Worst Chinese we’ve ever had. Soups tasted like they added half a bag of sugar even the curry sauce was sweet. Munchie box was dry & chips had a strange taste.

Got an order from here last night and the meat was raw

Not great, crispy noodles were soggy and it tasted very strange

Foods quite poor tbf, stuck with basics of rice curry and noodles, still something about the taste that made me stop eating it 🤢🤢

The woman at the desk “forgets” items from orders mine and another man who came in for his order, the receptionist she’s ether deaf, dyslexic or dumb. Very unprofessional.

Delivery took over two hours to arrive. Chicken curry was nice however the rice was very hard and the chips tasted like dirty oil. Do not recommend

Food was so poor, Salt and chilli chicken was bland and wet Tasted neither spicy nor even salty enough Both rice and noodles tasted overwhelmingly of oil Sweet and sour was okay at best and spring rolls were the same I ate maybe a fith of my meal at a push and I've woken up in the night vomiting

Always good from here compared to some off the other Chinese takeaways around Wallsend area

Got a special chowmein havnt been here for a few yrs I'd like to say it was one of the worst iv ever had the meat was dry and tough there was no beansprouts just dry noodles went in the bin won't be going back and deft not recommend to anybody

chickens good. there on Uber(very recent), Just eat, but they only take cash in shop. so if you want to pay on card, order first then come in spending over 30£ you get to choose between crackers or springrolls for free over 50£ you get both this info was up to date whenever this was posted

Since new owners everything is pure sugar in their meals, gravy sugary not what it used to be, chicken, rubbery and chewy

Am absolutely Appalled with the standard of food that’s been delivered to my home … Been ordering food from new bamboo garden for years and years even when it was called bamboo garden in holly cross… We ordered the same as normal house special chow main,ribs,sailt pepper chips mini spring rolls and sweet sour sauce and banana fritters … Chow main was not normal the noodles where very thin and clumped together the king prawns one tasted off or just not cleaned was horrible .. the spring rolls were lovely this time but unfortunately came with no sweet and sour sauce … Ribs we’re ok not as nice as normal .. banana fritters … we’ll one was two king prawns in batter stuck together and one was a black banana fritter with syrup underneath … Am absolutely shocked and disappointed we just spent nearly 30 pounds of that meal which was our treat now every time I call no one is picking up … Unfortunately will have to find a new Chinese takeout ..

Recently changed hands but the food has been great. Staff are friendly and deliver food in a reasonable time frame. They have a huge menu which often may need explaining for certain dishes. Quite a few of the dishes contain nuts so obviously people with allergies may need to avoid this.

Crispy chicken is not what u think. Bad stomach all day now! Never going back

Ordered from them on Saturday at about 21:40. The food arrived at around 22:35 but the order was not right, food was missing. Tried calling but no answer.

Lovely food, but think changed the recipe for gravy, didn't taste quite as nice as usual.

Visiting the area today, and thought we'd try some Chinese cooking. Had some chicken foo yung and chicken chow mein. Scrummy delicious. Nice large portions too. Would highly recommend.

Food is very mediocre and the chicken is shiny and smooth when you cut through it. Curry sauce is like water. Staff didn't even say hello when entering or thank you for ordering. She looked at me like me nut was on back to front. Will not be ordering again even if it ment née Chinese food ever again.

Absolutely lovely!! Nicest Chinese I’ve had especially how spicy the salt and pepper chips are! Definitely recommend!

Chow mein is always soggy and overloaded with fat/grease Very stingy on the beef in the rice, looks like flakes of fish food. Wouldn't be surprised if it is as has no flavour Beware of allergies as this restaurant don't listen to notes of allergies and exclude some ingredients like every single other restaurant we order from. Tried to ring to complain or get a refund as it's inedible due to allergies in the family. Completely ignored and left us ringing and ringing and ringing. Will not be ordering from again, only ordered from here as our favourite Chinese was closed this day. Will stick to Jaks Chinese and I highly recommend jaks Chinese, every bite of food is perfect and they actually read notes left on the order. Thanks

I was given the wrong order, called up and the phone goes to voicemail saying "we aren't taking calls, any problems go through JustEat", a bit disrespectful not allowing calls for complaints involving getting the wrong order

Chow mein came leaking white slime allover the bag and was stinking! Took 2 bites out of it and threw it in the bin. Beef in black bean was ok though. Not be ordering from here again.

This place is a joke my household ordered our meals and mine didn't arrive so I had no dinner I myself have rang 50 times with no answer, no refund and clearly no care for there customers. I'm angry that there isn't a zero star.

This is our usual choice for Chinese and food is normally good. On this occasion we waited nearly 2 hours for our delivery and when it came the food was not up to its usual standard and was Luke warm! Think we might try somewhere else next time.

Ordered food on monday, they added king prawns into my husbands food which was not included in the order. My hushand is allergic to all seafood and therefore he became very unwell. I called the takeaway who implied we asked for it in the order which we didn't, we had no apology. Will never be going back, disgusting service.

First order since moving back, food was delicious still piping hot, what more can you ask for? I had my first ever Chinese from this very shop years ago, not the same owners going off other reviews, but every bit as good. I have found my local Chinese, we are very happy bunnies.

Love the place, order form here at least once a week sometimes more. House special chow mein, is something else, makes me levitate off the floor at least 3 inches everytime a sniff the very noodle off it.

This place is going down hill. Asked for my meal to be less spicy and it nearly blew my head off! (second time happening) they obviously don't care

I normally get a take away from here and would normally recommend but on this occasion it is different. As a vegetarian you can imagine how delighted I was when my vegetable egg Foo yung came and it was in fact pork Foo yung, the chips were dry as if they had been reheated not fresh and we always get free prawn crackers but not on this occasion. When we rang up there was confusion over what I was actually try to say and got told that you only get free crackers with orders over £20 I place the same order every time and always get free crackers and when explaining about the Foo yung I got asked if it was a pork Foo yung with vegetables I wanted.

Have just ate from here and as I speak the Mrs has just came back to bed after throwing up and I'm on the edge of throwing up, hot sweats churning stomache etc. This was the food it was horrible the sauce in the chilli and garlic chicken was greasy and watery and don't even start on the so called chicken slimey and jelly like. Ate it because of being so hungry bad mistake. Do not order from here all these 5 star reviews are bull
