Food took over an hour and 45 mins to arrive after being told it would be under an hour!!!! Was stone cold when did eventually turn up!! We called to tell them and the customer service was absolutely atrocious!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THERE!!! WORST INDIAN EVER!!!!

food took over 2 hours to arrive, turned up cold and inedible. Customer service was shocking and said they “can’t guarantee food will be warm when delivering” Will never use again

Brilliant service - always friendly and welcoming any time me and my hubs pop in, and they're only just round the corner from us. The food is delicious, and I've never had a bad experience when ordering from them. Would highly recommend!

I like Nawabi and its staff and owner. But the set menu for two today was so bad that it is in the bin. Papadums must have been half a day old, starters so burnt, meat tough, potatoes and cauliflower very mushy. Sorry to have to say this.

Been coming here for takeaways since Jan 2022 and has always been great, always recommend their Garlic Chicken, Sag Aloo and Kormas, the prices ain’t too bad either!

I recently ordered from Nawabi Indian Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. I highly doubt the quality of food in this restaurant as they can’t even cook a naan. I had an accident of ordering a plain naan and a garlic naan. Half of the naan was undercooked loaf of dough and other half was over cooked burnt with charcoal attached.

Chicken madras and a naga chicken. Tasted exactly the same. The meat was dry and tough. Never again.

Don't bother getting fish chips 🤣🤣🤣 would genuinely make you laugh at the size of the fish... it definitely was birds eye battered cod frozen ones. Good food in general 😋

Ordered £56.50 worth of food today, chicken was rock hard, tastes like it has been frozen freezer burn and reheated. Lamb was over cooked and rubbery, had to throw out the chicken and lamb. Called the takeaway as the food was so poor. I won’t be using them again as this is really NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Very disappointing food not up to standard .Tasted like it had been hanging about for a.week. Dry and tasteless in fact horrible.

Haven't had a meal from here for years after a bad experience. Saturday we decided to give it another go. We ordered a delivery at 5pm when they opened, I think this was a big mistake as it looked and tasted like yesterday's food. Poppadoms were stale and soft, onion bahji rock hard. Didn't taste fresh at all. Forgot our naan bread had to phone them, it was delivered in 10 minutes. Our bill was just over £56 which isn't cheap. Very disappointed 😞

The food was good apart from paneer tikka. We got a takeaway with Tarka dal, rice, naan and paneer tikka masala. Paneer let us a bit down as I never saw paneer tikka masala cooked in a coconut gravy anywhere. Its supposed to be a bit spicy in a tomato and onion gravy with spices. But rest of the food was great and big portions. Thank you Nawabi.

Yum! Really great Indian food! We ordered the chicken balti and lamb bhuna and both were quickly prepared and fabulously tasty.

Delicious halal Indian food, naan and curry taste so authentic. My kids love anything from Nawabi, just that they provide takeaway service only. I wish one day they can have to dine in facility.

This was almost inedible because it was absolutely swimming in oil, enough to fill the bottom of the container to at least half an inch. It didn't taste of anything but oil, either. Terrible.

Edit - Had to increase to five stars. Had an awesome delivery recently. We had a bit of a mix-up the weekend before, but enjoyed a delicious replacement later. Great customer service. Nawabi has gone back on my top takeaways list!

The people keep asking for me to remove the comment because they don't like bad comments about their food , well sorry but it was absolutely disgusting and I wouldn't order anything from there even if I was paid to

Lovely Indian takeaway. Great range of dishes that are well-cooked. The only complaints from my family were that the chicken tikka was a little dry and my home-made Indian style mint sauce is much better. We particularly enjoyed the Lamb Khata and the King Prawn Patia.

Tried today for the very first time and impressed. Ordered Naga Mixed Veg and it was so yummy. Chilli naan and chicken tikka rice was good too.

It’s wonderful to find a restaurant where the chef has a real passion for his food. Everything was fresh, tasty and piping hot. Highly recommended! Curry at it’s best! We will be back often!

I hadn't tried nawabi for a few years so i was a bit skeptical when i placed a big order recently for me and my work colleagues. I was absolutely blown away by how delicious the food was and so were my colleagues. The portions are a generous size...you won't be disappointed. The lady who took my order was lovely and she even brought it out to my car as i was sat outside waiting!

Ordered online but still had to wait 20 minutes after I arrived to collect. Sadly after 30 minutes drive home I discovered the onion bahji I ordered had been replaced with samosa. Rather disappointed I'm afraid.

Love the food, the place and the people they are are so friendly. The chicken kebab is definitely like no other, the quality is very different. I spoke to them and they said theres a surprise coming, cant wait 🤔🤭 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great place for curry. Would recommend this place to anyone who hasn't had a curry before.

I tried Nawabi as it was just around the corner and I wanted a quick curry. What i didn't know was that it would become my favourite curry in Oxford! The amount of meat in the curries is very generous, the curries have always been incredibly flavoursome, and the newish lamb, chicken or mixed naan kebabs they do are truly excellent (won several friends over with them!). To put it plainly, Nawabi is the only curry house I have called up after eating a meal from them to say thank you.... it was that good! The staff are also very friendly, do say hi to them when you are there :)

Where shall I start oh the 7up was missing. The madras was full of baked hard tandoori chicken only few pieces. The naan bread seemed like they were made of wood

what I got was I suppose a microwaved chicken - rubbery texture, can see the fibers and rice without taste ( I believe also microwaved ), for over 10 pounds this is definately not what I hoped for, maybe the restaurant is better than that, this was justeat.co.uk I gave 2 as I had worse than that.

Having had food from Nawabi for many years, we haven't recently, until tonight. The set meal for 2 was amazing and more than enough. Food was really tasty and freshly cooked. We will definitely order again.

called on Sunday at 5:00 to make a complaint about our take away on Saturday night I was told you would give me a call back .. I did not receive that call so I thought I would email you.. BUT NO REPLY !! I was at my daughters and convinced her to order the Indian from the Nawabi she usually orders from Cafe Spice (Rosehill) . We ordered; Onion Bhaji -- BURNT - Not able to eat as to hard and burnt Chicken Tikka - BURNT - Not able to eat as dry and hard and burnt Chicken Razzala - No chilies no spice. Chicken Madras - Sauce like water Bombay Potato - No sauce dry Mushroom Rice - The only dish that was edible Garlic Nan - Burnt Peshwari Nan - Burnt This was very disappointing as I have ordered my meals from you for sometime now as they are always very good. I have never in 35 years of eating Indian food seen anything like this.

Good size, fresh portions, very friendly staff

The staff are loud and rude and do not give a Damn about the local residents.
