Small Deli in a quiet street in Greenwich. Friendly service, premium quality food. World class home made sausages. They've been very very tasty. I'll be back... :)

So many places in Greenwich are now chains, so we were delighted to find an individual business doing it's own thing. The sausages really are quality, and the staff here are very welcoming & efficient. Their 'Flat White' coffee is one of the best I've had. This cafe is very small, so it may not always be possible to get a seat, but it is worth waiting for. We took some sausages home as well, and they were superb.

We visited Greenwich for a 4day birthday break and prior to arriving we googled places to eat. Found good reviews for a small cafe/deli place that made their own sausages...Heaps. On day 3 we got round to visiting Heaps, had their sausage bap for breakfast and it was absolutely the best! We went back on our last day for another and were so impressed with the quality of their sausages, we bought 4 varieties to take home to Cornwall! The guy serving was really friendly and we wished we had gone their sooner. Really lovely little place and well worth searching out if you are in Greenwich.

Every visit to Greenwich always has a visit to "The Sausage Shop" as my grandsons call it. It is one of their favourite spots and one of mine. The sausages are fantastic and the full Breakfast is to die for.The variety of sausages is terrific and if you cant find one to suite your taste, well?.If you visit Greenwich then this shop should definately be on your visit list.Small, not cheap but worth it.

Heap's Sausages is a sausage cafe and small specialist butchery. Artisan sausage production takes place literally in front of your eyes, behind floor to ceiling glass screens just feet away from the handful of tables. The place is the brainchild of chef and sausage impresario Martin Heap, who founded his Simply Sausages business back in the 1990s, and who created the varied recipes (anyone for Recipe 666, Lethal Lucifer?). The pork and leek was excellent, as was a sausage whose ingerdients we couldn't quite guess but which seemed to contain spinach. The menu is short - breakfast, baps, a few burgers; and the combinations are fairly limited - those amazing sausages, excellent dry-cured bacon, and eggs. What makes it memorable are the rich flavours and sheer meatiness of what's on offer, plus the fact it's all cooked to order on a griddle at the front of the shop. You'll never settle for another anaemic fat- and rusk-packed factory sausage again!Service is swift and friendly, decor is simple but stylish, and prices are reasonable. It's licensed, too, if you fancy washing your sarnie down with a half of porter. And you can buy a few links to take away and cook later.

I love to visit Greenwich as often as I can. The Meantime Brewery serves fantastic beer. I can get great fudge at Mr Humbug. Two months ago I found out about Heaps Sausages and the little cafe just off the park is a new highlight for my visits. When I go I typically get a sausage bap and a coffee, then end up taking home bags of sausages. The staff are all very friendly, conversational and love to offer help and advise what sausages to get depending on your taste. The variety of sausages they have is great. I'm eating a New Orleans Cajun Sausage and a Smithfields Breakfast as I write this review. Each time I've been in they've had 5-10 varieties available to take home, and their cafe has a simple, but delicious menu of sausage/bacon/egg options. My only disappointment is when I come by they've always ran out of the "Black Pudding and Apple" and "Beef and Ale" sausages.I travel nearly an hour to get a sausage bap from Heaps. I think that is a testament to the quality of their sausages.A must-visit cafe, and cook their sausages at home and everyone will be asking you where they're from.

Whilst a little pricey, that shouldn't put you off what is a real niche cafe/deli , the service is always great, on my last visit I tried the sweet Italian sausage with my little girl (who is fussy) and we loved it served in a bap for a quick bite before heading to play in the park, this place is a gem!

This is no longer pretending to be a deli. It used to do cakes, coffees, good sandwiches and salads. It may have changed hands - and is now specialising in sausages for some reason - in fact it is no longer called Nevada deli. If you are looking for a deli or a coffee and cake this is not the place to go. You will find the smell of sausages overpowering. My friend and I sat outside. Used to be the best coffee in Greenwich - no longer, and the cake was average too.

Pulitissimo!

This deli sells amazing sausages. It is great for a breakfast or lunch and I always make sure to take my guests from out of town there. The Toulouse and spicy italian sausages are my favourite. Great place to relax with a newspaper and breakfast.

A deli with an edge! 30 seconds from Greenwich park is a must for locals on a Sunday morning and tourists any day of the week. With some of the most happy friendly staff I have ever seen, this Deli/Coffee bar wins hands down. A truly friendly welcoming atmosphere. To drink choose from fantastic coffee, fruit presse or wine by the glass. (£9 for a bottle, yes you are still in London!)To eat choose from a daily home made cake, flapjack or ice cream. If you want some thing savory salad plates, great selection of toasted bruchette or cheese board. This is well worth a vist or three.

This place is great!! Everything's so carefully thought out - the food, decor, seating, quiet music that you can't help but feel at home. I do!! They also have a small selection of hand-picked wines that are divine. If you get there early enough in the evening (ie before it closes at 6 or 7 - it should be open in the evenings!!) then it's the perfect place to have a light-ish meal as you can choose what you want from the deli counter and then hit the bars in Greenwich. I had thinly sliced rare roast beef (a source of pride to the owner I gather), with salad, spud salad, carrot salad, bruschetta and a sausage roll!!!! With a glass of wine. Great place to read the morning papers with a bacon sandwich and have an ice cream too...yes, I am rotund.

As a family we went to the NEVADA cafe for my 2 year's old daughter's birthday and the trouble was started. There was a very arrogant and bossy manager was there were asking me to move my daughter's pram one side to an other (more than three times and each time I had to leave my daughter alone) The cafe is near the greenwich Park so they are trying to be child-friendly cafe but unfortunately the manager has no idea how to deal with a costumers who has babies or toddlers. While we were having a lunch the angry manager asked us to leave the cafe because my two years old daughter was loud. It was clearly some kind of a discrimination against a mum and her daughter. The angry manager put the pram outside of the cafe so we didn't had a choice so we had to leave the cafe. It was a trouble experience towards a family member was trying to enjoy their daughter's birthday party at Greenwich NEVADA Cafe. The service was awful, the hospitality was awful and the manager was awful and I will never be their costumer because of the manager's incapability of taking care of the simple situations like this. It was the worse experience we ever had in a cafe suppose to be a child-friendly cafe.

If you visit Greenwich, you must have a coffee (or wine!) and a bite at this lovely cafe. The food, created by the owner who is as friendly as can be, is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The wine is great value too and they have a nice selection from which to choose. It is small and quaint and hidden down Nevada Street which you would never accidentally stumble upon, but it's close enough to the park entrance to find if you are looking....so be sure to look! I am an American ex-pat living near Greenwich and have brought all my out-of-town guests to the Nevada Street Deli with a 100% success rate. I highly recommend it!

Initially when we arrived all seemed good. The cafe itself looked historic and a bit eccentric, but that wasn't a bad thing, and the cost of the food seemed reasonable as well. The three of us took a seat, had a look at the menu and began to choose what we wanted to order. After about 5-10 mins we'd pretty much decided and then waited to be seen to by a member of staff. We noticed a waitress cleaning tables behind us and assumed that once she'd done that she'd come to us, as the other customers had already been seen to. No such luck. In fact I'm not even sure if she acknowledged us, walking straight past us and continuing to wipe other tables. We waited a little longer hoping she would come over and notice the open menus and lack of food and drink on our table, but the jaycloth was more important. Tired of being ignored, we walked out and left the 1930's time capsule hungry and frustrated.

Normally really impressed with service and value in Wetherspoons pubs, however, this was an exception. We ordered 2 pizzas and waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive (usually Wetherspoons are really quick). When it did arrive, it was plonked in front of us with only a knife each, I realise lots of people eat pizza with their hands (as do I on occasions) however, it was quite a sloppy one, so we asked if we could please have forks. The server rolled her eyes and said she’d she what she could do, but it would be at least 10 minutes. To bring 2 forks??! After 10 mins we asked another bartender, who was polite, but could only give us 1 fork to share, as the others were being washed! Good job I hadn’t ordered a full English with beans. At the end I commented to a third bartender that we had only had 1 fork, only to receive another eye roll and sarcastic “sorry”. The pizza and drinks tasted good and were good value.
