Nawaab in Bradford

I've just seen some of the reviews and I don't know which nawaabs some of them went to but my family and friends go every year on my brothers anniversary of his death and every time we have great service, great food, and extremely great value for money. We go to the buffet, take our own drinks, and even one of my family members doesn't eat curry but they still allow him to sit and drink with us and don't charge him anything at all. How many restaurants do you know that allow you to sit in and not eat? This place has become a very special place for us and I'd recommend it to anyone. Thank-you

They can’t even deliver the right order.Instead they delivered the wrong order.By far the worst curry I have ever had in my entire life.the starters were also terrible.I’m still waiting on my refund from them as they delivered the wrong order,I will certainly not be going here again your better off getting a microwaveable curry from a supermarket.Iceland curries are better than this place.Don’t waste your money and go elsewhere

The staff were so friendly here and the service was perfect as was the food. We ordered some starters for the main meal and they supplied no problem. We will certainly come here again and enjoy. Thanks to the staff for making us feel welcome.

Wow not great lads the taste is there but wow cold and presented via catapult your foods better than this really disappointing

Booked a table, it was obvious they were not taking any details down. On arrival they didnt ask for a name which confirmed the above. The starters were very good (after a long wait) but one of the side plates was not clean. My main course (Achari Murgh) was not particularly nice but that could be down to my choice. Main courses were warm not hot. We odered another round of drinks which never arrived but were charged for. The bill (when it finally arrived) was wrong.... twice. The management need to get to grips with the whole customer experience, staff walking about aimlessly, no urgency, no customer relations and quite frankly didnt seem bothered. This is a restaurant we will not be returning to. We recently visited the International in Bradford and can happily say we gave that a 5 star review. I hope the management here take this as constructive criticism and act on it... for there own good.

First of all you’re going for a curry, so on that 6 out of 10 max. Food was tasty but cold, probably because we asked for 10 mins before they brought out the mains. Ordered popadoms and pickle tray, starters came out before we’d finished so sent them away, when we were ready they were cold. Popadoms broken not complete, you would just put 2 extra ones on, but the service and interaction was non existent. They do an early bird offer, but we had to ask about it. A bit of fine tuning required especially on customer service.

While staying in the area for one night only we enjoyed a fabulous meal here. The food was amazing and the staff were friendly and efficient. The menu was extensive and varied and surprisingly affordable. If I lived locally I would dine there weekly but unfortunately they don’t deliver to Essex! I loved my evening there, thank you to the chefs, waiting staff and reception.

Rang to order , my partner asked me a question about the order, less than 10 seconds later and he said ring me back we are busy ,so rude .. A few weeks ago we ate in and left an 8 quid tip, wish he had said I'll come back for the tip we are busy .. end of visits here

Awful restaurant. Ordered through Uber Eats, app was on “delivery on it’s way” for an hour. Food turned up cold. Called restaurant to complain, got abused by the staff. If you want your order within an hour and at least lukewarm, absolutely avoid this s*** hole

The place was packed out. No social distancing at the tables. Despite their website saying measures are put in place, they're not. The tables were not 1m apart per alone 2m! There was the same amount of tables as before and every one was full. The room felt packed and stifled. No one was on the door to take our name and number for track and trace. They had no idea who was in the restaurant if they needed to contact the customers. There was no one to oversee that hand sanitizer was used on entry. We had to actively look and search for the sanitizer ourselves which there was a bottle on the bar mixed with other bar items. Customers walked straight through and didnt sanitize. There was no disposable/paper menus (which I know they dont have to provide) but most restaurants are using paper menus so there is no cross contamination from staff or other customers. How many people have touched the menu and then eaten with their fingers? They were not wiped down as they were too busy. We asked for salt at the table. Instead of a single paper packet they brought a salt pot which was smeared with curry! This is disgusting normally but in this current situation it proves that it has not been cleaned from the previous table which is frightening. If they are not cleaning food from a salt pot they wont do the small things we cant see! Overall the staff were nice, but the place was very badly run considering there is a crisis on. We felt business and greed was put before customer safety. And did not appreciate the quote on the website stating how food they are social distancing people when they arent! We stayed as it was a friends birthday but felt very uneasy, wary and cautious. We felt uncomfortable instead of relaxed. We sent an email to the restaurant stating our concerns but heard nothing back hence this review.

We will never eat in this dirty restaurant ever again - when we checked out their official food hygiene ratings they scored 1...yes 1 out of 5!! I’ve seen grubby kebab houses score more!! That is simply disgusting for a restaurant which is part of a chain. In my opinion it needs to close down.

We went with our daughter for her birthday the food was not very good and it was from the alacort menu the drinks are a a bit expensive but you can take your own ifyou want. The buffet is excellent, plenty of choice, all made fresh, the food is beautiful, really tasty, I Would strongly recommend this place to anyone they have the buffet side of the restaurant and then you can also order from a menu in the other side of the restaurant, they also do takeaways too

Este lugar solía ser Lapwater Hall. No buena comida y ofrecerla en un número de maneras. A la carta, el Early Bird y un buffet. Hemos estado a la carta y también utilizamos las buffet. El buffet tiene una muy amplia variedad de platos, incluso el especialista. La comida es buena, pero no es barato, aunque tienes un montón de opciones. Compartimos poppadoms para empezar con buena calidad chutneys luego tuve un cordero al curry que estaba en una salsa rica y oscura que era sorprendentemente picante y inusual, no grasienta. El naan peshwari era muy bueno, con un montón de llenado y era enorme, así como todas las raciones y no pude terminar toda la comida. Los precios eran de unos £7 para la mayoría de platos y un poco más de gambas o especiales. También usaron un curry eglefino en que es nuevo para mí. En general, este lugar me pareció excelente. Mi única crítica es que algunos de mis cordero era bastante difícil.

Nos sentamos en casa y pensar que dónde podíamos ir de té? Luego recordaba el restaurante curry en Tong. No había sido ya que primera vez que abrió sus puertas en el año 2000 y decidí probarlo.

Esta noche hemos probado este restaurante para una comida para llevar y entrega por primera vez después de muchas recomendaciones. No nos decepcionó, servicio rápido. Me encantó el ambiente, la comida y el personal! La comida era increíble. Incluso mi esposa no me puedo quejar! Buffet era genial! Muchos platos... Me malacostumbrados! Los niños también estaban contentos porque el cocinero había tomado en cuenta su preferencia.

Después de leer las buenas críticas de este restaurante nos en previsión de alta si lo iba a venir. A su llegada fue claro hay dos áreas distintas a la crate y el buffet. Fuimos a la sección de buffet y la decoración parecía monótona y la moqueta necesitaba algo de atención. La camarera era atento y educado. Ella nos dijo, donde todo era, sin embargo, olvidó mencionar que estaban disponibles a pedido popadoms así que supuse que no había ninguna disponible.

Muy buen servicio. Normalmente vamos por el buffet. El camarero con las copas y la camarera normalmente en cada noche comimos excelente. Para ser honesto, son concentrados. Responder rápidamente cuando es necesario y están más que dispuestos a ayudar. Excelente comida!!!!!

My father in law said the king prawn curry he had was the best curry he had ever had. All in all very much enjoyed our meal here and will go back.

Visitamos el viernes 1 de abril como 2 parejas. Reservamos las 8.30 pm, pero en realidad no llega hasta las 9,15 h. Éramos los únicos que nos pareció un poco extraño, pero pensé que era debido a la vez. Otra familia hizo llegar un corto tiempo después.

Fuimos a probar el buffet específicamente. Nos recibió amable, cortés y camareros nos llevaron a nuestra mesa. El buffet era bastante amplia y aunque no en la misma categoría que el Aagrah o buffets mumtaz era mucho menos caro que la suya y muy buena relación calidad-precio. El lugar es bueno para grupos grandes y grupos familiares, incluidos niños... en general una buena comida con un personal agradable.

La parrillada mixta primer plato era muy sabroso, pero demasiado caliente (picante) para un aperitivo. Para el plato principal que elegimos un especial king gambas, que resultó ser un matrimonio gambas Korma 7.50, mi compañero tenía Nosheri King gambas, que era un poco dulce pero no está mal.

Fuimos aquí el viernes por el menú reserva anticipada no admiten cancelaciones. Acabé eligiendo el menú principal ... la comida era deliciosa. El lugar estaba lleno, lo que estaba bien, pero no había significativo espera y los camareros eran agradables y muy amable. Probamos casi todos los entrantes, que en realidad eran muy sabroso, especialmente la de pollo Tikka que yo y mi financee tenía un poco de. Nos trataron los platos principales y no eran tan impresionados con la elección. Yo tuve el pollo Tikka masala, jalfrezi de pollo, arroz y pan hervido. El masala estaba bien, jalfrezi era muy aceitosa y el naan era realmente pasada. Mi otra mitad probamos la mayoría de los platos principales y no me impresionó. Los postres eran una opción de frambuesa o salados tarta chocolate cheesecake y helados.

Excellent restaurant where there is a choice of formal/informal dining. The choice of dishes at the buffet was plentiful,starters,mains and desserts and value for money. If you like your spicy food then definitely give this a try.
