The cocktails are gone, the bar is back in the hands of the Naylor boys and it is a straightforward, WYSIWIG bar. The quality of the beer here is outstanding.

Recently moved to Crosshills and been visiting this bar which is one of the few little micro pubs in the area.. it’s being run by a lovely young girl who is very friendly and capable.. They have music evenings which are great fun and give the place a great buzz. The beer is brewed on site and it is OK if you like inoffensive microbrewed beer - nothing exceptional but it’s cheap and easy to drink. If you want more exciting beers try one of the other pubs in the area. It’s a bit of a “locals” place with back biting and two-faced nature of the patrons.. I feel sorry for the girl who runs it having to deal with them as they are nice to her till she turns her back and then they whinge about her!

At £2.50 for a pint of beer that you’d pay £3.30 around the corner for is one of the reasons why you would go but I would recommend you try the burgers upstairs. Great quality with a good amount of variation. Don’t be put off by the outside, the inside is pretty basic but it’s clean. Overall great place and if you are out for the night then start here as you will save yourself a few quid before moving on to the next place.

This little bar/restaurant is definitely worth a visit - very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. It is good for dropping in for a few pints of the beer (brewed on site) or for a meal. The range of beers is great with something for every beer lover along with a couple of beer themed cocktails if you fancy something different. The restaurant upstairs has an Americana themed menu with a good selection of meals including steamed burgers which I had and they are definitely worth a try! On the whole it is a relaxed and friendly place with affordable food and drink; a great place to come with family or friends :-)

Plenty of beers and ciders to choose from here, seating both outside and in - my only criticism would be the limited option for sweeter drinks - again, plenty of soft drinks which could mix with something like a vodka, but no sweeter spirits or alcopops for those with a bit of a sweet tooth.

We visited the Beer Belly Kitchen one Friday night with friends. I had been to the brewery bar many times, but never to the restaurant, and I found it modern and welcoming. The staff were young, but very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. We had starters which were all delicious, especially the kings and queenies. Our main courses included Wensleydale chicken, fish stew and burgers. We had pecan pie for pudding, and a few drinks each, which worked out at £20 each, which we thought was excellent value. I'll definitely be back!

I visited with my family and found the staff to be superb. Very welcoming and to be fair I would give 5 out of 5 for this side. However I found the setting to be a little odd and I was unable to relax as I would in a traditional pub or bistro. As for the food I had a burger and I would rather have a grilled one rather than steamed. It is great quality but lacked flavour that I feel you get with grilling. I will probably go back in the future but it is not a must to do it soon.

I really enjoyed my first visit to the Beer Belly Kitchen and was pleasantly surprised by the ambience and furnishings. The menu had a varied choice, especially the starters, and good portions. I recommend the Whitebait and the Kings and Queens! Awesome and great value. The service was good and the staff were friendly and smiley. One tip don't sit at any of the tables by the entrance, as there is quite a chill when the door is opened. After you have eaten you can always go downstairs to the brewery bar and sample some of their fine ales to end the perfect night.

I initially missed the restaurant as I thought the Beer Belly Kitchen would be in a pub owned by Naylor's, but no, the Beer Belly Kitchen is literally attached to the brewery. Don't be put off by the industrial park setting - the short and sweet menu is spot on. I tried the Cod and Queenies scallop main - fresh, tasty and accompanied by delicious skin-on fries. The other half devoured the steamed cheeseburger and onion rings. We then managed to squeeze in a perfectly gooey and fudgey chocolate brownie and ice-cream. Unpretentious, belly busting, gourmet comfort food washed down with great beer - well done Brews Brothers!

After enjoying drinks and various themed days here in the past we have been keen to come for food at The Beer Belly restaurant for quite some time and boy are we glad we did! We started our evening sampling some of Naylor's fantastic real ales in the comfy bar whilst chatting to the friendly barman and perusing the menu. The drinks selection is vast and the prices are very reasonable- what's not to like?! After our first drink we couldn't wait any longer and headed upstairs to the restaurant area to be greeted by a lovely waitress who genuinely couldn't do enough for us all evening. The restaurant itself is casual and quirky yet manages to be stylish and ambient whilst still fitting with the authentic brewery theme- very clever. To start my partner ordered the homemade black pudding scotch egg (which I have to be honest I couldn't help stealing half of when I saw it!), for main I went for the Big Cheese Burger with sides of shoestring fries and coleslaw and my partner went for the deal of the day which was Steak and Stilton pie, chips, peas and a pint for £10! The food was fresh, piping hot and delicious- compliments to the chef- we enjoyed every bite! After dinner we enjoyed the live entertainment in the bar downstairs- the girl singing was fantastic! All in all a very enjoyable evening. Those Brews Brothers are on to a winner with this place and we will be back again very soon! Xxx

We went as a family of four on a Thursday evening. Whilst Friday and Saturday nights are very busy, Thursdays are a little quieter which suited us fine. We had two portions of the chicken wings as a starter which we shared between the four of us. They were delicious with the meat falling of the bone. For mains we had the "Porker" - 2 pieces of belly pork, pulled pork and 2 fat sausages, Empanadas - little pasties filled with tomato and veg, the steamed cheeseburger and a chicken burger. The burgers were part of the Thursday Beer and Burger offer and came with fries, onion rings, coleslaw and a choice of a pint of draught beer, lager or cider all for £10. We shared 2 desserts, an icecream sundae and the chocolate fudge cake. Both portions were generous. All the food was fantastic. Portion size is good - just right in our opinion. The Beer Belly kitchen has been open for a couple of months now and although we have visited the bar many times this was our first meal. It won't be the last! As stated earlier it does get very busy at the weekend so I would advise booking, although you can also eat in the bar downstairs. The menu isn't huge but there should be something for all but the pickiest eater. There are also weekly special starter and main choices which are different every week. The price was around £65 for four adults. This included a round of drinks, 2 starters, 4 mains and 2 puddings. Excellent value for the quality and quantity of food.

This is a small restaurant attached to the brewery. It is only open three evenings a week. The menu is what I would call casual. Burgers, pulled pork, pies but big portions and hot. There were 12 of us and I think they struggled to get all our meals out together plus some had starters and some didnt but when the food arrived it was piping hot. The burgers were massive, and drenched in cheese. The pies came in the old fashioned enamel tins with side orders of chips and onions rings a plenty. Each side order is extra so you can choose chips or veg or mash. Prices are reasonable with the daily specials making it even better value. The beer belly sundae was fabulous, the cheese cake and lemon tart also excellent according to my friends. Quirky little details like cream in baby milk bottles and mega mugs of coffee make this a night to remember. Its not posh, is comfortable and friendly. Staff were great and very attentive, I will certainly go back.

Went there with the wife and 2 children (one 11, one 14 who is a vegetarian) on Friday night.Great design to the place, think 1950's American diner-ish, but with a bit more modernity to it, and an interesting menu that's got the typical burgers, but other home cooked items like chicken pie, etc.We each had a starter and a main course and were far too stuffed to eat a dessert or have a hot drink, in fact I was too stuffed to even finish my beer (brewed in the place of course), so that should give you an idea about portion sizes.Value for money is definitely a phrase that immediately springs to mind. For starters 2 of us had the special - black pudding and sausage "scotch egg" with a runny egg (me and my 11 year old son) - delicious; One had the rarebit (vegetarian daughter) - delicious; one mozarella rolls (wife) - delicious; For mains me and my son had the "soon to be famous steamed cheese burger", the wife had the chicken pie, and my daughter had the field mushroom burger (the veggie option of course).I have to admit that I wasn't sure at all about a "steamed" burger and whether it would even look palatable, never mind be palatable, but I have to say that both me and my son thought it as delicious and was probably one of the best burgers we'd ever had.The veggie alternative was also delicious according to my daughter, and the chicken pie was also excellent according to the wife.However....The big mistake we made was in ordering 2 sides with each main. for an extra fee.I ordered home cooked chips and beans, my son ordered mashed potato and onion rings, my wife ordered mashed potato and peas, and my daughter had chips and garlic bread.I was thinking that the portions of these side orders would be small, like you get at a local pub, but they were HUGE - and I mean HUGE.My portion of beans for example must have been well over half a tin of baked beans, maybe even a whole tin, and I just couldn't eat it all.Same for all of us.For a starter and main each (4 of each), 4 soft drinks, and 3 pints of beer (2 pints and 2 halves) it came to a total of £68.I think this is amazing value for money for excellent quality food.If it were me running this place then I'd probably tone down the sizes of the portions, particularly the sizes of the sides, so that people could fit in a pudding.Of course this would be purely commercial, and the place would lose that edge, perhaps some balance could be struck between portion sizes and cost to accommodate all options?Overall it's a 9.5/10, my son in particular is desparate to come back again ASAP.
