Nero in Leicester

Regular here on day off from work, pleasant staff and nice drink BUT c’mon, clean the tables and clear cups from tables. Always having to clean table of spillages and crumbs…just make it more cleaner please

Took a long time to get served ended up with half cup of tea, no serviettes, filthy forks. Cake was lovely, but ate it with my fingers after asking for a clean fork four times and still didn't get a clean fork. Tables not cleared or cleaned. Attitude of male employee was sarcastic politeness. Will not be returning.

Popped in with my son who was treating me for a coffee. My latte was handed to me in a takeaway cup. Half full of throff and a half burnt coffee. Never go in there again. Very poor.

Young female staff member was very nasty today 21.5.23 to two 10 year old girls wanting to use the toilet! Should be ashamed of herself. Too many people saying bad things about the staff at this place! (Leicester Haymarket Caffè Nero)

Awful attitude of the staff and manager. I came here with my family today,and even though I repeated my order for 1 frapppe and 1 milkshake several times. I got 2 frappes and the flavour of one of them was still wrong.. The staff spent more time chatting than concentrating on what they were doing. When I complained I was fobbed off by the manager who had a smug look on his face. I won't be going back.

Enjoyed a coffee and croissant here this morning. Good to see Covid restrictions in place: card payments only, hand sanitiser available. But surprised to see that tables clearly weren’t being cleaned between customers. Not surprising as there only seemed to be two staff on duty and as it was fairly busy (though not crowded so as to cause concern) they were kept very busy at the counter.

O café corresponde exactamente ao esperado! Café de qualidade e local muito simpático! O único grande problema é mesmo a casa de banho... Absolutamente te nojenta...

We were planning in enjoying a nice cup of coffee, but the toilets were not in use, so we walked around for awhile, but the toilets were still not available, so we gave up and had a coffee elsewhere!

Very good place to have a coffee in the city centre. Service is excellent even it was crowded. Coffee tastes very nice. Americano 2.40£

Great place to unwind and grab an Italian coffee after a day in Leicester city centre. There’s outdoor seating too, an excellent angle for people watching on those days when weather allows for it!

Coffee fine, barista in flirty mood, however a bit unclean and unfortunately no toilet, you could improve here.

I used to go here all the time and it was my favorite place in town for a coffee. Called in twice recently and the coffee was awful - l mean really bad. Also the place was dirty with plates and cups all over the place and filthy toilets. One girl who works there is lovely but the manager and tall young lad are rude and seem to be getting worse. Went in a couple of days ago and they were calling every one and not doing much while the young girl seemed to be doing everything. The other Nero in Granby st is far better

Looks rather rundown and is in need of a good clean . Cleanliness is an issue the toilet was extremely filthy with an over filled bin which was all over the floor. Toilet floor was wet sink dirty. The seating area was thick with dust and food and litter on floor . The only plus side was that the young girl who served me was very helpful and very pleasant . The standard of cleanliness lets it down in a big way.

I normally go here for a catch up with friends when in town. Service is prompt and helpful staff on hand. No real issues apart from a nice place to catch up with friends and family. As you would expect from a Nero.

Visited once. Will not be returning. First the order was wrong and the reaction from the staff member was quite rude. Implied that we were at fault. Finally got the right drinks but wasn't impressed. Tasted very watery and left me feeling kind of ripped off.

This coffee house has a large range of drinks and food. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. I met the Ast Manager Ryan and he helped me with my selection

This was my first visit to a branch of the Cafe Nero chain. With a day off two of us went to Leicester for a look round as we had never been there before. The Coffee served us here was dreadful stuff . Very strong and in nasty thick cups. Partner's tea looked even nastier - which was confirmed.
