Overpriced and poor standard. Naan bread that was raw in places and smelled like sour yeast, overcooked vegetable pakora with a hair in the tray. Won't be coming back unfortunately, this place needs a shake up.

This is my regular takeaway for an Indian meal. My wife and I have been customers for 25 years. We usually order the set meal for 2 which is very good value and provides enough food to serve 3 or 4 . The quality of the food is excellent and I recommend the Lamb Patia. The owner and chef Nuraj Khan is almost constantly in attendance to ensure consistency of quality.

This was one of the best meals we had on our trips. The serves were quite large - one naan was bigger than my head. The food as warm and very taste. Lots of flavours and freshness. The meat was very tender and everything cooked to perfection. We got take away on a Saturday night. Took about 45 minutes, which is normal to us on a weekend night. Wou,d definitely reccomend and go back again.

A stunningly excellent branch of the Nazma group. The head chef has many years of experience and a good interaction with customers of this superb takeway

Great Indian restaurant, likely better than all other Indians in this area to be honest - and I’ve tried them all multiple times. The Nazma’s negative is it’s HUGE waiting time and service is just “ok”. Would recommend but be prepared to wait!

I absolutely love a curry and I've tried them all in Banff and Turriff over many years. The Nazma is, for quality of cooking, far, far and away the best of the bunch. Delicious and very reasonably priced given the quality of the fare.

Friendly staff. Have been going to this curry house for a very long time. Wide variety of dishes to choose from. They also have a few vegetarian 🌱 dishes. Parking on the street. Chicken Saag is my favourite.

Have used the Nazma many times over many years. I have never had a bad meal yet. All the food is cooked from scratch and you can tell. If you want pre made sauces and boil in the bag currys then maybe you should try one of the other Indian takeaways in the area. The Nazma provides only freshly prepared food cooked from scratch garnished with delicious herbs and spices. It's a cut above anything else on offer in the area.

Good food, cannot decide if it's better than the Indian Garden which is just a street away. Anyway, the main issue here is the price... it's mind-blowing. So, SO expensive. In fact it's so expensive I don't know if I'll return. You can eat at a 4 star hotel for less money.... and this is a takeaway only.

I last had a meal from this take-away joint over a year ago now. I have had two meals in total from here. I am a vegetarian so twice had veg curry of different types. Madras and Jalfraisi. Both were basically lumps of over-cooked vegetables which could have come out of a tin and some curry paste added. Both tasted awful and had no strength. They have the cheek to charge you a fortune and make you wait forever. Don't bother!

Found this take away that is charging restaurant prices to be average at best. Our chicken pakora and our nan to be greasy and oily . The mains were a little bland as well but not bad tasting . Noticed one reviewer saying it was the best Indian meal they have ever had , well they really need to get out more !

Without a doubt the best Indian in Banff and Macduff, I've tried them all and nobody comes remotely close. Every single dish is stunning, never had a bad meal in my life. I've yet to find another Indian which comes close to Nazma. The staff are always pleasant and helpful, my only criticism is that the menu is quite expensive.

By far the best Indian meal I've ever had. Me and my partner usually get the special set meal for two which is £25.95 and you get a choice of two starters, 2 mains, a rice and naan along with the sauces and a choice of bombay aloo or mixed veg. Never had a bad meal from here and will continue to go.

Esta fue sin duda la peor comida india jamás haya sido mi desgracia. Casi 30 libras por dos entrantes y un plato principal con arroz - En serio? Un llevar? No me importa pagar por calidad, pero esto fue horrible. £8 + dos de arranque...

I came in to order curry then I noticed they serve fried chicken. I bought a large bucket which was only £19.95 that had 14 LARGE pieces of chicken, 4 portions of chips and a big bottle of cola. I would highly recommend everyone to try the new fry chicken!!! Amazing.

Not the cheapest but to be fair food and portions excellent but beware of extras ! I added spinach to a lamb vindaloo....charged £3 extra !Ordered lamb and spinach vindaloo, fried rice and plain naan. £18.40.Menu price without spinach £15.40 !Also asked to substitute a dish on the set meal menu. Charged £2.50 for the privilege although the item I asked for was £4 cheaper on the normal menu ! They will try and up your bill for the slightest thing. BEWARE !

Haven't been here in a while so thought we'd give it another go. Lamb Bhuna and chicken tikka masala, can't go wrong can it? My lamb was dry and the sauce was tasteless and oily. Tikka was terrible and the peshwari naan was disgusting. Total waste of time and money. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS PLACE!!'

Nazma has to be the best takeaway in the whole of aberdeenshire. The quality of the food is excellent. No fault at all in any of the meals. The set meals for two can feed the whole family. If you want good quality food, nazma is the place. If you want crap quality food there's a cheap indian for those who can eat crap. Nazma takeaway offers fresh food and we are able to see it being cooked right infront of our eyes so we know the food is 100% fresh. I have been getting takeouts from Nazma for 14 years now and the taste and quality of each dish is amazing. I have noticed people are moaning about the prices going up, but we do need to think about the cost of food going high, we wouldn't moan if tesco put their prices up, so why moan when the local takeaway puts prices up. We should consider the reasons why the prices have gone up, costs of chicken and lamb is quite expensive these days, if you can buy a packet of lamb from asda for £10 then surely buying a portion of lamb curry for less than £8 is worth it.

We used to get our carry out from here most weekends when through visiting Portsoy. It still seems a bit pricey especially compared to the new ones in Buckie. We ordered a large carry out from Nazma for 10 people and I had visions of getting home and finding heaps of items missing. This was far from the truth.Every dish was present and we had stacks of extra popadams and small pots of dips - excellent. Many mixed starters and mains were Patia, Bhuna, Korma, Madras and Biriani, lots of rice dishes and peshwari naans, garlic and plain naans.Overall 100%We could not fault the meals. Portion sizes were reasonable and several people couldn't finish their dishes, which we used up the following day.The naans were dry, non greasy, reasonable sizes, and fresh. In fact all the food is cooked to order, which is why it tastes so nice compared to other carry outs in the area.Highly recommend the food but the owner should seriously consider reviewing the prices. As it stands we continue to get our carry outs from Buckie and most orders are around £70-£90, sometimes more when my daughters are through as well.

My favourite Indian Take-away. Never found anywhere else that makes such a consistently good curry. It used to be very very cheap but now sadly prices have increased and gone the other way. However the quantity in a 'meal for two' usually does dinner and the following days Lunch too. My Favourites: Madras, Patia (tika meat versions preferred ) Lamb or Chicken. Usually these are on the slightly HOT side. The only one I don't like is the Bhuna

I have been eating Indian food since the mid Eighties from all around the world and mostly UK but the prices this TAKEAWAY charges is insulting. This is appalling and I feel so sorry for the Banff and surrounding area people that use this place. Question to the owner "How can you justify these prices for a small quiet town like Banff where there is not a booming work Industry? Those prices are far much more expensive than a Restaurant that I have used in Nottingham recently which has Michelin star status, also more expensive than the Curry Lounge run by Raz in Nottingham which was revitalized by Gordon Ramsay in Kitchen Nightmares. You are a Takeaway that is far too greedy and you need to change your prices to reflect the area and to stop ripping of the Locals with your ridiculous menu pricing! I hope that the good people of Banff can use their own judgement and if had any sense will not use this place until they make sensible changes. Look forward to hearing a reply from the owner.

Whilst on business,Went into get a curry, noticed place had changed and looked rather dingy and was told he was changing to a restaurant. Anyways had a bad time with my hotel so my mood wasn't the best. Waited 20 mins for my bhuna and I had asked for a receipt so I could claim it back. I picked up my curry and went back to hotel only to realise there was no receipt. After eating 1 fork full of I can only describe as the strangest chicken bhuna I have ever tasted, I went back to get my receipt. I was then met with a screwed up face that he didn't do receipts. A few verbals were exchanged and I left fuming with having received a crap meal, no receipt and £15 out of pocket. HMRC I hope your watching....disgusting place
