New Capital Chinese Takeaway in Lincoln

Best Chinese for me in the country but I believe they have been forced to close down due to high rent charges? Food always arrives quickly always piping hot, good prices, good portions and always been delicious for the 10 years we have been using them.

Good food fast service if you can catch them open always closed

Just spent £60 on assorted dishes. Very disappointed. Asked for beef n mushroom....got beef n bamboo shoots . All sauces thick and gloopy like glue ...quite unpleasant. Sorry but not for us .

Always used to be my " go to" when I wanted a chinese as was always good and fast. Got some pork from there last night though, and it was far more fat than meat. Won't be so quick to use them again

We usually use Jade Garden, but thought we'd try New Capital because of the good reviews and it us nearer to our home. It arrived nice and hot and relatively quickly. The food wasn't that good, pancake roll was grease and very little meat. The chop suey was bland, needed seasoning. To top it all, we were overcharged. Would have been £5 cheaper getting it from our usual place. Jade Gardens it is for us in future and the food is better.

Been going here for years. The quality of food is always superb. We had friends from Chester le Street visit us before Xmas. They thought the food was exceptional!!

Extremely busy takeaway but minimal delay and excellent service and food. Recommended.

Lovely food, fair pricing and good delivery service

Very disappointing. Prawn toast was limp, rubbery and tasteless. Spare ribs were sparse on meat, very little meat, the sauce being too sweet and sickly. Special fried rice was not very special, very bland and tasteless, very little meat involved with this dish. Spring rolls were really salty and ended up in the bin. The Cantonese sauce was very sickly. Not a nice meal at all, but did arrive very hot. However, Iwill not buy from the New Capital again.

I had a Special Fried Rice with Pineapple Chicken. It was delicious and very filling, at a very reasonable price. In fact, it was so filling, I could only manage to eat half of it. So now I've got a tasty breakfast too! My only criticism is that there are no plum sauce dishes on the menu - but that wouldn't stop me from ordering again.

Fast delivery (ordered after 9), food arrived piping hot. We had salt & pepper chips, house special chow mein, shredded beef in chilli sauce, curry sauce & prawn crackers. All absolutely delicious, with tender meat, delicious veg and sauces all spot on.

The worst Chinese food I have ever seen , looked so bad , I had to throw it away as soon as I got it home and saw it 2 , pancake rolls , pastry all wizzoned and dried up, inside black and grey beansprouts with some dark grey meat strip ? Pork , looked horrendous. Half the size of what I normally buy too , they should have white beansprouts with chicken and prawns or pork meat in with golden pastry . This looked really bad . I rang the manager who never apologised at all when I told him I had to bin his food . I will not recommend this place at all !

Worst chow mein ever! Soggy bean sprouts and tasted like sea water!

Been going to this takeaway for 18 years even before they moved with the shopping centre upgrade. Absolutely fab! They accommodate my mums allergy to Chicken and shes never had a reaction, so they definitely separate their food, tools and implements according to meats. They also are happy to let us customise our set menu to avoid chicken. Brilliant service and friendly staff :)

New to Lincoln, tried a few different takeaways but this one is definitely our new regular. Good menu choice, great price and friendly service. Not had a bad meal from here nor bad service! Definitely worth a try.
