Nasta Chaat in Canterbury

Really good curry, reasonably priced and delicious. I believe this has recently re-opened where Ghurkha Dine used to be and has quickly become our "go to" takeaway. Don't let the lowish overall rating put you off. I think a lot of the reviews must be from a former iteration of this restaurant and I don't think they are applicable any more as any low rating is from a long time ago and relates to restaurant service , whereas this is takeaway only.

Food was absolutely delicious, easy to order and the staff were so friendly and kept us informed about our food. Can't wait for our next takeaway 🤩

First meal from here easily ordered online,delivered at stated time,large portions of really good food arrived hot,will use again and recommend

Really enjoyed my food experience here. Food came out quick and hot, the chicken was a little to tough to chew but that's to be expected from a new restaurant but other than that very nice. Definitely eat from here again.

I very rarely write reviews, but this food was absolutely delicious. Customer service was great. They didn't have a couple of the dishes we ordered but more than made up for it with plenty of amazing replacements. If you haven't given this place a chance yet, do! You won't regret it.

I was treated like trash, i was stared at like they hated me, yet i was friendly, the food tasted ok but the service was very bad.

Absolutely brilliant. Brilliant service and the food especially the starter prawn on puree is the one. Trust me. Enjoy people!!!

The bloke on the counter is Rude and arrogant. Ud think with the way he talks to u that instead of a paying customer u were one of his slaves. Have waited two hours over takeaway time and been over charged. Not going again enoughs enough.

Beware,POOR SERVICE,we ordered our starter it came 40 minutes later and cold,both of our drinks were flat and with no ice,basically served warm,the staff are very rude,when our main dish arrived,the naan bread came 15 minutes later by then our curry was cold,we complained to the waiter who said he can microwave our food for us,what a absolute joke,we paid for our starters and warm drinks and left,OVER RATED- OVER PRICED - much better places to eat in canterbury.

Best curry I've ever had. Absolutely amazing.

We have been regular customers but the last two times we have ordered a delivery, there have been problems with all of the order arriving. I complained to find that I was not being listened to and both times had to reheat my food whilst waiting for part of my order. I will not be ordering again. Not impressed.

SHOCKING! In a group of 20. They was more interered in serving ur drinks than food. Waited 30 mins for our starter, when the mains arrived my main was 10 mins after my rice and side! Some dishes never arrived. Never again!!

Order was late. Phoned up to ask where it was and got hung up on. Then phoned back and staff member was very rude to me. The food is good but they don't care about yoi!

No service. Was seated and told someone will come but no one did. The guy at front of house didn't seem bothered.

Terrible service from a takeaway. They had omitted half the order. Upon telephoning the restaurant, we were told "what do you expect me to do about it" and "I am the manager" when we asked to speak to the manager. They then hung up. Will never use this place again.

One of the best curry houses in Canterbury. Swing between them and Kashmir Tandoori. Both equally brilliant.

Me and my mother in law went there last night and it was empty. Normally i would be put off with that but as i have had takeaways from there we stayed and sat in the middle of the room. We were served our drinks and the poppadums and ordered our food with very polite waiters. When our food came it was amazing. The quality and tastes were fantastic, fresh, zingy, spicy and i was immediately engrossed in the tastes of india. We both enjoyed everything we were served. You could taste that it was freshly made, no excess grease or oils. even the poppadums came out light and tasty. After a while more and more people came into the restaurant and the atmosphere started to buzz properly. Thank you for a fantastic night Jalsha, we could not find a bad word to say when we left.

The meal was very good, and so was the service. Extensive choice of overpriced wines and other drinks. Beautifully decorated and maintained, but not how I'd have done it. I came out feeling I had potted plants coming out of my ears! Good place to go for a quiet meal, though I went early in the week.

Had a brilliant home-made tasting Rogan Josh and Biriani in Jan 2008. Friendly service too. Nice interior decor.
