Great place. Overwhelming quality of food. It really is a top place. Maybe the windows could of been better cleaned and perhaps lighting more engrossed with the current lighting. This is a remarkable place. I was so excited and emotional when I went there. Truly top class. Well done all who work there for a great service

They did my order wrong i do not like sauce in the middle they then continued to laugh at us as we drove off they have no manners they gave me less chips then kebab I wouldn’t recommend they’re services have gone down since the first time I went their

Stopped off for some chips after visiting local hospital and they were delicious some of the nicest we have had. They even gave us some batter bits at no extra cost. We asked for a regular portion and there were loads of chips! Very good value for money. Would highly recommend.

Always been a favourite of mine for a chippy tea! And non battered chips, my favourite kind. Been around many years, great quick polite service, may you be open for many more years.

Ordered from here a few times and have never had a problem but today the gravy had spilt and went all inside the bag and covered everything, missing sausage, fish was all broke up, batter all stuck to the paper it had been squashed.?

The fish and chips from here are absolutely amazing. It's literally perfection, especially the batter chips, best chips in Netherton. I would highly recommend to come down and get some food from here.

No longer a customer. Ordered 2 large portions of battered chips as part of our Iftaar during Ramadan and the quality and taste of the chips were extremely poor. After opening one bag and realising this, we didn’t even open the second bag. This is not the first time we’ve had chips from this place so we fail to understand why they were so distasteful. We called the shop to tell them about this and our dissatisfaction, to which they said to bring to the shop. We then went back to the shop just for the owner to try the chips and say it’s fine and completely ignore our complaint and opinion as a consumer. As the chips were inedible we no longer wanted them at all so left the chips at the shop with no refund or apology. Extremely extremely disappointed with this service and quality.

Where to start...the food was beautiful! Portion sizes were very generous, delivery driver was very pleasant. Honestly can't failt at all will definitly be ordering from here again :) oh and to put the cherry on the top we got free ice cream which was a really nice surprise thank you.

(updated review)Was the Best chippy in netherton how things have changed staff make mistakes with orders are rude, the chips are not the same as they used to be they are reheated yet are cold hard and disgusting . Also not good when your buying your naan breads from costcutter next door and selling them as freshly made naan..... What happened guys? Also you let your hygiene rating slip from 5 stars to 1 star? Basically not washing hands after toilet, rotten stock and rats by bins. Will never visit again. Added picture, sausage+ chip special with a tiny bit of curry sauce ... £5.50....

Got there at 21:30 and it was closed very annoyed 😒

Inconsistent quality, sometimes good mostly bad. Today i purchased 3 stone-cold pies. This place used to be the best but it has changed hands so many times of late that they have lost quality and i am sure custoners.

The best chippy I have had in a long time fantastic staff and a fantastic delivery driver the food was absolutely beautiful we had the all in one box to share and still couldn't eat it the portions are huge and well worth the money the scampi and roe were beautiful all the food came fresh and red hot we have found our forever chip shop if you haven't tried them yet you don't know what your missing i would give 20 stars if i could if you want chippy this is the place to go its a must try when you do I don't think you will use anywhere else tbh top top top rating from us and we are fussy buggers lol 😊 😊 😊 our new place to order thank you to all the staff there

We have been using this chippy for 7 years and feel it was the best chippy around….however, the last 2 times we have used them ( I like to give people a second chance ) it’s been worse than bad, poor portions, incorrect order and stone cold, absolute rubbish. This business has changed hands too frequently of late and both quality and consistency have suffered for it.

This place is good, the fish portion is huge with a very crispy batter, chips are super thick and cooked perfectly. But they charge cod/haddock prices for Pangasius fish.

I had missing stuff from my meal

Twice I've ordered the beasty burger from there and twice its come with the extras missing no onion rings and no bacon. Was basically a cheese burger with salad. No sauce this time either.🤷‍♀️

New owners, bit disorganised, not as good as before

Made a large order so had to wait on chips (this wasn't a problem). What was a problem was they started to order using the old chips. So by the time the order was complete the first lot of chips were not nice at all. Ordered kebab on fresh Nann. The only thing fresh about the nan was it was fresh out the fridge. The meat was ok but the meat at the bottom on the nann was cold as was the nann. Also ordered a cheese burger and the patty was what I can only describe as a Asda value range. The bun was 3 times the size of the patty. Used to like this place but in recent weeks it has started to slip it's standards always some thing worng with the order. Seriously considering to go else where

Fish and Chips (Orange) btw were nice but just way to much curry sauce. Ended up leaving most of it.

Terrible food gone down hill had a steak and kidney pie asked for gravy in a pot and it came over the chips. Pie wasnt cooked properly and the chips were hard like they wasnt cooked properly. Also had a donner amd chicken burger the grease on it was so bad that it was running down my arm. Wont be going there again.!!!!

Had to wait 20 minutes in shop for stuff that was already cooked. More staff than customers. Got order wrong didn't realise till got home and food was amazing would never use again
