we found them. The food is delicious and the staff friendly and helpful on the phone. My personal favourite is the Roast Duck in plum sauce which is delicious.

Quite far away for us...but great portion sizes..friendly staff who remember us...and can't complain about anything xxxx

Fantastic customer service, our order was delivered before their anticipated delivery time and the food is delicious! My family enjoyed this evening the beef curry with mushrooms (they kindly remove the onions on my request) egg fried rice, BBQ chicken wings, sweet and sour chicken balls, plain chow mein and chips. We highly recommend this Chinese takeaway!

Away for the weekend so was not sure where to order from. Decided to try here . Very fast delivery and we had an order for 5 people . The food was the best we have had for a long time.perfect

I don't know what has happened at the dragon palace lately but the food is absolutely fantastic it did dip for a while last year but we thought we would give it another try and we weren't disappointed everything we ordered was hot and very tasty. The food was delivered on time and chap was very friendly and polite we will be returning. Thanks for a great takeawa

Got a takeaway as a treat for Fathers day. My Dad loved it and so did the rest of us. Would definitely recommend.

Regularly order from here, especially on Monday and Wednesday when they have a four meals for £12 offer...excellent value. Always friendly staff, fast delivery and lovely food.

Enjoyed our meal. Free prawn crackers. Very pleasant delivery driver who apologised for delay but we didn't actually wait too long. Also delivered to us in our motorhome while we were on a short family break. Would recommend.

To start with the food took 11 minutes to arrive at our door from ordering (always a bad sign) the salt and pepper chips were the worst I've ever had, looked like they had been battered and no spice or flavor at all, the beef in my meal was tough and bland, ended up throwing it all in the bin and ordering elsewhere, DO NOT EAT FROM HERE.

We had a takeway from here tonight and it was great. It also came with free prawn crackers. The food was good and it was ready promptly. Seems good value. No complaints from me!

Had takeaway from here last night, most was nice, we had duck rolls which were amazing, and curry which was nice, but then salt and pepper chips which tasted like they had been refried, the shredded duck had pieces of bone in it, as did the shredded lamb.. we did get free spring rolls, prawn crackers, fortune cookies and a bottle of coke though so not all bad

Firstly a family member tried ordering over the phone, only to be passed to three different people who couldn't understand him speaking clear, plain English! So ended up having to hang up and order online after 10 minutes of this! They forgot several items of our order, the "Salt and Pepper chips" were just some sort of bland battered chips, no taste to them at all nor any spice! Same with the "Salt and Pepper chicken wings"; We had to wait 30mins for them to bring the missing items, by this time most of us had either finished eating or had cold food.

Been going here some time now, but never again after tonights fiasco! Ordered our meal over phone to collect there. 2 crispy beef, 2 fried rice. Not a difficult order. Drove the 10 mins home to find only had 1 rice. Phoned them back. They would deliver the rice free of charge but would take 45 mins. Not only that..... They would have to charge us £3.00 to deliver it to Blackpool as it was "a big deal" they were coming all the way here. Funny that, as they have delivered to me many times before and it's free delivery over £13.00 and £1.00 on orders under £13 within 3 miles (which we are). Told them to forget it. Our meal would be cold by then anyway. Beef wasn't crispy it was soggy and not a hint of chilli. Will never return after their attitude. Terrible service.

Received a takeaway menu through the door and as we were having a family get together it was decided to try them for a change. I think the main reason for the decision was the wide selection of noodle dishes and my step son and his fiancee like noodles. Ordered the food via a well known App on my tablet and expected delivery in around 45 mins. The food arrived in around 20 mins, which on a Saturday evening around here is very good. There was lots of food with some freebies (we did order over £45 worth of food). It was hot and tasty and no one complained. All that said it wasn't outstanding so I can only say it was average for the area. We did enjoy it though, went down a treat with a few beers and good company.

This is the 2nd bad experience I've had there, 1st was bad enough but the 2nd time was bloody awful.The food was relatively quick but wen I checked it it was completely inedible and the order was wrong. The batter on the prawn balls was soggy, the so called chicken wings were bits of battered c##p, the prawn toast was like rubber and the chowmein like water.I called them to explain the problem and was branded a lier but was told after some time that if I returned the food I would receive a refund. I took the food back and was immediately set upon by the extremely rude staff who then refused to give me the refund saying they would replace the food. I explained I didn't want replacement food I just wanted the fefund and they threatened to call the police on me even though I had done no wrong. After a lengthy argument I got my money back and was told never to enter their premises or order from them again, no worries there I never will. I don't know was worse the food or the attitude of the staff. Stay well away and order elsewhere.

Sweet and sour chicken to die for. A very special mention to yang and ying for their hard work. Helpful staff, good portions. Would recommend.

Hi I have been going to the dragon palace for quite some time now and it has allways been great UNTIL TODAY. The food came late 35 mins late to be exact so 1hr 20mins it took to cook and travel less than 1 mile .The food was cold and inedible .over cooked meats and prawn toast .Cold rice , soggy prawn crackers , caster sugar YES caster sugar in the seaweed no salt .The list goes on .I rang up to just let them know and to see if it was a new chef who had made mistakes but NO as I found out very abruptly when I spoke to the owner ."My chef has been hear 5 yrs and never made a mistake , you are a liar" I explained that this is not what I wanted I just wanted them to be aware of the situation. This did not happen .A very nice man knocked at the door ( driver) and said "I have come to give you your money back " Great stuff I thought .OOOOOO NO .Driver. "I'm sorry to ask you this but in order for me to give you your money back I need to collect the food . Sorry ".I scraped it off the plates and out of the bin and put in the box it came in (shameful I know) and gave to the driver . We recived the money back.10 mins later the crazy women phoned back saying we had made a mess of the food and what was she ment to do with it now ?(BIN IT).Then we told her what we had to do to get the food together and with a load voice i heard DONT YOU EVER ORDER FROM US AGAIN .and she put the phone down.I referred many people to this place and now wish I hadn't .I will not be revisiting.

Ordered from New Dragon Palace,meal came on time and was hot,meal wasterrible,ordered sweet and sour chicken in batter,meat inside was dark brown(chicken ?),and rock hard,also had fillet steak,i won't even say what that waslike or this won't get printed,i work on building sites,i even eat sandwiches thathave dropped on the floor,but this went in the bin !

After deciding to treat myself to a Chinese, I thought I'd try the above.It's been sometime since I'd last used them and I think they may have changed management, I may be wrong.Order taking was efficient, and I ordered crispy beef in a chilli source and egg fried rice. It was cooked quickly. When I got home and opened the silver foil tub, I was disappointed to see that it was just over half full! Not a good start. There appeared to be a imbalance of the ingredients - a small portion of the crispy beef, virtually half a julienned carrot, 3 small pieces of chilli and no onions. The sauce was heavy with sodium mono glutamate - makes everything too salty. The egg in the fried rice was very rubbery, no pun intended, a perfect illustration of it being over cooked or left to stand.Will think twice when ordering from them again.
