We are a couple who represent a certain age group. This cafe's staff seems to think it was amusing that when looking for a coffee we also require a toilet. Half a dozen T-shirted young men thought so, and enjoyed a private joke about 'these two are looking for a loo! For clarity's sake we would have a had two drinks also and didn't simply want to use the 'facilities'. Poor show ... we walked out.

Nice little cafe by the Wapping Wharf, with pleasant space, decent speciality grade coffee beans, and execution of varying quality.

Amazing coffee, excellent hot chocolate, delicious miso-walnut-pecan cookie and fabulous toasted banana bread with espresso butter (thanks for the recommendation guys). Will definitely be visiting here next time we're in Bristol

Great vegan food, always cheery and funny service. And the coffee rocks. It's also great to sit outside and watch the floating harbor go by.

It is a pleasure to come here for a coffee and cake. The girls and guys serving are great, very friendly, excellent service, coffee is really good, love the eclectic music and a great view, what more can you ask for? Highly recommended!!

Really enjoyed my visit to New Cut coffee. The staff were so friendly, and we're really happy to advise on the best options. The coffee tasted like no coffee that I had had before. Absolutely loved it. Great atmosphere too. Can't recommend enough.

We tried both heir house blend and a guest single origin (both flat whites). The former was OK and the latter was really nice. Both were well made. Pleasant and spacious inside space and some seats outside. Pretty assertive background music. Normal prices, polite staff.

Stumbled across New Cut Coffee while down at the harbour. Staff are really friendly and the hot chocolate was lovely. Visit the cafe while you're down at the harbour.

Lovely flat white. Nice brownie. The service was...dry. Not overly friendly. Found it all a bit pretentious and it made me feel a bit out of place and not quite cool enough.

… and service lovely vibe. Very clean loos - also has menstrual products for free. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

For anyone who, alas, knows the crushing disappointment when you go into a cafe and get a lacklustre coffee, FEAR NOT! - the drinks here are guaranteed bliss ... your only hesitation will be whether to follow it up immediately with another one, its that damn good. And while the cakes are legendary, for me it’s the lunchtime sandwiches - all vegan, all extraordinary, and brimming with flavour. And ... you will get to know the regulars

Always love their high quality of food and coffee. We tried their sourdough this time with peanut butter (AGAIN, we are in love this combo now 🤓) This one was more crispy and its seeded as well. Love it 😋

Simple. brilliance. warm people. This was one of the places I did not go after a lot of research ..rather just walked and I am glad I did. The food is so simple and yet so brilliant. The hazelnut brownie was heavenly. The sourdough toast could not be better. And the coffee was just right. the location is amazing and the people working here are so warm and friendly

This is a great little coffee shop and I would have given it 5 stars had it not been for the awful music! I am not sure whether the staff are left to put on their own music but it’s too loud and not varied enough, playing such titles as Sonic Reducer by the Dead Boys and All I want by the Spits! 🙉 An acquired taste l’d say, and not for easy listening when chatting, chilling or working! Owner, please, please, more variety and I will come in more often! Aside from that moan, it’s compliments all the way! Great design; very clean; great coffee, cakes and sandwiches; friendly and polite staff! Just the one tweak and you could be the best coffee shop in Bristol!

We popped by for coffee and received a very warm welcome. Excellent coffee and good selection of tasty cakes. Great to see eco friendly focus around the place. All exceptionally clean including a spotless and stylish loo! Highly recommended.

Stopped off at this cafe just for a cup of Green Tea. Pretty expensive one at that, but thats the docks area for you. Inside, very modern design. Staff are friendly, so that's something.

Coffee snobs - I reckon that this could be the best cup of coffee in town. Sitting outside with my flat-white, and making a show of reading an erudite book, with the harbour a few feet from my table. Bliss

Fab coffee, great choice of vegan food and brilliant young owners. There was a choice of 3 vegan spreads simply for toast; this really was exciting! We will be back.
