New Bejing Chinese Takeaway in Fylde

Honestly worst meal I’ve had !!! Salt and pepper munch box !! Never seen salt and pepper !! Chicken balls all batter !! Spring rolls no filling and what was in them was tasteless!! Salt and pepper ribs were x 4 tiny squares and again bland So back to lytham for me at least it’s decent and tasty I wish I could leave a better review but I’m afraid not.

I Called as it opened at as knew it would be busy based on previous reviews and it being Saturday night . Was told could not do a timed delivery for 2 hours time but current delivery time was over an hour so to accept or to that or try later . Food then arrived ridiculously quick in 20 mins and missing “free” prawn crackers for the 3rd time ordering in row. Good Chinese food and reputation but logistics need some work and perhaps an online ordering system so timing can be managed and card facilities used.

Over from Ireland on holidays and called in for food it’s really good and service too also accommodated for my daughter thats coeliac

Ordered a takeaway for delivery to where we were staying (Ribby hall) the lady who took our order was very friendly & helpful, the delivery came in around 40min which was fab for peak time Saturday evening. Lovely pleasant driver, wished us a good evening, food was delivered nice & hot. The food itself was fantastic, Singapore chow mein, Cantonese sweet & sour chicken, veg curry, noodles & rice, complimentary prawn crackers (best I’ve had!) beautiful 👌🏼 we are always dubious ordering outside of our usual takeaway at home but this actually topped it. Very tasty food & not salty. Would highly recommended & will use in future! Thank you!

Best Chinese takeaway in Kirkham, not had a bad meal from here yet. Rice is always freshly cooked and clean. Special Curry and boiled rice 👌🏼

I had crispy shredded beef, sauce lovely, beef would have been better on the soles of my shoes. Disappointed!!

The salt and pepper chips were hard and over cooked and never salt and pepper the spring rolls was tasteless the meals we had were tasty but portion size was very small compared to the Chinese in our area. Will not be going to your shop again

First time ordering but will be back. Good value with lovely food. They do yellow bean sauce, which is a bonus, and the chicken was good but a little overcooked. Spring rolls, proper egg fried rice and noodles were lovely. Reasonable waiting time but the shop front is tired and there's not enough seating but it's OK.

This was the worst Chinese I have ever ordered.my 8 year old even said 1 out of 10. The taste and smell was both awful.its all gone in the bin.It was such a shame as it had a gluten free menu but it was vile.I would recommend you stay away.

Delivery is now terrible, used to be an hour, extended to an hour and half due to roadworks which I understand but then I didn't receive food for 2 and three quarter hours after ordering, get another driver or stop taking delivery orders

Ordered for delivery to Ribby Hall Village where we're staying, easy to order & friendly delivery driver. Lovely food, good portions and great value for what we paid. It was worth the wait 😊

These guys are the best. Food is always piping hot and banging. Today my mum gave me 40 quid and said get a takeaway. Ordered salt and pepper chicken wings and a few other bits. I mistakenly gave the delivery driver both £20 notes. He knocked on my door and said you’ve given me too much and gave me £20 back. I really needed that £20. These are good, honest people. Would highly recommend. 5 stars ⭐️ all day long

Called to place an order for delivery at 6pm and was told it would be an hour and twenty mins which was fine. After an hour and forty it still wasn’t here so we called to chase and was told it would be with us in 10/15 mins max. Half an hour later the food showed up which resulted in waiting over two hours. The salt and pepper chips didn’t taste like salt and pepper whatsoever, just extremely salty. Likewise with the salt and pepper chicken, no flavour and it was very dry and tough. The crispy shredded beef came cold, stale and stuck together. The rice was ok & so was the chow mein. Won’t be returning and will go back to east ocean. New Beijing need to learn how to properly manage customers expectations and ensure that if they’re taking over 2 hours to deliver, the food is up to standard. All the food was either cold or lukewarm which we thought wasn’t acceptable.

The fried rice was boiled in the bag rice, tasteless. Salt & Pepper chips were dry as can be. The curry sauce was decent. Baffled how they've stayed open all this time when there's a much much better Chinese a few doors up. 2/10

Placed a big order which was made in good time and everything came as ordered. The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. Would highly recommend and would definitely order again.

Somewhat mixed. The positives: the salt and pepper ribs, prawn crackers and the service. However the chicken with satay had lots of pineapple until we discovered some satay sauce at the bottom we thought it was chicken and pineapple. Bland. As was the fried bamboo shoot, water chestnuts and cashews in yellow bean sauce. Likewise the Szechuan chicken. I wouldn’t choose any of these again.

We can’t tell you in words how good the food is here !! Just order you won’t be disappointed!!

Recently moved to Kirkham and we had concerns that we wouldn't find a Chinese take away that lived up to the one we used back at our old place. Very pleased we've found this one. The food is fantastic, we've anyway been here a dozen times and always enjoyed the food.

Very nice, only thing I could fault was the salt and pepper doesn't have enough flavour, but apart from that highly recommend. The Duck dishes are delicious and you get a good amount.

The food was absolutely amazing nothing wrong with it the food was hot and fresh and the staff couldn't be anymore polite and patient I had such a great experience would recommend to anyone to eat here

We were staying in Ribby Hall for a family vacation and one night we fancied a takeaway. We settled on New Beijing Chinese as the menu looked amazing! When the food arrived we were had received an incorrect item, however when we phoned and explained, the manager said they would bring the correct item straight away! As Ribby Hall is a bit of a maze, I met the manager in the village and collected the correct item. They were so apologetic and nice, even though they didn't need to be! The food was incredible and every single one of our plates were finished 🙌🏻 If we ever come down to Ribby Hall again, we would definitely order again from New Beijing Chinese!

We stayed at Ribby Hall and got a takeaway from here one night. Food was really nice and not greasy at all. We went in and the food was ready in about 10 mins. We heard the lady on the phone say it would be a 45 minute wait for deliveries so I would pick up if you can, rather than wait for a delivery. They have got a 5 star food hygiene rating too. Recommended.

Disappointing...usually go to East Ocean but was closed. Duck was OK not dry but the spring rolls were a complete waste of money so small with nothing inside. What is the point of them?

I was really hopeful as they offered gluten free food for me but both my husband and I felt really unwell immediately after the meal. Stomach aches and headaches which we can only assume can be due to the over use of msg. The pork balls were very greasy and my gf food was clearly canned veg thrown in with cooked chicken and no real flavour. The itself tasted nice. We will be going back to East Ocean.

Doesn't seem to be as popular as the Chinese up the road, but I can't imagine why. Always tastes fresh - crispy in the right places - tender elsewhere! Salt and Pepper Ribs are so moreish, Prawn toast is like nowhere else ( in a very, very good way). Honest and realistic order time estimates too.

We rang the shop at 5pm We were told there are no free offers as stated on the menu. We ordered New Beijing Fried Rice & King prawn Fried Rice, neither were fried. The prawn dish was too dry and tasteless to eat without sauce. Salt and Pepper Chips were nothing like ones we have had before, more like fried in oil, very little onion chilli or seasoning. Half a duck was ok and plentiful, just very dry. Extra chips were too dry. Duck in black bean sauce was nice. S&P Chicken wings were nice. S&P Chicken is ok just very tiny pieces and not a lot of it, making £6.00 price tag expensive. Prawn crackers were the saving grace and we had to argue for them. After expecting a two hour wait as usual the food arrived within half an our, beating us back from the cash machine on site. Wonder if our meal was put together very fast as the driver said he had two orders for for Ribby Hall.

I ordered at 5.00 on the dot. The duck was fresh, crispy and moist, perfect. The sweet and sour Cantonese style chicken is always very good as is the special chowmein. Its always OK to good but the chips and prawn crackers are always on the OK end of that spectrum. So why a 5, well my last duck/chicken Cantonese was the best I've had for the price by some margin. Try to pick a non busy day for best results.

Was staying over in the area an fancied Chinese so looked upon this place glade we did as the food was very good with a large selection on menu! Would recommend if your in area!

Never had a bad meal or service experience with this little takeaway place in Kirkham, and the singular spring rolls are packed with bean sprouts prawns and pork , the veg chow mein is a regular choice too, always very polite, can't find fault.

Took an hour to be delivered but they told us that when we ordered, got the £25.80 for the 3 people menu...(A3) Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Damn, those pork balls were something else. Great value for around £8.50 a head

Got delivery from here a few times now and every time we have its been so lovely, the phone person is very friendly and we have had an overall good experience. Food is very tasty and good for the price. Very good portions of food and always warm enough.

Always great food. Delivery times can be short or over an hour but they always tell you pretty accurately how long, which is fair. Prefer to be told an hour and it is rather than 15 minutes and it's over an hour. Highly recommended.

We eat from here regularly and find the portions generous, tasty and priced fairly. We have never been spoken to rudely and find the staff friendly and polite.

You have to be careful which dishes you order. Some are very good, others like chicken cashewnut or crispy fried beef in chilli sauce are awful. Service always polite and prices are good.

I have been tonight to this takeaway and i am appalled by the food served and the shocking service! I ordered a chicken fried rice, paid £5.60 and there was literally no chicken in it! Just full off egg and peas! I rang to raise my concern and was shouted at by a very ride young member of staff saying thats how they serve it! No apology given just shouting at me over the phone saying they use shredded chicken! More like micro chicken! I am a female, of very petite build and all i can say god help a man who ordered this for a main meal as the quality of chicken was atrocious! The member of staff threw the phone down on me mid conversation then another rude member came on saying if i want refund to bring back to the shop but they want half the rice back!!! i explained i had travelled 15 minutes to collect and by the time i got back got my refund and ordered elsewhere i would be eating at 10pm! She wasnt bothered by this and said im not having a free meal!! The phone was put down then 5 minutes later the “manager” apparently rang back and apologised for the way his staff member spoke and handled the situation but still insisted they now wanted 3/4 of the meal back not half!! Will never use this place again they should be shut down, appalled. Uploaded photos for proof of poor quality!!!!

Had a delivery from here, hot, on time, and good value. The food was tasty and decent sized portions. The prawn toast is particularly good (and free if you order over a certain amount).

When I ordered my food I was told it would be 1.30 for delivery , we waited 2.20 for our food ! When we rang we got no apology , the food was cold , the chips were burnt ! I won’t be wasting my money here again .

Delivery is a big bonus! Really enjoy the chinese curry. and chow mein. Some of the menu is a little hit and miss.....but I tend to stick to the same thing.

We order from here at least twice a month. Always arrives very quick or when they say,also always hot. The women delivery drivers are always chatty and polite as for the guy,well let’s just say he’s a little miserable. I think it’s the best Chinese in the area at the moment and reasonably priced

Takeaways are usually hit or miss, you go to the one that is your usual because you know it. So we decided on a whim to try this chinese, there are a few around (a couple of doors away, a few streets away or even into the next village). Anyway, I am glad I tried it - service is amazingly fast, less time if you go in and wait, but they do deliver. So many options and they will customise your dishes if you ask. Cannot rate this highly enough.

Ordered Salt and Pepper chips expecting spicy hot but I got sweet. Phoned them up to ask why they were sweet as the menu specifically stated this was hot dish. Imagine my surprise when she said they put sugar on top to counteract the heat. Disgusting sweet chips. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the soup was lovely

Just moved to the area and tried this Chinese, BRILLIANT! We're usually a bit underwhelmed with Chinese and often end up the day after wishing we hadn't bothered but the food here was really delicious and we can't wait to go back! Great service and we got a free wall chart which my wife will use at school - thank you!

We tried to order and we're told it would be 1 1/2 hours for delivery 40 mins for collection. We opted for collection and arrived tonne told they hadn't started our order ! Two very very young girls at the counter looked no more than 12-14 still taking phone orders saying the same delivery time even though the place was full of orders backing up! Just ridiculous ! All the staff looked stressed and unhappy and the fact that the counter was being managed by children made us ask for a refund and seek food elsewhere. Obviously a recipe for disaster. If you are hungry so not bother !

Tried this after a recommendation and was totally happy. The food looked and tasted good. It wasn't oily, it looked nice and fresh with plenty of vegetables.

The rice has peas! Which I love. We had chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. Both was lovely and you got lots of chicken too. Food was hot and not greasy at all.

We usually go to another local takeaway but decided to give the New Beijing a try this time - we're glad we did. Really tasty, fresh food. Polite, efficient, helpful staff. Food quickly served. We tried the beef green pepper in black bean sauce - really tender beef and tasty sauce. And the chicken satay - lovely crunchy tasty dish; loved the addition of pineapple chunks too. The dishes were really flavoursome and light. We'll definitely be going back again - and the added bonus is they deliver locally too!

We've visited the New Beijing a number of times. It is by far the best Chinese takeaway around the area. (We've tried them all!) The staff are friendly including the delivery staff, yes they deliver!! which is fantastic as it's really difficult to find a Chinese takeaway to deliver in the kirkham, Clifton, Freckleton area! The food is delicious and always hot even when delivered. The only down side I discovered when I first started to use them was they didn't add much sauce to their dishes. However this was easily rectified, I asked for extra sauce, which they now add to my order and the food is perfect. It's a must try takeaway!

Used for first and last time. Ordered Kung Po, certainly did not get that meal, oither meals just average and tasteless really. Maybe someone should inform this takeaway on the law with regard to child labour. A very young girl, no older than 10/11 who could not even reach the till was serving.
