Néel Panéer in Trafford

This restaurant can take the air of a very noisy pub… especially early evening when the loud chav-like drinkers (rather than diners) predominant! My chicken was tough and when I told the waitress she smirked… no apology or even interest was shown. Overall the food is okay but definitely not somewhere for a quiet getaway!

Big shout out to Néel Panner. Always fantastic food, always attentive and first rate customer service. Choose a dish, any dish; you will never be disappointed. However, I recently added the ‘Scotch Eggs’ to my order. Just, sublime. I will be asking for the recipe.

What a great little find this was! Up for the cricket, staying locally and found the Neel Paneer on Google. The restaurant is bright, cheerful and very welcoming. The draught beer excellent and the menu comprehensive. The food was really tasty and the service was friendly, helpful and efficient, When we commented on the generous portions the manager said ‘Well, we like to look after you!’ And we really did feel looked after, thank you. We’ll certainly be back next time The Ashes come to Manchester!

Really disappointed food wasn't good at all especially the main courses. I can't believe it's the same place that I have eaten at regularly in the past. Unfortunately I won't be going back, which is a shame because the staff are great and like to support local places.

It use to be a great place manager was fantastic now your rushed to order feel pressured not even ate a popidom and rushed not finished starter told main was ready waitress cometed to her pal no tip well no not getting one when service was poor it’s a shame loved this place will not be returning

Pre booked a table for 8, glad we did as when we arrived at 5.30 it was really busy, food & service was amazing. This was our first visit but definitely won't be our last

Really am sorry to leave this review because you guys are so friendly but.... I've noticed that since lockdown the takeaways have got progressively worse. Then lamb has become almost impossible to chew. The sauces and rice are fine and full of flavour but it's clear that the worst cuts of meat are being used for the takeaway meals which is not fair to regular customers. You really need to value your takeaway customers as much as the restaurant customers. It appears that restaurant customers are more likely to voice thier disatisfaction than takeaway customers. This is likely due to takeaway customers not having the personal attention of the waiters. Because of this concept the takeaway customers food is of a lesser standard. Once again I am sorry to have to leave this review. Mike.

The atmosphere was really fantastic, very busy, definitely make a reservation! The food was really lovely - light and tasty - the chicken tikka sizzler was a fave for everyone. The Marsala and rogan Josh sauces were also great. Mo made us feel very welcome, got to know each table personally and apologised for the slight wait on food - but I believe a busy restaurant is a good sign! We were celebrating a birthday, and a round of complimentary end of dinner drinks was a wonderful touch. We will definitely be back, and would also take advantage of the 15% off takeaways. Top tip - only get the salt and pepper chips if you like them REALLY spicy 😂 All the food is excellent. And Mo was a real game changer when it came to friendly service. Even the music was amazing. 100% recommend. Thank you!!!

With another couple we visited this great restaurant yesterday. It was heaving, but that didn't matter a bit. The food was great and the service even better. Customers are treated as friends, it doesn't get any better than that. Thanks Mo and all your colleagues for an evening to remember. We'll be back for sure.

Let me start off by saying that I love curry, I mean I REALLY LOVE curry. I have been to lost most curry restaurants and take aways within a couple of miles. I visited with some friends last night on the 22.09.21. My friends know their food and appreciate decent grub. Some have been members of our curry club for the last 5 years where we have visited restaurants in Cheetham Hill and Levenshulme, which serve what I would call authentic curry - proper tasty curry. The food served at Neel Paneer is the nearest thing that I have tasted to the dednet curry which I have to travel for in Cheetham Hill. The Seekh Kebab and Tandoori butterflied king prawns were some of the best that we have ever tasted. The chicken tikka was melt in mouth and had a deep flavour to it. We ordered 5 curries including chicken Saag and lamb tandoori - the food was excellent and did not feel too greasy either. The staff were brilliant and Moh who is one of the owners was fantastic - really patient with us and a fabulous host. He kept our glasses replenished abs also threw in some free shots for us at the end of the evening! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates decent, proper curry and enjoys a brilliant atmosphere. We will be back again soon. In fact, I was so impressed that I am thinking of returning this evening for a take away!!

We only moved to Ashton last year but this has quickly become our favourite Indian. Fantastic food, some interesting and different menu choices and a great atmosphere. Staff are always warm, friendly and welcoming. Fantastic.

Absolutely delicious food and even better service, cannot rate this place highly enough. Can't believe we've lived here so long without finding it! We will definitely be back.
